Murderer Behind The Mask Prime Video, streaming now
True crime isn't just the purview of Netflix, you know, and this Prime Video offering about Elaine O'Hara and Graham Dwyer hits particularly close to home. It highlights how An Garda Síochana meticulously pieced together the truth, turning an overlooked case into one of Ireland's most haunting murder trials. Back in September 2013, the remains of childcare worker O'Hara were discovered in the Dublin mountains. Initially believed to be a suicide, her case took a twisted tangent when fishermen stumbled upon crucial evidence leading to Dwyer, a respected architect who lived in Foxrock with his wife and kids. Beneath his carefully crafted facade lurked a secret life fuelled by a dark stabbing obsession, revealed through his disturbing text exchanges with O'Hara. Over the course of two 45-minute installments, this Wag Entertainment-produced series purports to uncover how the investigation unfolded and the tragic story behind Elaine's murder.
The Waterfront Netflix, streaming now
From the makers of Dawson's Creek and Scream, we have this deliciously ridiculous number inspired by true events. It centres on the Buckley family, who have ruled Havenport, North Carolina, for decades. Now, with their patriarch, Harlan (Holt McCallany), recovering from multiple heart attacks (not helped by his predilection for impromptu punching sessions with his son), they resort to drug smuggling courtesy of a surprising face (belonging to Topher Grace). For more glossy, far-fetched US drama, season three of Manifest is now streaming.
The Buccaneers AppleTV+, streaming now
Apple's answer to Bridgerton (but with bonus Americans) is here with its second season.
Exploring the events leading up to the 2017 Grenfell Tower fire, this heart-rendering documentary reveals decisions by businesses and government that contributed to the tragedy.
Somebody Feed Phil Netflix, streaming now
This time, Phil visits Amsterdam, Tbilisi, Sydney, Adelaide, Manila, Vegas, Guatemala, San Sebastián and Boston, while enjoying a spot of bone gnawing with Ray Romano and Brad Garrett along the way.
The Many Deaths of Nora Dalmasso Netflix, streaming now
She wasn't rich, famous, or part of the swinger set. Rather 'a symbol of what happens to those who stray from the patriarchal mould'. In other unsolved murder documentaries on Netflix, we have I'm Your Venus.

The 7 shows vanishing from your TV screens in just DAYS after major overhaul – binge them before they're gone

SEVEN popular shows are vanishing from Netflix in a matter of days – so if they're on your list, now's the time to start watching. Viewers in the UK will lose access to the titles on Monday, July 1, as Netflix prepares for a major shake-up to both its content and interface. 2 These removals are largely due to expiring licensing deals and content rotations that happen behind the scenes Credit: Getty The changes come as part of a larger overhaul that's already seen a wave of titles removed in recent months, and July looks set to be one of the busiest yet. Among the shows leaving are Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Loudermilk (Seasons 1 to 3), and the anime series Overlord (Seasons 1 to 4). Also departing is the children's favourite Rabbids Invasion (Season 4), Rubble & Crew (Season 1), and the classic magical girl reboot Sailor Moon Crystal (Seasons 1 to 3). Fans of nostalgic family dramas will also lose The Wonder Years (Seasons 1 to 2), which is being pulled as part of a broader Disney Television removal. Read moer on Technology These removals are largely due to expiring licensing deals and content rotations that happen behind the scenes. But there's more to it this time – with a brand new Netflix home screen redesign just around the corner. The streaming giant is launching its first major redesign for TVs in 12 years. Dubbed 'Eclipse' inside the company, the new interface promises a sleeker, simpler experience that encourages viewers to press play faster and discover content more easily. Most read in News TV The layout will shift the main navigation bar to the top of the screen and reduce the number of visible titles at once, focusing instead on bigger images, more dynamic previews and video clips that auto-play after just a few seconds. 'The real goal of this is, how do we make it easier, how do we make it simpler, faster for you to make a great decision?' said Greg Peters, co-CEO of Netflix. One of the most notable features is 'responsive recommendations.' These will tailor suggestions almost instantly, based on what users are actively searching for. So if a viewer looks up thrillers or family films, their home screen will begin updating in real time to show more titles in that category – a big improvement from the previous system, which could take up to a day to refresh. Eunice Kim, the company's chief product officer, said the redesign is meant to serve both types of viewers: those who know exactly what they want, and those who don't. 'The way that the old home page is built, you kind of see box art, box art, box art, box art,' she said. 'It's kind of suboptimal, right?' The new layout aims to slow viewers down just enough to take notice of what's on offer, with titles now showing labels like 'highly rewatched,' '13 weeks in Top 10,' or 'Oscar nominee.' The changes also aim to make live content more prominent – like football games or special events – by showing live animation and movement directly on the home screen. July will also see the departure of several films, including The Equalizer 3 starring Later in the month, the comedy Dumb Money will exit the platform as well. Overall, at least nine Netflix Originals are scheduled to depart in July, with more likely to follow throughout the year – joining the 250+ titles already gone. Netflix's redesign could have ripple effects across the industry. For years, rival streamers like Disney+, Prime Video, and Max have taken cues from Netflix's interface. With Netflix now breaking from the row-upon-row layout, others may soon follow suit. 2 The changes come as part of a larger overhaul Credit: Getty

Joanne McNally reveals she was scammed out of Glastonbury tickets - and how to avoid similar fate

Joanne McNally has revealed that she and others were scammed out of thousands of pounds when they tried to buy Glastonbury tickets, that turned out to be fake. Thousands of music lovers are heading to Worthy Farm in Somerset for the biggest festival of the year, with Joanne saying that she used a concierge service to try to get the tickets. However, the 'concierge' bounced after receiving the money from both Joanne and 49 others, disappearing 'to Spain' and leaving the fans out of pocket. 'Glastonbury update. The guy I bought a ticket off said it'd be there by 6. 'If it's not there by 6 ring me,' Joanne told her Instagram. 'No sign of the ticket. We're ringing him, we're blocked. He is gone. The money is gone. There is no ticket. We were robbed. And obviously it wasn't cheap because it was Glastonbury and it's a once in a lifetime experience.' Thousands of music lovers are heading to Worthy Farm in Somerset for the biggest festival of the year. Pic:'It's so weird because some people did get their tickets off him. A load of us didn't get our tickets from him, apparently it's like 50 of us. So he took a couple of grand off 50 people and he's now in Spain or something.' Despite the scam, Joanne managed to get sorted with a ticket — telling her followers that she was updating them from a festival toilet 'which could only mean one thing — I got a ticket. The festival gods have been good to me. 'I can access my teepee, which was going to sit there vacant for the whole weekend… so see you at Glastonbury!' Joanne McNally has revealed that she and others were scammed out of thousands of pounds when they tried to buy bogus Glastonbury tickets. Pic: Brian J Ritchie/Hotsauce/REX/Shutterstock Alas, where there's demand for concerts there are always going to be a few chancers who will sell 'tickets' to the gig you're desperate to go to, only to have blocked your number and fled the country with your money. And while touting has been outlawed in Ireland, some people can still get burned, with Ticketmaster releasing advice on how to not get scammed. ONLY BUY FROM OFFICIAL SOURCES: Glastonbury takes place this week. Pic: Samir Hussein/WireImage With any event, there will definitely be scammers who will try and chance their arm and get your money. Ticketing agents such as Ticketmaster are where most concert tickets will be sold, but checking out the artist you're hoping to see's website where they'll tell you where to buy the tickets. It's also advised that you avoid buying tickets from individuals on social media or unofficial platforms. DON'T BUY BEFORE THE TICKETS GO ON SALE: While promoters and mobile networks will have special pre-sales in the 24-48 hours before the general ticket sale, some people may also try and say that they have tickets for sale. Going through promoters such as MCD, or through 3 if the gig is in the 3Arena/3Olympia, where they host regular pre-sales, will be safe though. ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK YOUR URL: When buying tickets online such as via Ticketmaster, it's becoming easier to clone sites — websites that look like Ticketmaster, but not actually Ticketmaster. It's important to use the ticket merchants' official website, or official apps such as Ticketmaster's, Eventbrite's, etc. BE WARY OF PRINTED TICKETS While some people may yearn for the glory days of printed tickets, mobile tickets (while less cool) are safer, as scammers can distribute copies of the same tickets to unsuspecting victims if they're printed. The unique barcodes on the Ticketmaster mobile tickets refresh every 15 seconds, which help prevent theft/copies and keep your tickets safe.
