Ashutosh Rana will soon be seen in the spy action thriller, War 2, co-starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani.
Ramayana, the Nitesh Tiwari directorial mythological drama film featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Maa Sita and South star Yash as Ravana in the leads, is one of the most anticipated films of Bollywood. It has been making headlines ever since its announcement. As the makers have now moved to the post-production stage for Ramayana Part-1, actor Ashutosh Rana reacted to his fans' desire to watch him play the role of Lord Rama instead of Ranbir.
Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, the actor shared, 'Mera manna yeah hai ki jo cheez aapke prarambh mein ya aapke bhaag mein bhagwan ne likhi hogi woh apne aap mil jaati hai. Aap sirf ek jagah par baithkar, dhyan lagakar wait kijiye. Pratiksha aur dhairya agar sahi jagah par ki jaaye toh fal bhi zaroort milta hai. Main yeh manta hoon ki humaara ek naatak hai, Ram Naam ke naatak mein main Ravan ka kidaar nibha raha hoon. (Personally, I believe that whatever God has planned for you will find its way. You only need to sit in one place and wait patiently. If your patience and waiting are in the right path, they will pay off. That is what I believe. I believe that life is like a drama, and in the play 'Ram Naam,' I am simply presenting the character of Ravan)."
He added, 'Aap apne mitro se zyada apne dushmanon ke naam ka chintan karte hai. Toh jiske baare mein aap sochte ho ho aap unke jaise hojaate hai. Toh agar hum Ram ka kirdaar nibha rahe hote toh Ram ji apne baare mein toh naa sochte rehete? Aur agar woh apne baare mein sochte, toh woh fir hum unko Ram kaise kehete (You care more about your enemies than your friends. And the more you think about someone, the more you become like them. So, if we were playing the part of Ram, would he have spent his time thinking about himself? And if he was always thinking of himself, how could we still call him 'Ram')?"
Ashutosh Rana Portrays The Role Of Ravan In Humare Ram
The actor is currently seen playing the role of Ravan in the theatrical play Humare Ram. The play, which is based on the Ramayana, has a large stage production and aims to present the epic through a fresh perspective, focusing on the storylines of Luv and Kush.
Ashutosh Rana Work Front
On the film front, Ashutosh will soon be seen in the spy action thriller, War 2, co-starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and backed by Yash Raj Films, it is slated to hit the big screens on August 14.

Prince Harry Hit This Royal Family Member During An Argument In 2013, Gave Him A Bloody Nose

A new book by Andrew Lownie claimed that Prince Andrew and Harry had a heated argument in 2013 at a family gathering over something "Andrew said behind Harry's back." A new book has revealed that Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, had a heated argument with Prince Harry at a family gathering in 2013 in which 'punches were thrown". The book, called Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, claimed that the two princes got into a physical fight years ago over 'something Andrew said behind Harry's back". The book's author, Andrew Lownie, shed light on the 'problematic" relationship between the Duke of York and his nephews, William and Harry. Excerpts quoted by The Telegraph claimed that Harry 'got the better of Andrew by all accounts" during the alleged fight and left his uncle with a 'bloody nose" before the fight was broken up. Prince Andrew, King Charles' younger brother, who fell from grace over his links to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, is believed to have told Harry that his marriage to Meghan Markle would not 'last more than a month". Furthermore, he allegedly accused his nephew of going 'bonkers" and not doing 'any due diligence into her past" before the pair married in 2018. The source quoted in Lownie's book claimed that Harry later told his brother William that 'he hated Andrew". 'William has long worked behind the scenes to evict his uncle from Royal Lodge, the home he occupies in Windsor Great Park. He thinks Andrew is abusing the property and his privilege there," Lownie wrote. Andrew has been facing the threat of eviction from the 30-room property after the King severed his allowance, estimated to be worth £1m annually, last year, according to The Telegraph. A source in Lownie's book claimed that the Prince of Wales is keen to 'evict" Andrew and his wife from the lavish estate. These revelations came after Harry revealed in his memoir, Spare, that he got into a physical fight with his elder brother over his relationship with Meghan Markle. He claimed that Prince William shoved him to the floor in a physical altercation at Kensington Palace in 2019, when he confronted him over Markle's 'rude" and 'abrasive" behaviour. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Suhana Shares Childhood Photo, Gauri Khan Calls SRK A ‘Favourite' After National Award Win

Suhana & Gauri Khan react to Shah Rukh Khan's first National Award win for Jawan. Emotional tributes, childhood memories, and proud moments shared online. After an illustrious career spanning over three decades, Shah Rukh Khan has finally clinched his first-ever National Film Award — and it's a moment his family isn't letting pass quietly. The superstar has been honoured with the Best Actor award at the 71st National Film Awards for his powerful dual role in the 2023 blockbuster Jawan. He shares the title with Vikrant Massey, who was equally lauded for his moving performance in 12th Fail. Marking this historic win, both Suhana Khan and Gauri Khan took to social media to express their love, pride, and joy. Suhana shared a heartwarming black-and-white throwback photo on Instagram, where a younger Shah Rukh is seen carrying her in his arms. Alongside the image, she wrote, 'From bedtime stories to stories that leave a mark, no one tells them like you. Congratulations. Love you the most ❤️." View this post on Instagram A post shared by Suhana Khan (@suhanakhan2) Meanwhile, Gauri Khan posted a celebratory carousel that featured candid moments with Shah Rukh, Rani Mukerji, and Karan Johar. In one picture, SRK is seen planting a kiss on Rani's cheek. Gauri captioned the post, 'Three of my absolute favourites just WON big… and so did our hearts ❤️ When talent meets goodness, magic happens — so proud, and so ready to brag about them forever! 💕" View this post on Instagram A post shared by Gauri Khan (@gaurikhan) Her caption also alludes to the wins by Rani Mukerji and Karan Johar. Rani took home the Best Actress award for her powerful portrayal in Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway, while Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani bagged two major honours — Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, and Best Choreography for Dhindhora Baje Re, awarded to Vaibhavi Merchant. The 71st National Film Awards, announced on August 1, recognised cinematic brilliance from 2023. And for Shah Rukh Khan, the accolade marks a new milestone in a career filled with iconic performances. In Jawan, directed by Atlee, SRK essayed a gripping double role — as jailer-turned-vigilante Azad and his mysterious father Vikram Rathore. The film tackled urgent social issues like corruption, farmer suicides, and government apathy, all while delivering high-octane action and emotion-packed drama. The film became a box office phenomenon, and Khan's performance was hailed for its intensity, emotional depth, and mass appeal — finally earning him the national recognition his fans always believed he deserved. From being the king of hearts to now officially a National Award-winning actor, Shah Rukh Khan's latest win is being celebrated by not just fans, but by those closest to him — and their pride says it all.
