Inside Katie Price and ex Alex Reid's marriage as he threatens to ‘expose the tr
The former glamour model, 47, hit out last week after her ex-Peter Andre – with whom she shares Junior, 20, and Princess, 18 – accused her of 'lies and baseless allegations' involving their children's welfare.
In a statement, her representative said that Katie 'doesn't feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments' and that she would 'no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was'.
However, days later another of her ex-husband's – Alex Reid – also called her out in a dramatic way.
'I am spearheading a campaign to expose the truth,' he said in a video last night, accusing Katie of trying to tarnish the reputations of her ex-partners.
After just a year of marriage, Katie and Alex, now 50, split in 2011. Here's everything we know about their relationship and how things broke down between the pair.
Just eight weeks after Katie split from Peter in 2009, she moved on with former cage fighter Alex, who had then forged a career as a trained mixed martial artist (MMA).
He'd also appeared in TV shows including Hollyoaks and My Hero.
But it was dating Katie that saw him become a household name after the pair met at Michelle Heaton's 30th birthday party at Cafe De Paris.
In her 2010 memoir, You Only Live Once, Katie detailed how she slept with her 'rebound' the night they met.
'I got it off him the first night. I'd been looking at pictures of him and texting him before that, though. Then I met Alex, slept with him and have stayed with him since. How could I resist the power of Alex?' she wrote.
'I love a whirlwind – I'm an all or nothing girl. When something feels right, I believe in getting married and having kids, why wait around? I get on so well with Alex's family and he gets on with mine. We're all very similar,' she added.
However, they did briefly split after Katie returned to Australia to star in another season of I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
When quitting the jungle, she also infamously dumped Alex live on air during her interview with Ant and Dec, declaring that: 'I just realised I wanted to be on my own, I don't need a relationship.'
But a few weeks later the pair were back on, and soon after he then entered the Celebrity Big Brother house (which he went on to win).
Katie and Alex had a whirlwind romance, marrying in Las Vegas in February 2010, just seven months after they began dating. Alex also famously spent £60,000 on her engagement ring.
A few months later they had their marriage formally recognised with a church blessing in the UK, which was filmed for the ITV2 special Katie And Alex: For Better, For Worse.
Their vows to overcome the worst together ended up being an uphill battle.
Despite attempts to work on their marriage, in January 2011, Katie announced her impending divorce.
'Alex and I have had a number of difficulties over the past few months. I accept that these were in part caused by my marrying too quickly – we all make mistakes and this was one,' she wrote in a statement.
'However, Alex changed from the man I fell in love with and some of his behaviour became difficult for me to understand and caused issues. I have tried to help him with these issues but they have put a considerable strain on our relationship.
'Our difficulties were also not helped by Alex becoming more fascinated by life in the media eye.'
She continued in the lengthy statement: 'Alex and I have spent many hours discussing our relationship and trying to make it work but the issues between us are too deep rooted…
'I am deeply upset that my relationship with Alex has failed but I know it is the right thing for my children and I that we separate. My children are my absolute priority in this and they are being shielded from what is happening.'
There's been no love lost between the former couple over the past 14 years, with the pair trading barbs at every opportunity.
Over the years he's also branded her a 'spiteful bully' and accused her of bullying him 'for years', as well as causing 'so much pain and suffering'.
In 2019 Katie was sued by her ex and ordered by a court to pay him £25,000 after misusing private information about his sex life.
She also had to pay him £150,000 in legal costs after allegedly sharing sex tape footage of him with a TV studio audience.
Her actions had led to Alex claiming he was 'denigrated in the street'.
Last night Alex released his bombshell video, in which he said he was preparing to go up against his ex again.
'Over the years you've seen countless stories by Katie Price directed at me, Peter Andre, Kieran Hayler, and others,' he said.
'I am spearheading a campaign to expose the truth. This isn't about gossip, it's about evidence. It isn't about rumour, it's about reality.

'After years of silence the time has finally come to reveal all. This is bigger than one person. It's about honesty, accountability, and supporting those that have been silenced. More Trending
'The time for speculation is over. The truth will now be seen and heard.'
Following her split from Alex, Katie went on to marry third husband Kieran Hayler in 2013. They share two children – Jett and Bunny – but split in 2018.

She was then engaged to Kristopher Boyson in 2019, but they split a month later. She's now been in a relationship with Married at First Sight star JJ Slater since early last year.

Rylan Clark sheds light on 'intense' journey as he declares 'love' for ITV co-star
Rylan Clark has gushed over his 'love' for his former ITV co-star, as the pair opened up to one another on the presenter's BBC Radio 2 show Radio host Rylan Clark has openly expressed his love and admiration for his co-star, who he first met while finding fame on an ITV show. The 36-year-old ex-contestant was chatting to the singer-songwriter on his Radio 2 programme about her latest book when he burst into glowing praise. Rylan was speaking with former X Factor judge Tulisa, 37, following the launch of her new memoir 'Judgement: Love, Trials, and Tribulations', chronicling her life and career journey. Tulisa rose to stardom as the lead singer of N-Dubz, before penning several books and featuring on various TV shows including I'm A Me Out of Here!. Chatting to his friend on his BBC Radio 2 programme, fellow writer Rylan showered Tulisa with compliments over her book's brilliant reception. He said: "I've got to say I'm also an author, Tulisa. I'm also an author. So far, it's doing incredible, it's, like, on the Amazon best sellers list already. It's all kicking off. For anyone out there, we had this chat last night, you know I'm a Tulisa fan, I love you to bits. "But for anyone, you don't even need to know who you are to read this story, because it is so intense. It is literally, I can already see the film, clearly, it's going to be Jennifer Lawrence playing you." This marks another occasion the pair have supported one another in the chaotic realm of entertainment. In an Instagram post shared months ago, Rylan declared: "Never been prouder @tulisacontostavlos. From 2012 to now we've been through a lot and I'm so proud we stayed by each others side. Now it's time for everyone to know your truth. "We've never publicised it, we've just been there for eachother. I'm so happy your words will now be heard by everyone. Tulisa's book Judgement is out now x #Day1 x." In response, Tulisa replied: "Love you will all my heart you beautiful earth angel." (sic) In recent years Tulisa has spoken about the difficult period she endured in the public eye, saying that she had tried to end her own life following being deceived in a sting operation by 'Fake Sheikh' Mazher Mahmood. Although she faced charges for supplying class A drugs, her case was thrown out when it came to light that Mahmood had lied in court. She revealed that her "year from hell" had driven her to attempt suicide on two occasions. Discussing the ordeal on This Morning, Tulisa said: "The first attempt was quite light in a sense...I was very drunk and I wasn't sure, just go for it, I've had enough. "It was the second time that after the trial had finished then I had time to really process everything that happened was the real kicker. Surviving that was a miracle." When asked about her feelings in 2025, she said that there were long-term effects on how she interacted with people. Tulisa admitted: "I don't think I'll ever trust in the same way again but I am someone who has a logical head on their shoulders. I hope for the best in people I'm not a negative person, I'm not looking for negative things in someone."

Hollyoaks star Callum Kerr begs friends of 'murdered mum' not to attend stepdad's funeral
Callum Kerr and his sister Amanda Kerr issued a joint statement today where they said for friends of their mother Dawn Kerr to not attend the funeral of her husband Andrew Searle Hollyoaks and Netflix actor Callum Kerr and his sister Amanda Kerr have issued a blistering statement to urge people not to attend the funeral of their stepdad Andrew Searle. Andrew and his wife Dawn Kerr died earlier this year in France. The bodies of Andrew, 62, and Dawn, 56, were discovered on February 6 after neighbours became concerned. Tragically, Dawn's body was found lying outside the front door with jewellery scattered around her, whilst furniture was flipped inside the property. Mr Seale was found hanged with a gag in his mouth and it was initially believed the couple had been attacked in a staged robbery. However detectives later suspected that the husband killed his wife before taking his own life. Now Callum - who has appeared in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks and in Virgin River on Netflix - has issued a statement alongside his sister Amanda, where they urged people not to attend the funeral. In a lengthy statement shared online, the pair said: "In the absence of any evidence suggesting third-party involvement in the tragic death of our mother, Dawn Kerr, the prevailing hypothesis remains that of a murder-suicide. Our mother was killed by multiple blows to the head, and Andrew was found deceased by hanging. His injuries are consistent with self-hanging, and no defensive wounds were found on his body. There is also no evidence whatsoever of any third party's involvement at this stage. "While the official investigation is still ongoing, we cannot ignore the circumstances as they stand. For this reason, we must respectfully but firmly request that our mother not be included in any way in the funeral arrangements being made for Andrew. Please do not share photographs of them together." They added: "Please do not attend Andrew's service if you were a friend of our mother. It would be inappropriate for her memory to be associated with a service honouring the man who, based on all available evidence, may have been responsible for her death. We ask for understanding, privacy and respect as we continue to grieve and seek justice for our mum." Just two years ago, Callum was beside his mother as she tied the knot with Andrew. Sharing photos from the big day online, he wrote: "Not many people can say they walked their own mother down the aisle. What a pleasure!! I love you mum. Congrats to Dawn and Andy on their wonderful wedding day and here's to a tremendous life together for the happy couple." Dawn and Andrew Searle tied the knot in September 2023 and were originally from Musselburgh, East Lothian. The pair had moved from Scotland to Les Pesquies, near Toulouse, southern France, 10 years ago. to start a new life. The pair were retired but Dawn worked from time to time as a project manager and Andrew did freelance financial work. The area where they lived has always been popular with British expats and those who own property abroad and the Searles regularly held dinner parties and gathering for their friends nearby. *If you're struggling and need to talk, the Samaritans operate a free helpline open 24/7 on 116 123.
