The YouTuber is joining the likes of Ellie Goldstein, Thomas Skinner, Vicky Pattison and Neighbours' Stefan Dennis on the dancefloor this year. They'll be competing against Gladiators legend Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, Game of Thrones actor Kristian Nairn, Love Island winner Dani Dyer, Doctor Who star Alex Kingston and footballers Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Karen Carney. Lorraine star Ross King, EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal, George Clarke, La Voix, and Chris Robshaw complete the 2025 line-up. Though the reveals have all been announced, fans have to patiently wait to see which pro dancers they'll be paired up with, although rehearsals are already underway. This year's celebrity contestants include a rugby player, a drag queen, a social media influencer and a Game of Thrones actor (Image: BBC) Article continues below Reigning champion Dianne Buswell (who lifted the glitterball trophy with Chris McCausland last year), will be returning alongside Amy Dowden, who had to pull out last year due to an injury following her cancer battle. Meanwhile, Gorka Marquez has confirmed he will not have a celebrity partner, and two new pros, Alexis Warr and Julian Caillon, have joined the mix. Teasing which dancers he has already met, George appeared to drop a major hint during an episode of his The Useless Hotline podcast. Discussing the audition process, he revealed he was partnered with Lauren Oakley and rehearsed with her for an hour. George Clarke is one of the stars taking to the Strictly ballroom (Image: Getty Images for AELTC) "I've not met anyone apart from, I believe her name's Lauren, who was the pro that I met," he said. "We had an interview for it, so it's like an hour long interview, and then like an hour long dance session just to see where you're at.' George did however say he has yet to meet all the others and find out which professional he would be confirmed to be dancing with. Lauren, who stepped in to dance with JB Gill last year and made it all the way to the final after Amy Dowden was forced to withdraw, and has partnered with Krishnan Guru-Murthy in the past, was among the pros celebrating George's announcement, writing, 'Yessss,' on the Instagram reveal post. Lauren Oakley stepped in for Amy Dowden last year and partnered with JB Gill (Image: Getty Images) Following the news that he was part of the 2025 line-up, YouTube star George said: 'Never thought I'd say this... but I'm doing Strictly! 'Honestly, I've got no idea what I'm doing but I'm excited to get stuck in... and potentially fall over a fair bit." Fans have already thrown their support behind him, with one saying: 'So iconic. The mums are going to eat you UP.' Another wrote: 'So excited for it! I know where my votes are going!' Strictly is weeks away from a return (Image: PA) Fellow YouTube stars Caspar Lee and Joe Sugg also shared their support with ex-Strictly contestant Joe writing, 'This is going to be brilliant,' while Caspar said: 'I reckon your quickstep is faster than your quick wit (see what I did there).' Judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton du Beke and Shirley Ballas are all set to return for 2025 alongside hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, while the professional dancers have been sharing glimpses at training on social media. Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz set tongues wagging at US Open as coach reveals what's really going on
Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz set tongues wagging at US Open as coach reveals what's really going on The two tennis stars teamed up to take on Jack Draper and Jessica Pegula in New York Raducanu and Alcaraz were all smiles despite their defeat Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz were all smiles despite crashing out of this year's US Open mixed doubles event in the opening round, with their friendly display on court setting tongues wagging yet again. The duo came up against British star Jack Draper and his partner Jessica Pegula in the first round of the revamped competition, with Alcaraz facing a rapid turnaround to be in New York to take part, having won the Cincinatti Open less than 24 hours earlier. However, he and Raducanu were ultimately beaten 4-2, 4-2 by Draper and Pegula. Despite the result, however, the pair were certainly in high spirits and looked delighted to be sharing each other's company on the court, with 22-year-old Raducanu beaming after almost every point. Alcaraz and Raducanu were seen giggling their way through breaks, while they shared a warm embrace at the end of the match. The display has seen more questions asked about the nature of their relationship, with much made of their partnership heading into the US Open, given the rumours of a potential romance between the two stars. Those rumours began to circulate after Raducanu was spotted in the stands at Centre Court, cheering on Alcaraz as he secured his second successive Wimbledon title last year. Article continues below They gathered pace earlier this summer as the British ace was again seen supporting Alcaraz as he won the men's singles event at Queen's, while reports later emerged that the Spanish star had visited her at her hotel during the tournament. However, both players have played down suggestions of their relationship being anything more than platonic, with Raducanu telling reporters at Wimbledon that they are "just good friends". The pair laughed together as they took a break Now, the current British No.1's former coach Mark Petchey has given the same verdict as he weighed in on the rumours surrounding the two 22-year-olds. 'They are just good friends," he told OLBG. "She's good friends with a lot of people out there on the tour. The media is going to be the media. 'Obviously, I know there's suggestions that they are going out. That's not the case. They're just good friends. The reality is they're only there to play tennis.' As well as Alcaraz, Raducanu has also been linked to long-time friend Draper, as well as Brooklyn Beckham and former tennis prodigy Benjamin Heynold. She split up with her former boyfriend Carlo Agostinelli - a budding footballer and the son of billionaire financier Robert Agostinelli - last year. Meanwhile, Alcaraz has also been the subject of romance rumours linking him to sports marketing and law graduate Maria Gonzalez Gimenez and Spanish singer Ana Mena. Article continues below However, the five-time Grand Slam winner has since confirmed his relationship status, telling the Molusco TV podcast: "I'm single, but I'm looking for someone. It can be difficult for a tennis player to meet the right person, because they are always on the move. Who knows what will happen this year." "No commitments for now, I'm single," he added. "I've laughed several times with people close to me, when I discovered that three or four players got engaged during the winter break. "I thought it would be my turn, but not yet. It's complicated to never stay in the same place, it's difficult to find the person who can share things with you if you're always in different parts of the world."

A spokesperson for Nestlé UK and Ireland, which commissioned the research, said: "There's something quintessentially British about a picnic - whether it's blazing sunshine or a stubborn grey sky. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad 'We'll still lay out the blanket, unpack the homemade sandwich, break off some chocolate and make the best of it, as the study shows. 'And that sense of British comfort hits a little harder when so many of our go-to picnic treats come from brands that are part of Britain's heritage too.' The research found more than half (52 per cent) said they're more likely to buy food and drink if they know it's made in Britain, while 29 per cent say they often check the packaging to confirm its origin before buying it. 'There's a real sense of pride in choosing British-made products that have been part of our summer traditions for generations. 'Many of the treats we reach for in those moments are made right here in Britain – something the research shows us people are especially proud of.
