Magnatech simplifies unused credit management for TMCs

Magnatech enhances OnTrackplus with full NDC ticket status automation across Amadeus, Travelport+, and Sabre, streamlining airline credit tracking for TMCs. Magnatech Travel Management Solutions has announced a significant enhancement to its capabilities, reinforcing its commitment to simplifying airline credit tracking for Travel Management Companies (TMCs). This latest advancement enables seamless automation of processing NDC ticket PNRs booked in the GDS across all three major Global Distribution Systems (GDSs) – Amadeus, Travelport+ (Galileo), and now Sabre. Magnatech has successfully been reading NDC PNRs from all three major GDSs since March 2023. This capability has ensured that GDS NDC bookings have been integrated into all of Magnatech's offerings over the past two years: OnQueue interactive itineraries and invoices, SafeToGo traveller tracking and automated risk messaging, MTWorkflows automated workflows, and OnTrackplus tickets-on-hold tracking and reporting. The recent update focuses on the OnTrackplus platform. Through dedicated innovation and strong partnerships, Magnatech has further streamlined the flight credit tracking process. OnTrackplus requires not only reading the PNR but also determining the ticket status. Previously, automation of flown status identification was limited to Amadeus and Travelport+. The inclusion of Sabre NDC ticket status automation now achieves full ticket status tracking parity across all three major GDSs. This advancement ensures that TMCs can track and manage ticket statuses with unparalleled simplicity, regardless of the GDS booking channel. This is particularly valuable for agencies with multiple GDSs seeking workflow consistency. 'The ability to identify and collect NDC tickets booked in the GDS, combined with automated ticket status tracking across Amadeus, Travelport+, and Sabre, empowers TMCs to deliver greater efficiency and accuracy in credit management, making sure no money is left on the table,' said Paul Gioia, CEO of Magnatech. 'As airlines globally continue to ramp up NDC bookings and GDSs expand NDC ticketing, our solutions ensure TMCs can meet these demands seamlessly.' These enhancements have been made possible through strong and collaborative relationships with Amadeus, Travelport, and Sabre. Magnatech acknowledges the dedication and partnership of these GDSs in achieving this milestone. Their support underscores a shared goal of driving innovation and simplifying operations for TMCs worldwide. Magnatech remains committed to delivering solutions that add measurable value to its clients and support the evolving needs of the travel industry. As the landscape of NDC bookings continues to grow, Magnatech is leading the way with solutions that simplify and streamline complex processes for TMC partners.

Sabre expands NDC reach with Air France and KLM

Sabre's multi-source content platform now features Air France and KLM's NDC offers, giving travel agencies access to exclusive promotions, continuous pricing, and enhanced travel options. SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS – Sabre Corporation, a leading global travel technology company, activated Air France's and KLM's New Distribution Capability (NDC) content in its travel marketplace. Sabre-connected agencies can now access enhanced options, exclusive promotions, and more competitive fares through continuous pricing for both Air France and KLM, enabling them to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving travel retail landscape. NDC is a vital enabler of modern retailing, allowing airlines to create and distribute personalised offers that go beyond traditional static fare structures. Through this collaboration with Sabre, Air France and KLM can provide richer content and more attractive pricing in the indirect channel, while Sabre-connected travel agencies benefit from seamless access to this content via Sabre's Offer and Order APIs, Sabre Red 360, Sabre Red Launchpad, as well as a variety of online booking tools. 'Integrating our NDC content with Sabre marks a key milestone in our distribution strategy,' stated Angus Clarke, EVP and Chief Commercial Officer at Air France-KLM. 'This allows us to provide improved fares with continuous pricing, exclusive promotions, additional extra options, and innovative offers such as Seat and Extra SAF Bundles. Travellers booking via Sabre-connected agencies benefit from superior choices, while our agency partners gain real-time access to our most competitive offers.' Sabre's multi-source content approach integrates NDC alongside traditional options, making it easier for travel sellers to compare and book across different airline retail models. By unifying content sources, agencies can more efficiently manage a broader range of offers without adding complexity to their workflows. 'Air France and KLM's NDC activation reflects the shift towards a modern, more flexible distribution environment,' said Roshan Mendis, EVP and Chief Commercial Officer of Sabre Travel Solutions. 'At Sabre, we are focused on enabling intelligent retailing through multi-source content, ensuring agencies can easily shop, book, and service NDC alongside other content types. This collaboration reinforces our vision for a marketplace where airlines can distribute personalised offers at scale, while agencies remain at the forefront of delivering value to travellers.' This activation forms part of Sabre's ongoing investment in expanding its NDC capabilities to support the entire travel ecosystem. Sabre aggregates, integrates, and normalises ATPCO/EDIFACT, low-cost carrier, and NDC content, providing Sabre-connected agencies with a seamless way to shop, compare, and book offers in a unified workflow. Sabre currently offers access to NDC content from more airlines than any other major global distribution system.
