AN ALLEGED Brit assassin who Spanish police say was on the run has been arrested in Costa del Sol.
The suspected hitman had a run-in with two women at a petrol station and was involved in a car crash shortly after, local reports say.

The suspect began harassing two Dutch women after trying to get them to buy him cocaine, according to local paper Sur.
The man - described locally as having links with 'one of London's most dangerous crime gangs" - is said to have tried to flee as police arrived at the scene.
Police released photos of the objects seized in his smashed-up Nissan Qashqai.
They include pistols, ammunition, a silencer and a book titled 'Practical Buddhism and the Search for Self'.

The arrest was made in an area called Riviera between La Cala de Mijas and Marbella.
A spokesperson for Mijas police said: 'A British man has been arrested in Riviera who had a warrant out for him ordering his remand in prison for murder.'
He added: 'While conducting surveillance work in La Cala de Mijas, officers were called yesterday to deal with an altercation at a petrol station in the area.
'Upon arrival, they interviewed a customer at the station who stated that a foreign man who had been harassing her had already driven away from the scene.
"Shortly afterwards, a call was received alerting us to an accident on Orfebres Street in Riviera.
'Upon arrival the officers found a damaged vehicle that matched the one involved in the incident at the petrol station.
"The driver attempted to flee when he saw police but was quickly intercepted by the officers.
"Once identified, they verified that he was a British man with a warrant for his arrest and remand in prison for murder.
'He was also carrying several firearms and a large amount of ammunition which were seized."
Police added he was handed over to the Civil Guard police force and then imprisoned.
No details were given about the nature of the crimes, along with his identity and age.
Sur reported on Saturday: 'An investigation remains open to clarify his links with organised crime.'

The alarm was raised after police received reports that a person had fallen into the water. Several specialist resources raced to the scene alongside police officers and fire crews. But tragically, a 65-year-old man's body was recovered from the water a short time later. Police have said that they are not treating the man's death as suspicious. Photos from the scene show officers working with specialist crews as the search operation got underway. Two police cars were seen parked on the road near the waterfall. The large motors blocked the road, stopping the public from accessing the beauty spot. Two fire engines were also spotted in the area. A Police Scotland spokesperson told STV News: 'Around 11.55am on Wednesday, August 6, we received a report of person having fallen at the Reekie Linn waterfall near Kilry. 'The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.' A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: 'We were alerted at 11.52am on Wednesday, August 6 to attend Reekie Linn Waterfall near Kilry. 'Operations Control mobilised two appliances and several specialist resources to the scene to assist emergency service partners.' It comes weeks after a woman tragically died after falling at a different waterfall on the hottest day of the year. On July 12, we told how a 63-year-old woman passed away after falling at Campsie Glen in front of a distraught crowd. Shocked visitors could be seen gathered near the falls which are accessed via a footpath which rises around 200m. Police sealed off a nearby car park with blue tape and were stopping drivers from entering after the accident around 12.35pm. The woman was treated by paramedics but could not be saved.
