LolOverruled accused of sexual harassment and threats, issues then withdraws public apology
The accusations surfaced after X user Hana Kanata claimed Peter had been labelled a 'sex pest and serial abuser' by several individuals.
LolOverruled is being called out by some in Hasan's community for allegedly being inappropriate to and about women
He had recently privated his Twitter, stating he's 'not ready to talk about it all yet' and currently in the midst of an 'intensive outpatient therapy program' pic.twitter.com/BygfoWyQvv — yeet (@Awk20000) July 28, 2025
The online personality, who gained recognition for political commentary and appearances alongside Hasan Piker, has been accused of sending unsolicited messages, threatening women, and sharing explicit videos in private conversations.
One woman, Marina, stated that Peter once claimed he could 'ruin her life' because others 'liked' him more, while another, Jessica Starling, shared that he had sent an explicit video of himself during a message exchange.
Starling, a sex worker, described the act as an example of 'sex pest behaviour,' criticising the influencer for exploiting his online platform.
Peter later posted a statement taking 'full responsibility for making people uncomfortable,' admitting to sending unsolicited messages and behaving inappropriately, though he denied more severe claims. He has since deleted his apology and made his account private, stating that he is participating in an 'intensive outpatient therapy program.'

The controversy has prompted further discussion after Piker addressed it on Twitch. He stated, 'That's, like, straight-forward creep shit. Okay? If that's what you guys are referencing as drama, you're a psycho. This dude, apparently, was all up-and-down, being a f**king pest, and it's completely unacceptable.'

Zentreya becomes most-watched English VTuber in Q2 2025, overtakes Ironmouse with subathon boost
Zentreya has claimed the top spot as the most-watched English-speaking VTuber of Q2 2025, according to new data published by Streamscharts. The Twitch streamer reached 4.72 million hours watched, edging past Hololive EN's Koseki Bijou and former leader Ironmouse. Zentreya's rise follows the success of her first-ever subathon in June, which significantly increased her viewer engagement and total watchtime. This surge helped her surpass both Bijou, who recorded 4.54 million hours watched, and Ironmouse, who reached 4.53 million hours during the quarter. Ironmouse led the rankings in Q1 with 5.37 million hours but experienced a drop in Q2, allowing Zentreya to secure the top position. Other creators in the English top five include Mori Calliope and Shylily, who reported 2.7 million and 2.42 million hours watched respectively. In the global VTuber landscape, Japanese talents continue to dominate. Sakura Miko took the number one spot worldwide with more than 12 million hours watched, maintaining an average viewership of 30,000. Kuzuha followed closely, logging the most streamed hours among the global top ten. The data also indicates a growing trend towards multistreaming across platforms. Although YouTube still commands the largest share of VTuber viewership, Twitch is gaining ground, with over 60% of active VTuber channels now streaming on the platform.

'Better Late Than Single' fans call for kinder treatment after season finale sparks backlash
Fans of the Netflix dating series Better Late Than Single have voiced concern about online hostility towards cast members following the season finale. Despite wrap-up satisfaction with the show's conclusion, many viewers have criticised the intense scrutiny and backlash directed at individuals, especially following the final decision between Yi Do, Ha Jeong‑mok and Park Ji‑yeon. The show, featuring first-time daters undergoing makeovers, challenges and connection-building at a resort, concluded with Jeong‑mok choosing Ji‑yeon over Do—a development that left Do visibly upset. Some believe editing amplified her emotional state, with one viewer remarking scenes depicting Do sitting tearfully on a rooftop swing felt excessively staged. Online, several viewers called out the disproportionate criticism faced by the cast. One post on X urged empathy: 'It's fair for someone to want a partner who matches lifestyle or values... but let's not bully him.' On Reddit, another fan shared frustration, writing: 'I'm genuinely shocked at the HATE Jeong‑mok and Ji‑yeon are getting! These people have never dated—this was their first experience.' Many fans appealed for more compassionate discourse and requested future seasons present a broader perspective. Among anticipations for Season 2 are expectations for longer interaction periods so introverted cast members can open up, as well as more guidance from mentors and personality-led activities. Requests for increased screen time for quieter participants like Seung‑chan and Mi‑ji also featured prominently. Some expressed wishes for reunion or BTS episodes to better understand interpersonal dynamics. One fan stated they'd loved to see more moments between Jae‑yun and Min‑hong, praising her kindness and his growing confidence. As Netflix considers renewal, the passionate viewer response highlights that while the show resonated with many, audiences hope for greater sensitivity in both production and online reactions in future seasons.

Sharon Osbourne honours Ozzy with personal tribute during funeral procession in Birmingham
Sharon Osbourne paid tribute to her late husband Ozzy Osbourne by wearing a meaningful piece of jewellery during his funeral procession in Birmingham, England. The ceremony, held on Wednesday, drew large crowds and close family, including the couple's three children and members of Black Sabbath. Photos taken during the procession show Sharon visibly emotional as she was accompanied by her children, with many fans noticing a gold necklace bearing a diamond-covered ring. According to one fan's post on X, formerly Twitter, the ring was Ozzy's wedding band from their 2017 vow renewal. He reportedly wore it alongside his original wedding ring from their 1982 ceremony. 'Ozzy's ring was on a chain around her neck,' the fan explained. 'It's the one from their renewal – he used to wear both that and his original wedding band.' One fan wrote: 'She stood by him through everything. This is a heartbreaking and touching tribute.' Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away on July 22 at the age of 76, had battled various health conditions in recent years, including a Parkinson's diagnosis. His death prompted tributes across the music industry, with fellow musicians and fans honouring his legacy in heavy metal and beyond. Sharon and Ozzy were married for 42 years. Their relationship began in the late 1970s while Sharon's father managed Black Sabbath. She later became Ozzy's manager, and the couple married in 1982. Despite periods of personal struggle, they remained together and raised three children—Aimee, Kelly and Jack. The procession through Birmingham passed significant landmarks, including the Black Sabbath bridge, where fans had left tributes. Sharon's gesture, wearing Ozzy's ring, was seen by many online as a symbol of enduring love.
