EXCLUSIVE Heartbreaking reason Scott Disick is done with love… as insiders reveal why ex Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker still 'stings'

Daily Mail01-05-2025

Ever since Kourtney Kardashian moved on with Travis Barker, Scott Disick hasn't been in a serious relationship with a woman his own age.
Now, an insider has told DailyMail.com that he's done with love because he struggles to trust the intentions of potential suitors – and because Kourtney's PDA-heavy relationship with her rocker hubby still 'stings.'
Scott, 41, and Kourtney, 46, were together for nine years and never married. They co-parent three children - Mason, 15, Penelope, 12, and Reign, 10.
Their rollercoaster relationship started after they met at Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis' house in 2006, and they split up for good not long after he was spotted canoodling with stylist Chloe Bartoli in the South of France in 2015. The exes moved on with other people after their separation, with Kourtney linked to Justin Bieber, Luka Sabbat, and Younes Bendjima, but her romance with Travis truly seemed to get under Scott's skin.
Kourtney started dating Travis in 2020 after a decade of friendship with the Blink-182 drummer. They went Instagram official just after Valentine's Day 2021 and got engaged that October during a wildly romantic trip to Montecito.
'Scott's entire life was built around Kourtney, and to an extent it still is,' the source said. 'Seeing Kourtney with Travis will always sting a little, but Scott is not able to change anything, and he knows that.'
The consummate bachelor is forced to see his ex with her new husband as they co-parent and film their Hulu reality show together.
'His concern now is for their children,' the source continued. 'He looks at the reality show as a job. He gets paid a massive amount of money to play the role of a family member.'
For the time being he has no plans to date, mostly because he fears women want him for his fame.
'Scott is done looking for love,' the insider said. 'If it happens in his life it will come as a complete shock to him.
'He has women who throw themselves at him, but being famous has come at a cost, as it's hard to know who wants him for him, or for his fame.
'He has casual partners, but he won't be putting a ring on any woman's finger.'
The reality star opened up about his love life back in January during an appearance on Khloe Kardashian's Khloe in Wonder Land podcast.
'My last relationship was good, but we were in different places, in different times in our lives,' he said.
He did not name the ex, but he has been publicly linked to model Bella Banos, 28, former Disney star Bella Thorne, 27, and his long-term girlfriend Sofia Richie, 26.
Scott, who was 16 years her senior, dated Sofia for three years, from September 2017 to August 2020.
'We know I tend to date a little younger than I should,' Scott divulged during the podcast.
After Khloe asked if he planned on continuing to date much younger women, he said: 'No, I can't.'

Nicola Peltz's billionaire dad launched 'foul outburst at guest' at Brooklyn Beckham wedding

Nicola Peltz's father, Nelson Peltz, allegedly had an outburst during her wedding to Brooklyn Beckham which reportedly left the Beckham family shocked. Nicola Peltz's billionaire dad, Nelson, allegedly had an 'utterly foul outburst' at a guest during her 2022 wedding to Brooklyn Beckham, leaving David and Victoria Beckham reportedly horrified. According to insiders, Nelson became enraged when a guest used a toilet inside his £76 million Florida mansion instead of one of the portable toilets set up in the marquees on his grounds. While tension between the Beckhams and Brooklyn and Nicola have surfaced more recently, sources suggest the strain began around the time of the wedding, the Mirror reports. ‌ Following the lavish Florida ceremony, Nicola claimed her mother-in-law, Victoria, offered to design her wedding dress but then ignored her for days - ultimately backing out and saying her fashion studio couldn't actually make the gown, leaving Nicola scrambling at the last minute. ‌ The actress ended up wearing a stunning couture Valentino dress when she and Brooklyn married three years ago. However, she claims the initial plan was for her to wear a gown designed by Brooklyn's mum Victoria. New claims have emerged about the drama surrounding Brooklyn and Nicola's lavish wedding, with reports suggesting Brooklyn is 'making it clear that the Peltzes are his priority'. Commenting on Nelson's reported outburst, an insider told MailOnline: "The whole Beckham family found Nelson utterly foul at the wedding. They didn't particularly like him before but they really didn't afterwards." According to the source, despite there being "an atmosphere," the Beckham family were "having a lovely time enjoying their son's big day." ‌ The former aspiring photographer is also said to be "aware of the strained relations between his parents and Nelson." A source close to Brooklyn pushed back against the claims, telling the Mirror:"It's sad that Brooklyn's family's public relations machine remains in overdrive, unnecessarily churning out almost daily, one sided, negative and baseless attacks on their son and daughter in law and expecting that would be no consequences to the relationship." ‌ This comes after Brooklyn paid tribute to his socialite father-in-law, Nelson, with a simple birthday message on social media. Brooklyn has been at the centre of a family feud with the Beckhams, noticeably skipping several key family events. Fans were quick to notice how the 26-year-old was absent from mum Victoria's 51st birthday and also missed his dad David's milestone 50th birthday celebrations in both London and Paris. The star also failed to publicly acknowledge his father's recent knighthood in the King's Birthday Honours List this month. However, Brooklyn continues to share affectionate tribute to his wife, Nicola, on social media. In one recent post, he wrote that he would "always choose her." On her dad's birthday, he even took to his Instagram stories to share a photo of himself, Nicola and Nelson posing together for the camera as he wished him a happy birthday. Along with the simple caption: "Happy birthday, Nelson, we love you."

Will AI eat the advertising industry?

Mark Zuckerberg recently shook the advertising world with Meta's plans to allow brands to use AI to generate targeted advertisements on Facebook and Instagram. Importantly, no ad agency would be involved in the process. So is the writing on the wall for the traditional advertising industry? Will the next viral video campaign or earworm jingle be the brainchild of a computer, rather than the fabled advertising creatives celebrated in the TV show Mad Men? And if so, what lessons are there for other creative industries? Hosts: Ethan Wu and Mike Bird. Guests: Sir Martin Sorrell, founder of WPP and S4Capital; Brian Wieser, CEO of Madison and Wall; and The Economist's media editor Tom Wainwright.
