Exclusive – Roadies XX's Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu reacts to Prince Narula and Elvish Yadav's controversy; says, 'Everyone knows whose side I'm on'
Stunt-based show Roadies XX has come to an end with Elvish Yadav, along with contestant Kushal Tanwar, lifting the trophy of the show. Kushal recently gave an exclusive interview to Times of India TV where he opened up about his journey, bond with Elvish Yadav, and more.
He also reacted to Prince and Elvish's recent controversy.
Kushal aka Gullu mentioned that it's important to respect both the gang leaders. However, if he ever had to choose, then it's obvious whose side he will be on. Moreover, Kushal expressed his excitement on winning the reality show.
He said, 'Yes, I've heard about the controversy and I feel like both of them are gang leaders and hence it's important to respect them both.
However, if I've to choose, everyone knows whose side I'll be on. I'm very close to Elvish bhai and I'll support him always.'
He further opened up about his journey and shared, 'My journey wasn't as easy as it seemed to everyone. I first got evicted because of my own gang member Hartaaj. Later, I came as a wildcard and gave my best. I didn't know I'd be standing in the finale with Hartaaj. It was about my and Elvish bhai's self-respect at that point, and I had to win it for him.'
Elvish also spoke about his journey in an exclusive interview with TOI TV and mentioned, 'My journey as a gang leader on Roadies XX was amazing. Initially, I didn't know what to do or how to play, but my fellow gang leaders helped me, and I learnt a lot from them. I came on the show only for the love of the audience and didn't expect to win. However, now that I've won, it feels amazing.'

Watch: Roadies XX Winner Gullu Receives Bollywood Style Welcome In Gurgaon
Last Updated: Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu shared a video of a special road rally to celebrate his Roadies XX win. Content creator Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, walked away with the MTV Roadies XX trophy on June 1. Part of Elvish Yadav's gang, Kushal also received Rs 10 lakh as prize money and a Karizma XMR bike. Hartaaj Singh Gill of Prince Narula's group became the first runner-up. Kushal and Hartaaj went head-to-head in the final task, with the Gurugram-based content creator completing the challenge first by a margin of 32 seconds. Days after lifting the trophy, Kushal gave a glimpse of his celebrations back in Gurugram. Kushal Tanwar shared a video where he and his friends organised a special car rally to celebrate his victory. The group was also seen dancing with big smiles on their faces. Kushal's team leader, Elvish Yadav, congratulated him on Instagram and wrote, 'I'm completely overwhelmed with emotions right now! I'm thrilled to announce that my brother Kushal Tanwar (Gullu) and I have WON the season of Roadies Double Cross! This journey has been an incredible ride, and I'm so grateful to have shared it with my bro! We did it, Gullu!" Kushal's journey this season has been nothing short of thrilling. After being eliminated in the middle of the season, he made a surprising return to Gautam Gulati's gang, only to double-cross him and rejoin Elvish for the grand finale. Runner-up Hartaaj Singh Gill had earlier voiced his frustration at the last task of the competition, and claimed the makers wanted Kushal to win. He also alleged that a puzzle task, set to test the mental agility of the contestants, was mysteriously shelved in the finale. 'There was a puzzle task as well. However, they removed everything where the brain has to be used because they knew if that were the case, then I would win it. I feel extremely bad because it's just so unfair. This shouldn't have happened," he added. Apart from Kushal and Hartaaj, the other finalists were Rishabh Sachdev, Rohit Singh, RD Dedha, and Priya Sharma. Aside from Elvish Yadav, Neha Dhupia, Gautam Gulati, Prince Narula, and Rhea Chakraborty were the gang leaders. First Published:
