This will conclude the Devils' end-of-season media availability. The players conducted their exit interviews on May 1st, which can be viewed on the team's official website.
Due to family reasons, I won't be able to attend in person, but I'll still provide coverage. Follow along for all the updates with our live blog at The Hockey News, and join the conversation by commenting below.
- When asked about his team's performance after the Christmas break, Keefe said his team showed an inability to sustain their game.
- Keefe felt his team had an average season: "We finished 16th out of 32 teams. That is average, and we are not here to be average."
- Fitzgerald shares that the Devils won't be coming back next season with the same group because it wasn't good enough.
- Fitzgerald said he will speak with goaltender Jake Allen's agent this summer. Allen is a pending unrestricted free agent.
- Fitzgerald confirms defenseman Johnathan Kovacevic had successful surgery today. He confirmed the 27-year-old will not be ready for the start of the 2025-26 season.

Nebraska lands commitment from offensive tackle Rex Waterman

Nebraska lands commitment from offensive tackle Rex Waterman Nebraska football landed a commitment on Tuesday from class of 2026 three-star offensive tackle Rex Waterman. He made the announcement on social media Tuesday afternoon. He is the 103rd overall offensive tackle in the 2026 class and the 21st overall player in his class from the state of Arizona, according to the On3 industry rankings. Waterman has made three visits to Lincoln in the past year. He took his first unofficial visit to the program on February 1, and then followed that up with a visit on April 5. He took an official visit this past weekend, in what was a busy weekend for the program. The Arizona native measures in at six feet five, 295 pounds. This is a solid addition for the Huskers' 2026 class that should see some movement over the next couple of weeks. The class itself ranks 60th overall in the country with five commitments, per On3 Rankings. Waterman is a prospect who could fly under the radar and become a dependable piece of the offensive line in the future. Phoenix Suns' Devin Booker survives Flagstaff 'ambush' by kids, praised for act of kindness

Devin Booker seems to always find time for young fans. Even when golfing. An Instagram post is circulating of the Phoenix Suns star recently stopping in a golf cart in Flagstaff to give some young fans some attention, many of whom were wearing his jersey. Advertisement The video included the caption: "So this happened yesterday……. I got to watch these kiddos meet their idol, a moment that just sticks with you. The pure joy on their faces was like actual magic!! "And Devin… what a class act. He was so kind, patient he's an absolute gem of a human. Also, sorry for the mid-golf ambush Boook." This isn't the first time Booker has made some children's day (or year) with an act of kindness. In April, he bought golf balls from some children in Flagstaff, apparently working on his golf game some more in the cooler weather. And just a day prior to that, he stopped to purchase lemonade at some children's lemonade stand in the Valley. No wonder Booker is loved in Phoenix. Devin Booker continues to take time for the community. Reach Jeremy Cluff at Follow him on X, formerly Twitter @Jeremy_Cluff. Advertisement Support local journalism: Subscribe to today. Auburn's tag team of Jackson Arnold and Cam Coleman could be lethal in 2025

Auburn's tag team of Jackson Arnold and Cam Coleman could be lethal in 2025 Will the duo of Arnold and Coleman stun college football fans this season? Stan and Frank. Jason and Courtney. Bo and Seth. Those are just a few of the few great quarterback and wide receiver duos to come through Auburn since the 1990s. Will the next great Tiger tag team emerge in 2025? Brad Crawford of 247Sports recently compiled a list of the top quarterback/wide receiver duos that are poised for stellar seasons in 2025, and Auburn's 1-2 punch of Jackson Arnold and Cam Coleman made the cut. Arnold placed the duo at No. 2 in his rankings citing uncertainty due to this being the first year that they are paired. However, the potential that Coleman showed last season, as well as the hype surrounding the "fresh start" that Arnold will receive at Auburn, could put Auburn back on the map this season writes Crawford. One of the only wild-card picks in the top 10, Hugh Freeze must get elite-level play out of Oklahoma transfer quarterback Jackson Arnold this season if Auburn expects to be one of the nation's most-improved teams. That means plenty of targets and opportunities for returning wideout Cam Coleman, who had no issues destroying opposing SEC secondaries last fall as a five-star true freshman. He should face more single coverage in 2025 after the Tigers signed top portal pass-catchers Eric Singleton Jr. and Horatio Fields to expand the room on The Plains. Coleman logged 37 catches for 597 yards and eight scores as a freshman in 2024, with a bulk of that production coming over the final three games, where he logged two 100-yard games. Arnold passed for 1,421 yards and 12 touchdowns at Oklahoma in a season where he experienced inconsistent play time. This season, he has a great receiving unit in Coleman, Eric Singleton, Malcolm Simmons, and Horatio Fields to pass to, which could launch him into a comeback campaign and lead Auburn into College Football Playoff contention.
