When Akshaye Khanna called Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ‘very beautiful': ‘Not just from the outside…'
In an interview with Lehren Retro, Akshaye had predicted about 25 years ago, just before the release of their film Taal that Aishwarya will go on to become a 'very fine actress'. He said, 'I have worked with Aishwarya before in Aa Ab Laut Chale. Taal is my second one with her. She is very beautiful.'
The actor added, 'Not just from the outside but also from the inside. She is always smiling and laughing. Always cheerful. I guess she is going to be a very fine actress. She has performed amazingly in Taal.'

This is not the only time Akshaye Khanna praised Aishwarya Rai. In 2017, around the promotions of his film Ittefaq, Akshaye praised the actress when Karan Johar asked him 'Who do you think is the sexiest girl in business right now?' He said, 'Ash (Aishwarya Rai)'. The actor added, 'I can't take my eyes off her every time I meet her. It's embarrassing for men. She must be used to it (people staring at her). But I am not used to not being able to take my eyes off somebody. You just keep staring at her like a lunatic.'
Post Taal, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan went on to star in films like Mohabbatein, Devdas, Umrao Jaan, Dhoom 2, Guru, Jodha Akbar, all of which became iconic films over the years and gained her immense praise from critics and the audience.

It took me eight years to bag a lead role that made a difference: Aishwarya Khare
Aishwarya Khare's journey in the television industry began with roles in shows like 'Yeh Shaadi Hai Ya Saud' and 'Yeh Hai Chahatein,' but she credits 'Bhagya Lakshmi' for her breakthrough. She started with shows like Yeh Shaadi Hai Ya Saud, Yeh Hai Chahatein, where she played interesting characters. But Aishwarya Khare says her role in Bhagya Lakshmi made all the difference in her career. Talking about her journey to Mumbai Mirror, she says, 'It took me a long time to reach where I am today. Not that I had to struggle a lot, but I did have to put in a lot of hard work. I made it on my own, and I am happy about that. I didn't know anyone in this industry, and so couldn't turn towards anyone for help.' Aishwarya began acting while she was still in college. 'There were attendance issues,' she recalls. 'I kept giving auditions. I did play the lead in shows like Vishkanya Ek Anokhi Prem Kahani and Saam Daam Dand Bhed, but real recognition came with Bhagya Lakshmi. It took me 8 years to bag a lead role that made a difference. The show may have ended now but I am grateful for the opportunity.' The actress, who is currently seen in the reality show, Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, believes in destiny. She recounts, 'There was a time when I was sitting at home.. that was around 2017. That's when self-doubt kicked in. I even thought of going for higher studies. Suddenly I got a call for an audition, and the same production house later also asked me to audition for Bhagya Lakshmi. It was meant to be.'
