Liam Gallagher's son Lennon shuns Oasis Croke Park gigs as he parties with girlfriend
Liam Gallagher's son decided against seeing Oasis in Manchester – despite his brother being there. Lennon, 25, instead, decided to head to a celebrity party in Ibiza with his girlfriend, Izzy Richmond.
Since the Oasis tour kicked off in Cardiff last month, Lennon has attended a string of shows alongside his brother Gene, 25, and his cousin, Anaïs, the daughter of Noel and Meg Mathews. But as the almighty band returned to Ireland for the first time in 16 years, it was just Gene and Anaïs who had travelled over.
Instead, model and musician Lennon headed over to Ibiza and attended a swanky party with Izzy, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Top Boy star Jasmine Jobson. Lennon and Izzy looked more loved-up than ever as they enjoyed the scorching weather on the famous party island. It comes after Noel's daughter Anaïs shared an eight-word message to Oasis fans in Dublin.
The pair headed to the opening night of Boiler Room on the White Isle, hosted by Las Cicadas Ibiza, courtesy of PATRÓN Tequila, before heading to the mega club, Ushuaia. The couple danced the night away at the event, headlined by Grammy Award-winning star Nathy Peluso.
Prior to the tour launching, Lennon struggled to contain his excitement. He said: "You know, we all cannot wait. It's going to be fantastic." However, he wasn't too fussed on rehearsals and admitted he was letting his dad focus on the work. "Nah, I'm just letting him get on with that. I'll see it for the real thing when it starts," he said.
The musician whose band Automotive recently split also hinted that he'd love to join his dad and uncle on stage in the future, alongside his brother Gene, who fronts the band Villanelle. He told the Associated Press: "Yeah, I mean, it'll be really fun one day for me and my brother, my dad and my uncle to be on-stage, I think that'd be quite funny."
Although Lennon didn't attend Croke Park, it was a special night for his gran, Peggy, who saw her two sons perform together for the first time on the tour. As the band performed Stand By Me, Liam could be heard saying: "This one I want to dedicate to my mum, my mum is here tonight." There were big cheers from the fans at Croke Park in response.
Liam also dedicated Roll With It to the people of Charlestown, Co Mayo – where his mother hails from. Mid-song, he also turned to the upper tiers where she was expected to have been sitting and blew kisses as he mouthed: "I love you."
Peggy, 92, who still lives in the Burnage home where Noel and Liam grew up, had avoided the all-standing shows in Manchester, so she could enjoy watching her boys while relaxing in a VIP box in her home country.
In an interview in June, Peggy was asked if she had anything to do with the reunion between Noel and Liam. She said: "I was the instigator, yes. But sure, wasn't it always going to happen at some time or other? It was their choice, of course. Look, you can't force them to do things they don't want to do." She confessed she was relieved to see her sons working together again, following a years-long rift between the two.
"It's great, because nobody wants their kids falling out, do they?" she said, although she admitted to being nervous about the shows and would be "glad when it's all just over because it makes me get too stressed."

Mirren and Brosnan are not the first to push back on the idea of Bond being played by a woman, with the sentiment echoed by Brosnan's Die Another Day costar, Halle Berry. "In 2025, it's nice to say, 'Oh, she should be a woman.' But, I don't really know if I think that's the right thing to do," she said, speaking at Cannes Film Festival in May.
