Diksha Dagar finishes in Top-20 in PIF London Championship
Diksha seemed to be going great with three birdies on the front nine, but she gave away all those gains on the back nine a matter of four holes between the 11th and the 14th.
After rounds of 70-73-73 at the Par-73 Centurion Club, Diksha was 3-under 216 for three rounds and finished Tied-19th. Diksha, is still 12th on the Order of Merit of the Ladies European Tour.
Two other Indians, who made the cut, Aditi Ashok (72) and Pranavi Urs (75) were further down the leaderboard. Aditi (73-74-72) was even par for three rounds and Tied-34th while Pranavi (75-71-75) was 2-over and T-44th.
Avani Prashanth had missed the cut.
Laura Fünfstück held her nerve during the final round to clinch the title with a one-stroke victory.
On a sunny day in Hertfordshire, it was a tightly contested final day with 10 players finishing within three shots of Fünfstück.
The German star had a three-shot lead overnight but had a tricky start to the day as she was three-over after four holes.
However, the 30-year-old, who lives in London, recovered well and produced a stunning back nine to leave her with a one-foot birdie to seal her maiden Ladies European Tour (LET) title with a score of 10-under-par.
Ecuador's Daniela Darquea produced a round of 68 (-5) on the final day to finish in outright second place with a total of nine-under-par.
Five-time LET winner Anne Van Dam finished with a flourish carding an eagle on the last to end the week in solo third place on eight-under-par.
Seven players finished in a share of fourth place with Olivia Cowan, Adela Cernousek, Alice Hewson, Lee-Anne Pace, Mimi Rhodes, Kim Metraux and Manon De Roey all on seven-under-par.
Next up for the LET is a one-week break followed by the Hills Open at Hills Golf & Sports Club between 22-24 August. PTI CORR KHS KHS

Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan recently shared several untold stories from his playing days, including the true inspiration behind his iconic 'tongue out' celebration during the 2008 Perth Test against Australia. India and Australia have always had a fierce on-field rivalry, characterised by intense competition and heated moments. The 2007-08 series was no exception, filled with controversies and spirited battles. During the Perth Test, while Irfan was fielding near the boundary, he was subjected to racial taunts from a section of the Australian crowd. 'When I was fielding at the boundary line, they targeted me by saying things like, 'You have eaten Indian curry, you're smelling like Indian curry.' The Australian crowd try to get under your skin," Irfan was quoted as saying in an interview with The Lallantop. Instead of moving away, Irfan chose to respond in his own unique way. 'I didn't change my field position and instead gave them replies. 'When I took a wicket, I took my tongue out to indicate that my tongue is very clean and there's no smell. So, that celebration was for the crowd," he explained. India went on to win that historic Perth Test by 72 runs, marking one of their most famous overseas victories. Irfan was named Player of the Match for his all-round performance, scoring 28 and 26 runs in the two innings and taking five wickets to help India bounce back in the series. However, alongside these highs, Irfan also faced career setbacks. He recalled how in 2009, despite performing well in Sri Lanka alongside his brother Yusuf Pathan — where India chased down 60 runs off just 27-28 balls — he was sidelined during the New Zealand tour. 'It was back in 2009, when we were in New Zealand. Before that, my brother (Yusuf Pathan) and I had won matches in Sri Lanka. The situation in which we had pulled a win – if it had been anyone else in our place, they wouldn't have been dropped for a year. In that match against Sri Lanka, we needed 60 runs from just 27-28 balls, and we won it from there," Irfan was quoted as saying to The Lallantop. 'In New Zealand, I was benched for the first match, the second match, and the third match as well. The fourth match was a draw because of rain. I wasn't in the final match either. Then I asked Gary sir why I had been dropped. India get Jasprit Bumrah boost ahead of Asia Cup 2025 squad announcement; Suryakumar Yadav clears fitness test too

According to a Indian Express report, Bumrah has informed the BCCI selectors that he is available for selection. 'Bumrah has informed the selectors that he will be available for Asia Cup selection. The selection committee will meet and discuss it when they meet next week,' the newspaper quoted a source. The inclusion of Bumrah will give an added edge to the Indian team in the competition, the squad of which is expected to be picked in Mumbai on August 19. Earlier, Bumrah, who played just three Tests out of five games in England, was released during the fifth Test at The Oval. Although, the BCCI didn't reveal the exact reason of Bumrah's release during the Oval Test, several media reports stated that the premier India pacer was suffering from a knee injury and headed to Bengaluru's BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE) for recovery. With the Asia Cup 2025 to be played in T20I format, Bumrah need not to bowl long spells, thereby putting his workload management in check.
