Rangeen X Reviews: Viewers Call Its ‘Gigolo Plotline 'Confused But Quirky'
Rangeen follows a journalist who wishes to become a gigolo after catching his wife cheating on him.
Rangeen, the latest drama series featuring Vineet Kumar Singh, Rajshri Deshpande, and Taaruk Raina in the lead roles, has dropped on Prime Video. After the trailer was released, Rangeen seemed to take the audience on a fun and emotional ride. As the episodes unfolded, fans noticed that the series does not have the clarity of what it wants to be.
Soon after the release, fans took to Twitter to show their disappointment as the series lost its charm while jumping from comedy to drama to awkward emotional scenes. One user wrote, 'A man becomes a gigolo… to take revenge on his cheating wife. #RangeenOnPrime had a fire concept but lost the plot midway. Bold start. Bland end. Watch it for Sheeba Chaddha & some quirky moments. Skip if you're expecting depth."

Another user also noted that although the series had a bold premise, it failed at execution. '# Rangeen: Bold premise, shaky execution. #VineetKumarSingh is sincere but lost in a muddled script. #TaarukRaina & #SheebaChaddha shine, but tonal shifts and slow pacing dim the spark. A quirky gigolo drama that starts vibrant but fades. 3/5"

Someone else humorously noted, 'Kids are watching #MandalaMurders, and adults are hyped for #Sarzameen. And #Rangeen? Prime Video just ghosted its show. Strong cast. Great story. ZERO buzz."
What Is The Plot Of Rangeen?
Rangeen begins with a journalist named Adarsh Johri (played by Vineet Kumar Singh), who runs a newspaper, and his wife Naina (played by Rajshri Deshpande), who supports him unconditionally. Adarsh is fully focused on his career and his newspaper business, which he wants to grow across the state. However, things take a sharp turn when he catches his wife cheating on him with a male escort, aka gigolo, Sunny (played by Taaruk Raina). After catching them in the act, Adarsh decides to follow the gigolo to make his life hell.
In a turn of events, Adarsh receives a reality check from Naina, who shocks him by saying that Adarsh could not satisfy her in bed, and therefore, she had to find solace in a gigolo. After hearing this, Adarsh decides to become a gigolo and takes help from Sunny. Will Adarsh become a gigolo and go on the path of self-discovery, or will he succumb to the temptation of the profession? The climax of Rangeen will have your answer. Directed by Amardeep Galsin and Amir Rizvi, the series ultimately did not meet the expectations of the fans.

Mandala Murders Ending Explained: Does Vaani Kapoor's fight against Surveen Chawla end in this season?
Disclaimer: This article contains spoilers. Mandala Murders is a story that promises to keep you hooked! The gripping psychological thriller revolves around the town of Charandaspur, where unusual and sinister killings take place under the pretext of centuries-old tradition. Vaani Kapoor (Rea Thomas) and her partner Vaibhav Raj Gupta (Vikram Singh) investigate the ritualistic murders conducted by a secret cult called Aayastis. Mandala Murders Plot The Aayastis are obsessed with the Aayast Yantra, an instrument that can control universal energy. They are attempting to create a god like being named Yast by assembling human body parts according to an ancient ritual. The cult believes that through this unnatural creator, they can usher in a new divine era. They think that this ritual will transform the world, cleansing it of those deemed unworthy. Digging deep in the mystery, the detectives, Rea and Vaibhav, uncover a chilling blueprint linked to fate, prophecy, and fanatic belief. As Rea is determined to stop these horrifying killings, Ananya Bharadwaj (Surveen Chawla), a political figure, will stop at nothing to complete the Yast project as it's her grandmothers's legacy. Her grandmother is Rukmini (Shriya Pilgaonkar), the Mahamani of the Ayastis who started the ritual in 1952. Mandala Murders Ending Explained The series culminates in a tense confrontation between Rea and Ananya as the Aayastis prepare to sacrifice Vikram. The threat to Vikram personalizes Rea's fight against Ananya. Ananya and her followers are ready to perform the ritual, and just as they are about to carry out the blood sacrifice, Rea arrives to intervene. She stabs Ananya at the moment as the latter attempts to kill Vikram, disrupting the ritual and preventing Yast's full resurrection. However, despite this victory, the presence of the cult members indicates that the threat is not over. While the immediate danger has been halted, the series ends on an uncertain note. The final scenes suggest that some cult members remain at large, and the ideology behind Yast has not been fully eliminated. The shadow of the Ayastis continues to loom over Charandaspur, leaving the door open for future conflicts. These unresolved threads imply that the story could continue in a second season, exploring how the battle between darkness and justice evolves. Mandala Murders is an 8-episode Netflix series that premiered on July 25, 2025.
