In a detailed description on how the booth level workers and youth , who directly work for the party, at the grassroot levels, were tortured and harassed, Adhikari said, 'After 2021 polls, one lakh BJP workers became homeless while 57 BJP activists became martyrs. It was due to the impact of post-poll violence which followed the 2021 assembly polls.'
However, the organizational network was rebuilt after that in the last several months. 'BJP's primary membership drive was done with photos of the candidates and all electronic data,' Adhikari pointed out.

Guiding the party workers about the state-wide outreach, Adhikari said, 'The party's work and activities should not be Kolkata-centric. It should spread from Digha to Darjeeling. Common people should be part of it. Local level workers and party activists should be more active. Hindu population should be part of the drive,' Suvendu Adhiakri said.
Adhikari said that Malda, Murshidabad to Maheshtala, women's safety has been at stake. "Women's safety is at stake in Bengal and women and daughter's safety is at stake," Adhikari said.
Adhikari gave a call to oust the
Mamata Banerjee government
and said in last elections 68% Hindus voted for BJP and it should be increased to 80 percent.
'We have formed governments in Maharashtra, Haryana, Rajasthan and kept our promises in those states. We will keep such promises if voted to power in this state,' Adhikari said, adding that BJP had lost 12 seats due to cross voting by the CPI-M in 2024.

GUWAHATI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Mann Ki Baat' programme at a Tripura village turned violent on Sunday, when an alleged group of Tipra Motha Party (TMP) 'goons' attacked BJP workers, leaving at least seven of them injured. Six BJP workers injured in alleged TIPRA Motha attack in Tripura
At least six Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers sustained injuries when activists of the Tipra Motha party allegedly attacked a BJP office during the Prime Minister's Mann Ki Baat radio programme at Asharambari in Khowai district on Sunday (July 27, 2025). Tipra Motha leader and Forest Minister Animesh Debbarma, who returned from New Delhi on Sunday (July 27, 2025), denied his party's involvement in the incident. Local BJP leaders claimed that over 50 Tipra Motha members, armed with sticks and sharp-cutting weapons, attacked the party's Mandal office and assaulted BJP cadres. Two cars and five motorcycles were reportedly damaged in the attack. The BJP office was also vandalised during the incident. Police said an investigation has been initiated but no arrests have been made so far. Asharambari is a tribal Assembly constituency where the Tipra Motha has a significant presence. BJP State president and Rajya Sabha MP Rajiv Bhattacharjee condemned the incident. Leader of the Opposition and CPI(M) State secretary Jitendra Chowdhury also criticised the Tipra Motha for the alleged attack. Clashes between BJP and Tipra Motha supporters have become frequent in interior areas of the State, particularly over organisational expansion. Several persons were injured in recent clashes in the Charilam and Takarjala areas.

No merger of BRS with any party, asserts KTR
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) ruled out the BRS merging with any political party and said it would remain relevant to Telangana politics till the State exists. 'We have no reason to merge with anyone, and we will remain in public service as long as we have the people's blessings,' he said, arguing that the BRS was the only party that was rooted in the spirit of Telangana. He made these remarks while addressing a meeting of the Bhupalapally district party workers. His assertion came at a time when the BRS is cornered over allegations that there were efforts to merge it with the BJP. This gained credence after BJP MP C.M. Ramesh claimed that KTR personally visited him at his residence with the proposals. 'I have the evidence to prove it,' he claimed. As the BRS workers were caught in a dilemma, KTR categorically dismissed any such possibility and said this was a ploy to play with the sentiments of the party workers. He further said that people were now waiting for the Congress government to go, so that K. Chandrasekhar Rao could lead the State again. Mr. Rama Rao claimed that the Congress government's incompetence had pushed the State into chaos. 'A single wrong vote has pushed Telangana into danger. It is now up to the people to correct that mistake,' he argued, appealing to the Backward Classes, farmers, and women to reject the Congress in the upcoming local body elections. The former Minister said power was never permanent. What mattered was whether the poll promises were kept and history will remember who contributed to Telangana's development. 'Telangana's development and welfare could only continue if KCR returns as Chief Minister.' Further attacking Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for 'betraying' the Backward Classes (BCs) he said the promise of allocating ₹ 20,000 crore per year for BC welfare in the Kamareddy Declaration was not kept. And the Congress has no right to seek their votes.
