Hotel prices shot up in Dublin for Oasis - but it's still cheapest spot on tour
With the Mancunian icons set to play two nights at Dublin's Croke Park on August 16 and 17, new research from Grosvenor Casinos shows that the Irish capital is the cheapest stop on the reunion tour, but fans will still be paying more than usual for a place to stay.
Hotel prices in Dublin have risen by 70 per cent for the concert dates, the second-smallest increase after London, with the average room costing €413 per night, up from €243 just three weeks later.
When tickets first went on sale, searches for "hotels near Croke Park" and related terms peaked at 243,600 in August 2024, reflecting the surge in demand.
But it wasn't just Dublin, accommodation costs across five major cities hosting the Oasis 2025 tour have soared, with some prices rising by over 450 per cent on concert night compared to exactly three weeks later.
Manchester records the most extreme price hike, with hotel costs increasing by 454 per cent, from €88 on a typical night to €488 during the tour – a total rise of €400.
Interest in the area also spikes, with Google searches for "cheap hotel near Heaton Park" rising by 1,300 per cent over the past 12 months. In August, when tickets were originally released, search volume peaked at 113k across this and related terms such as "places to stay near Heaton park" and "Heaton park hotels". Cardiff follows closely behind, with prices surging by 420 per cent, from €131 to €682, an increase of €551, making it the most expensive city overall to stay in on concert night.
Google searches for "Cardiff hotel rooms" jumped by 13,355 per cent over the past year, with fans eager to secure accommodation for the opening weekend of the tour. Related search terms for "Cardiff Oasis tickets" also rose by over 50 per cent in June compared to May, increasing from 35,100 to 53,160.
Dublin sees a notable increase, with hotel costs rising from €244 to €413. This is a 70 per cent increase (€169). In August, keywords such as "hotels near Croke Park" and similar terms peaked at 243,600 searches. Edinburgh experienced an 88 per cent hotel price hike, with costs rising from €266 to €499, a difference of €233. Searches for 'hotels near Scottish Gas Murrayfield' reached 80,420 in August, aligning with the ticket launch.
London sees the smallest price spike, with hotel prices rising by 22 per cent, from €501 to €611, an increase of €110. However, demand still grows, with Google searches for "hotels in Wembley Stadium area" rising by 200 per cent year-on-year. Searches peak in September at 101,980, a month after the ticket release.
Tickets for the Oasis reunion sold out across all venues due to huge demand when they went online earlier in the year. However, there are still several options available for fans trying to snag a last-minute spot. Limited last-minute tickets can be bought from the official Ticketmaster resale site, where fans who can no longer go sell their seats, although these tend to go into and out of stock quickly. Elsewhere, resale sites like Viagogo, Vivid Seats, StubHub and Twickets are selling tickets for various dates, although fans should always bear in mind that many official sites, such as Ticketmaster and Live Nation, discourage the purchase of resale tickets.
Meanwhile Seat Unique has some VIP tickets available offering a host of additional perks alongside access to the gig.

Young boy's dreams come true after special encounter with Noel Gallagher in Maynooth
Eight-year-old Conor Healy had a night to remember on Friday when his dreams came true - all thanks to a chance meeting with Oasis legend Noel Gallagher. Conor and his dad Ronan were at Brady's Clockhouse pub in Maynooth when they spotted the iconic musician enjoying a quiet drink with friends ahead of his sold-out shows at Croke Park this weekend. "We were just going in for a pint and looked over - and there he was, sitting there," Ronan recalled. "I don't even think the people outside - there were about 100 of them - had any idea he was inside. He was just sitting at the old bar, having a pint with a couple of his mates." When Conor asked if he could take a photo with the musician, Gallagher promised he would pose for one on his way out - and he kept his word. "My little fella asked for a photo, and Noel said he'd take one on his way out - and he stuck to his promise! As soon as he came out, he went looking for Conor, put his arms around him, and held on to him the whole time while people were trying to get photos," Ronan said. The proud dad joked that Conor is now a permanent part of the evening's memories. "Any photo anyone took of Noel tonight in Maynooth - Conor's in it too," he laughed. Ronan said the encounter felt like "two birthdays in one" for his son, who's not only a massive Oasis fan but also a devoted Manchester City supporter - just like Gallagher. "He's still high as a kite," Ronan said. "He's a big Man City fan as well as being mad into Oasis, and Noel being a City fan too - that just sealed it for him. It was like two birthdays rolled into one." Unfortunately, the pair weren't able to get tickets for Gallagher's sold-out shows at Croke Park this Saturday and Sunday. "We tried, but just weren't lucky. I was obviously going to bring Conor," Ronan said. But something tells us this won't be the last we hear of young Conor - especially since he's recently learned to play Wonderwall on the guitar. "He only picked it up in the last few weeks," Ronan added.

Noel Gallagher spotted socialising in Maynooth pub ahead of Oasis Croke Park gigs
He was spotted socialising this evening in Brady's Clockhouse pub in Maynooth, Co Kildare. Dressed in black and sporting shades, the 58-year-old was swamped by well-wishers as he was escorted into the bar by bodyguards. He later sat at a table with a number of associates, but it's unclear if he had any pints or just stuck to water or soft drinks in the lead up to the band's two gigs this weekend. Noel is staying at the five star Carton House hotel, which is located on the outskirts of Maynooth. Notable guests down through the years at that luxury hotel have included Queen Victoria, Princess Grace and Prince Rainier of Monaco, Julie Andrews, Mick Jagger, Lana Del Rey, Peter Sellers and Marianne Faithfull. Noel flew into Dublin this afternoon, while Liam is expected in the capital tomorrow morning. The Oasis singer is tipped to be staying at the five star Powerscourt Hotel (formerly the Ritz Carlton) in Co Wicklow. Other members of the band flew into Ireland on Wednesday. Rhythm guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs and drummer Joey Waronker went for a swim at Killiney beach yesterday. The guitarist has re-joined Oasis alongside the Gallagher brothers and members Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Joey Waronker for their reunion tour, which continues in Dublin this weekend. It comes as the first images of the stage set-up in Croke Park emerged yesterday. Learn more The group have so far performed 15 nights around England, Wales and Scotland and are currently in Ireland enjoying a four-day gap between their last show of a three-night stopover in Edinburgh and Saturday's Croke Park gig. After their Dublin shows, the band is setting off to Canada, US, and Mexico, before playing at Wembley Stadium in London again on September 27 and 28. They will later head off to Asia, Australia and South America, with the last stop of their Oasis Live '25 tour in Sao Paulo in Brazil on November 22 and 23. After a 16-year hiatus, the Gallagher brothers announced last August they would perform together for the first time since the band's split in 2009. After almost a year-long wait for Irish fans, Oasis will bring their highly anticipated Live 25 tour to Croke Park for two sold-out nights on Saturday and Sunday, August 16 and 17, in front of 160,000 fans. This will be their first gig in Ireland since 2009, when the rock band performed in Slane Castle.
