James Argent to perform onstage just days after arrest for 'pushing girlfriend down the stairs'
James Argent is set to perform onstage just days after his arrest for reportedly pushing his girlfriend Nicoline Artursson down the stairs in Spain.
The former TOWIE star, 37, pushed the former Miss Sweden, 32, during an argument at her apartment in Costa del Sol last Monday while trying to force her out of the front door, The Sun reported.
The ITV personality was arrested for domestic violence, given a six-month suspended prison sentence and a two-year restraining order.
Despite reports that Argent had flown back to Essex, he is scheduled to sing at Olivia's La Cala in Costa del Sol on May 22.
The reality star turned singer regularly performs at the restaurant, which is owned by his former TOWIE co-star, Elliott Wright.
The event is described as being an 'incredible evening of live music, vibrant energy, and unforgettable performances with James Argent'.
He is also booked to perform on May 29, as well as several dates in June, July, and August.
Argent is believed to have pushed Artursson when an argument 'turned nasty', with the model reportedly tumbling down two steps and her shouts alerting neighbours who called the police.
The Swedish influencer, who had dated Argent for nine months, reportedly needed hospital treatment, although the extent of her injuries is not known.
Argent was arrested shortly after the incident on May 5 and kept in a cell for several hours.
He admitted a domestic violence charge when he was brought before a judge at Fuengirola's Court of Violence Against Women. He was also told to complete a 'resocialisation course in the field of gender violence'.
Sources have claimed Artursson was "in total shock" following the incident, having believed the couple were moving towards starting a family.
Speaking out after the incident, Argent said he is still sober and 'devastated' by the events.
'I haven't relapsed. I am still three years and four months clean and sober. I am devastated by what's happened,' he told MailOnline.
A friend previously told The Sun that Argent is 'extremely sorry', adding: 'He said he had a row with Nicoline and that he tried to end the argument. James said he pushed Nicoline and that she fell.
'He is remorseful about what happened but is insisting he never meant any harm.'
Argent confirmed his relationship with Artursson last September, with the pair taking part in an OK! magazine joint interview a month later.
They revealed they met outside a supermarket in Marbella and were now living together at Argent's home in Essex and looking to start a family.

John Lennon's ‘smutty' love letter to future wife revealed
A 'smutty' love letter by John Lennon to his future wife – including his complaints about Paul McCartney's snoring – has emerged 63 years on. The Beatle, then aged just 21, wrote to art student Cynthia Powell telling her how much he missed her while the band were in the middle of their Hamburg stint in April 1962. The letter, written over five nights of concerts in the city, touched on various themes, including the sudden death of former bandmate Stuart Sutcliffe the week earlier. The note also featured an amusing moan from Lennon about McCartney's 'snoring' in the bunk bed above his. In the letter, signed by Lennon and written between April 19-24 1962, he wrote: 'Paul's leaping about on my head (he's in a bunk on top of me and he's snoring) ... Shurrup Mcarntey [sic]!' The musician then confides in Powell that he had avoided Astrid Kirchherr, Sutcliffe's German fiancee, because 'I would be so awkward'. He then shot down Cynthia's plan to move in with Dot Rhone, McCartney's girlfriend, as it would have caused a lack of privacy when he and Powell were in bed together. The letter said: 'I love love love you and I'm missing you like mad ... I wish I was on the way to your flat with the Sunday papers and chocies [sic] and a throbber.' 'I wonder why all the newspapers wrote about Stu … I haven't seen Astrid since the day we arrived. I've thought of going to see her but I would be so awkward.' It went on: 'I don't like the idea of Dot moving in permanently with you cause we would never be alone really ... imagine having her there all the time when we were in bed – and imagine Paul coming all the time. '...I love you, please wait for me and don't be sad and work hard, be a clever little Cyn Powell.' John and Cynthia, who was a year older than him, had been in a relationship for four years, having met at Liverpool College of Art. They married in August 1962 and had their son Julian in April 1963, weeks after 'Beatlemania' exploded with the release of the band's chart-topping first album Please Please Me. The pair divorced in 1968 and Powell later claimed Lennon had physically abused her throughout their relationship, including slapping her face in a fit of jealousy. The handwritten letter, described as one of the finest ever written by the singer, was sold by Powell to a Swedish collector in 1991 after she fell on hard times and needed to raise money. It then changed hands to the Swedish vendor in 1993. It will be on sale at Christie's auction with a £30,000 to £40,000 estimate. Thomas Venning, the head of books and manuscripts at Christie's, said: 'Reading the letter you get the sense of two young people in love, with no idea of what was going to happen to them, which makes it really compelling and historical. 'They are very unfiltered and you can hear him using his own voice. 'There are some smutty and funny bits and you sense his personality on the page, unlike his later letters which are more guarded and preachy. 'It provides an early insight into the Beatles from their time in Hamburg which was so important to their development as a band.' The sale takes place on July 9. Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann Forced by U.S. Marshals To Move Out of Mansion — Report
When Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann's mansion in Atlanta went into foreclosure last December, we foolishly assumed that would be the end of their home drama. We were wrong because apparently, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alums continued to occupy the house for months after the foreclosure. It actually took a team of U.S. Marshals to get them out of there. Kim and Kroy's mansion went up for auction on December 3, 2024 after the couple spent months and months trying to find a buyer. They couldn't afford the house, and it turns out that selling a gently used 15,000-square-foot mansion is easier said than done. In the days leading up to the foreclosure, moving trucks were spotted outside of the house. Insiders said that both parties moved to separate rental properties. However, a new report from The Sun explained how the new owners of the mansion have been going through a lengthy legal process to get Kim and Kroy to leave. On December 21, the new owners filed legal paperwork to officially kick Kim and Kroy out of the home. They said that the estranged couple were holding the premises 'over and beyond the term' they agreed. According to the court docs, this went on for months. When they failed to get out of the house, the new owners had to enlist the help of the U.S. Marshals. Four marshals showed up at the McMansion on April 8, 2025, around 3:30 pm. Three hours later, the marshals confirmed that the RHOA alums were 'ejected' from the residence. Throughout Kim and Kroy's messy divorce, they repeatedly dialed 911 to have the police help them settle their arguments. Now that the marshals have given them the boot, we can confidently say we've reached the end of this saga. The Real Housewives of Atlanta streams on Bravo and Hayu in the UK and Ireland. TELL US – ARE YOU SURPRISED THAT KIM AND KROY CONTINUED TO OCCUPY THEIR MANSION AFTER THE FORECLOSURE? Coronation Street fans beg for 'awful' couple to break up on the show soon
Coronation Street fans have called for a couple to break up on the ITV soap, saying their relationship is "awful". This concerns the characters DS Lisa Swain (played by Vicky Myers) and Carla Connor (Alison King). Lisa and Carla became a couple on the show in 2024 and currently live together alongside Lisa's teenage daughter, Betsy (Sydney Martin). A recent storyline has seen trouble in the relationship as Lisa has been struggling following the death of her employee, Craig Tinker (Colson Smith). Amid this, Lisa asked Carla to marry her, before later revealing that her emotions might have gotten the better of her in the moment. Carla explained that she wants them to get married one day, but said that she needed it to be out of "love, not grief". It has resulted in Lisa giving Carla the cold shoulder in recent episodes, and some fans want the relationship to end. A post made on the Coronation Street Reddit page brought up the topic of Lisa and Carla's relationship not working anymore. The person wrote: "I was one of the people who originally loved the idea of these two being a couple. On paper, I thought they just really suited as both characters are similar to each other so I was looking forward to seeing them together. "However, I couldn't have been more wrong. "Carla is a shell of the woman she used to be. Swain always has something to moan and complain about regarding Carla and I honestly think it's terrible, borderline abusive behaviour from her." They discussed events of recent episodes where Lisa rebuffed Carla's attempts at a romantic dinner, and said they wanted Carla "back to her old feisty self". Quite a few people agreed with the sentiment as one shared: "I also liked them to begin with. They seemed well matched as two strong no-nonsense women. The chemistry was understandable. "But Swain is AWFUL. She takes Betsy's bad behaviour (although Betsy's naughtiness is growing on me) out on Carla all the time, and is just always in a foul mood." A third commented: "Swain is annoying just treats Carla like a doormat. The writing has been poor since they got together clearly there was no long-term planning and they live in absolute misery." Many viewers want to see better things for Carla, as another said: "Loathe Swain and her awful daughter, Carla deserves better but I never ever believed that she would want someone whose crapness at her job would result in so much suffering for Roy." I was excited to see them together but they've rushed the honeymoon period completely and turned them into a bickering, bored couple. "I had higher expectations for Swain's character. It just all feels a bit flat now. All she does is moan and nothing is ever good enough." One simply said: "I really hope they split up too. Carla deserves so much more."
