The man wrote that he was riding home alone on his scooter when a police bike signaled him to pull over. 'I thought it was just a routine stop. They said they were checking people because of some reports about weed. I answered everything calmly,' he recalled.

Assam villagers claim to receive threat calls from Bangladeshi fundamentalists
Fresh security concerns have emerged in Assam's Dhubri district after villagers living along the India-Bangladesh border reported receiving threatening phone calls and audio clips from individuals claiming affiliation with Bangladesh's fundamentalist group Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI).The audio messages, traced to a Bangladeshi number, warned locals of "terrible consequences' if they cooperated with Indian security forces. Villagers were allegedly threatened with arson if anyone from the area was of Lakhimari and Bishkhowa under Golakganj police station were among the first to alert authorities. 'We are living in constant fear. People are too scared to speak openly,' said one villager. The allegations emerged after an X user turned the tables by hacking into Trivedi's laptop, capturing his stunned reaction on webcam, which went viral on social a post on X, NanoBaiter, who 'tracks down and identifies scammers' according to his bio, claimed to have exposed Trivedi who allegedly operates a classic 'Microsoft support scam.' This typically begins with a fake pop-up warning that locks a user's screen, plays loud alarm sounds, and urges them to call a bogus victims call, the scammer pressures them into giving remote access via tools such as AnyDesk or TeamViewer, enabling them to steal data or money. The alleged victim, however, claims to have used a virtual machine to reverse-hack Trivedi. In the process, they claimed that they were able to: 'Capture his webcam feed, snapping a clear photo of his face. Identify his name, which appeared on a softphone dialer during the call. Trace his location, using his laptop's active Wi-Fi card, to an apartment complex in Raebareli.'
