Rumors of a breakup between the two spread following a report from MTO that the pair split because, 'Angela felt like she was putting in more effort than she was getting back,' according to their source. 'Yo Gotti's schedule was nonstop — studios, business, appearances — and she started feeling like she wasn't a priority.'
Whispers of Yo Gotti getting 'too close' to his artist, GloRilla, also allegedly played a factor, with the source adding, 'Angela's not the jealous type, but she's also not going to ignore red flags — even if they're just rumors. She wanted more reassurance, more presence, more time.' Neither Simmons nor Gotti have confirmed a breakup.
Simmons and Gotti began dating in 2022, going public with their romance on New Year's Day, 2023. This came years after the rapper announced his crush on her via his 2016 hit, 'Down In The DM.' The couple have since had a generally smooth relationship, with engagement rumors surfacing as recently as September 2024, when he took Simmons on a romantic getaway for her 37th birthday.

Country star to end decades-long country music career with Kentucky concert
John Michael Montgomery is ready to take his final bow. The country superstar, 60, announced Tuesday that he'll be performing his last concert in December before retiring. The 'I Swear' singer added that he 'can't think of a better place' to play his last show than Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky – his home state. The show is set for Dec. 12, with tickets officially going on sale Friday. Montgomery wrote that 'some very special guests' would be joining him for the performance. Advertisement Eddie Montgomery, his brother and member of country duo Montgomery Gentry, son Walker Montgomery and son-in-law Travis Denning are all set to join him. He originally announced his retirement in a Facebook post shared last year on New Year's Day, telling his followers, 'I hope everyone enjoyed bringing in 2024 and may it be a wonderful one for all my friends out there. For me it will be the start of my farewell tour as I have decided to wind down my touring career over this year and 2025.' He continued, 'It's been a wonderful run for me from the beginning over 30 years ago in 1992 when my first song LIFE's A DANCE was released to radio I think either as a 45 vinyl or on a cassette tape, CDs had not quite taken over the market yet and the internet was still in its infancy. The former Real Housewives of Dallas star shared the news on social media on July 29 just before she went in for surgery. "Today is the day! I didn't think I would be the recipient of care at the UTSW Simmons Cancer Center my uncle Harold Simmons and his Foundation established almost 30 years ago, but now I have breast cancer," she captioned a post. "I am truly grateful to have such an excellent care team in place. I'm the 3rd woman on my mother's side of the family to be diagnosed with breast cancer…that we know about. After today, I will add breast cancer survivor to a long list of life experiences. I look forward to telling my story to inspire others in the future. Thank you to everyone that has sent prayers and support to my family and me. We appreciate it so very much and love having your support," Simmons, 56, added. She received a great deal of love, support, and prayers in the comments section. "Sorry to hear- sending you so much love and prayers," one person wrote. "I'm so sorry to hear this. I am sending so much love your way," echoed another Instagram user.
