Rangers and Scotland legend McCoist, 62, was a busy man last week with his media duties.
Alongside his presenting gig on talkSPORT Breakfast, Ally was in the commentary box for the huge Champions League showdown between Real Madrid and Arsenal at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night.
24 hours later, he was up in Bilbao to provide commentary and punditry for Rangers' encounter with Athletic Club at San Mames.
After making it back to UK shores, McCoist headed to take in Darvel's clash with Drumchapel United on Saturday afternoon - not quite the Bernabeu!
He would've good reason to head for Ayrshire with his son Argyll currently playing for the visiting side.
Away from football, McCoist is known to enjoy exploring and often pops up at idyllic spots across Scotland.
A keen fishing fan and lover of nature, the Ibrox icon is always happy when he's by the water!
So it's perhaps little surprise that he headed for Loch Fyne this Easter weekend.
Taking to Instagram, McCoist gave his 520,000 social media followers an inside look at his trip to the stunning Scottish spot.
Filming himself standing by the loch, McCoist said: "Somebody will need to tell me that this isn't the best place in the globe to be right now, honestly.

"Have a look. I wonder if I got it, did you see that fish jump? I think it was a fish.
"Absolutely beautiful, looks as though you could walk across it. Looks actually warm as well - should I find out?"
Never one to shy away from a challenge, McCoist decided to take a dip!
A second video shows him making his way into the water, with his immediate response being: "Fresh. Unbelivably fresh."
A third video then shows McCoist back out of the water - but he immediately decides to get back in!
He tells his followers: "Now the secret is, they tell me, is you've got to get back in.
"It actually feels a bit better. It does feel a bit better!
"CUT!"
Fans were loving McCoist's content and some reckon he could've been auditioning for one of film's biggest roles!
Producers are, of course, still on the lookout for a new James Bond after Daniel Craig's exit from the role in 2021.
And fans couldn't help but notice similarities between McCoist heading in and out of the water and Craig's debut appearance as Bond in Casino Royale back in 2006.
One fan wrote: "Scotland's James Bond! Happy Easter Ally."
Another said: "Your audition for Bond is complete! Happy Easter Ally!"
A third posted: "Reminded me of Daniel Craig coming out of the sea in Casino Royale."
Other fans couldn't quite believe McCoist decided to brave the rather cold temperatures of the water!
One comment read: "You're a brave man pal."
Similarly, a second said: "Happy Easter Ally. You're a brave man!"
A third posted: "I'll tell you this, it looks Baltic in that water!"
While a further comment said: "Off your head boy!"
McCoist replied: "Freezin' pal."
