Meghalaya CM Sangma helps student play guitar during village school visit: ‘Too humble and dashing'
A heartwarming moment featuring Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has captured the internet's attention, as a video of him helping a student play the guitar during a school visit has gone viral on Instagram, drawing widespread appreciation.
During a recent visit to Nongspung A village in the Jirang constituency, Sangma interacted with students at a village school. While taking a round of the school and observing activities, he noticed a student attempting to play the guitar but struggling with strumming. CM Sangma stepped in, and patiently demonstrated the correct finger placements and showed the student the right way to hold and strum the guitar.
Sharing the touching moment on his Instagram page, Sangma wrote, 'At Nongspung A village in Jirang, a student showed keen interest in playing the guitar, so I handed one to the school during my visit there. He may be an amateur now, but I'm confident he will learn and play when we inaugurate their new school building someday.'
