At the start of 2025, Cena began his farewell tour, which will see the end of a two-decade-long career in the ring.

He fired back at the fans for their mistreatment of him for years and vowed to ruin wrestling on the last leg of his in-ring career. Despite being drunk in power and holding the Undisputed WWE title in his grasp, here are three reasons why Cena would not be able to succeed in his plan:
3. John Cena's physical shape will meet its match
John Cena himself has admitted that he is no longer in the prime physical shape that he once was, which has been a huge reason for him taking the decision to retire this year.
Despite using underhanded tactics to win matches in recent memory, there might come a time when Cena meets his match, who would use his superior shape to counter Cena's moves and possibly dethrone him for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
2. Cena has been showing signs of babyface
While John Cena has gone into full heel mode, there have been recent events that showed signs of Cena reverting back to a baby face in the coming months. One was him getting teared up after his last match against his iconic rival, Randy Orton, at the 2025 WWE Backlash PLE.

A live concert is all about being present in the moment, it's instant gratification. There's no room for errors or any possibility of rectifying it. The highs of a live show are incomparable. Pre-concert ritual is a vocal warm-up, breathing exercises, some stretches or cardio if I have the time or energy, and a small prayer of gratitude to the universe, and a prayer to keep everyone on stage safe. You've performed everywhere, from weddings to major festivals. Is there a performance that has stayed with you creatively or emotionally? There isn't one single venue or event. Each one brings its own set of challenges and wins.
