Just last month, soap fans watched in horror as Kirk was left reeling from the death of his stepson and mate Craig Tinker (Colson Smith), who met his end at the hands of villain Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton), reports Leicestershire Live.

Away from the limelight, Andy cherishes family life with his wife Nicola, tying the knot in 2007. The couple have two children together, and Andy has often spoken affectionately about his "gorgeous" wife, joking that he's "punching above my weight for years".
Andy proudly states that he and Nicola are a perfect match, boasting they "never argue" and "get on so well".

Patrick Kielty 'to be in very dark place' if new Cat Deeley fear unravels

Those close to Patrick Kielty have shared their concern following his split with This Morning presenter Cat Deeley, whom the comedian married in Rome in September 2012 Patrick Kielty will be "in a very dark place" if Cat Deeley returns to the US with their children, insiders say. ‌ The couple announced this week they have separated following a 13-year marriage, a bombshell which has reportedly led to huge concern for both parties. Residents in Dundrum, County Down - Patrick's hometown - shared their worry for the 54-year-old star, who married Cat in Rome in September 2012. ‌ Some who know Patrick, who has two children with Cat, fear the presenter would be devastated if his ex goes back to the US, where the couple used to live. One insider said: "Everyone is worried about Paddy. The fear is that Cat will go back to America with the little ones. That will leave him in a very dark place." This comes as it has emerged other showbiz couple Helen Skelton and Gethin Jones split after he joined a notorious dating app on a lads' holiday. ‌ Cat began presenting ITV's This Morning last year alongside Ben Shephard, following the departures of Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby. However, since she and Patrick confirmed their split, it emerged 48-year-old Cat found the return to the UK difficult. ‌ And so concern has grown Cat, who started her career hosting SMTV Live on Saturday mornings, could quite her ITV job and pack her bags for the US once more. Television insiders told Mail Online: "Cat's time on This Morning has not been a failure, but it has hardly been a roaring success. "It is a job which puts her under so much scrutiny, day-in and day-out, and unlike most British presenters she has plenty more lucrative options to choose from in the States... There is concern that all of this family drama could lead her to walk away." Cat and Patrick, a comedian and TV host, had lived in Los Angeles for more than 14 years, where Cat presented the reality TV show, So You Think You Can Dance. They returned and Cat swiftly started on This Morning, which is understood to be one of several ITV daytime shows subject to budget cuts. The broadcaster recently announced plans for a shake-up, which includes cutting Lorraine by 30 minutes and dropping it altogether during school holidays from January. It is believed This Morning is set to move from its base in White City, west London, to a smaller, cheaper studio in the centre of the capital. And Cat, originally from West Bromwich, West Midlands, has also been open about her struggles to adapt to the 5am starts for the four days a week she presents This Morning, and has revealed that it led her and Patrick to sleep in separate beds most nights.

Katie Price and Kerry Katona reveal they WANT their teenage daughters to go on Love Island and follow in their reality TV footsteps as they weigh in on 'nepo baby' debate

Katie Price and Kerry Katona have confessed that they want their teenage daughters to go on ITV 's flagship show Love Island. Katie, 47, is a mother to Harvey, 22, with her ex Dwight Yorke, Junior, 19, and Princess 18, with ex-husband Peter Andre, and Jett, 11, and Bunny, 10, with ex-husband Kieran Hayler. Meanwhile, Kerry, 44, shares daughters Molly, 23, and Lilly Sue, 22, with her first husband Brian McFadden; Heidi, 18, and Max, 16, with second husband Mark Croft and her youngest DJ, 10, with late husband George Kay. Now, the famous friends have confessed that they want their respective teenage daughters, Princess and Heidi, to sign up for Love Island and follow in their reality TV footsteps. Katie told The Sun: 'I always say Love Island, Heidi and Princess need to do it together.' To which Kerry added: 'The way I see it is, forget management, forget fame, what an amazing memory, what an amazing adventure.' The pair have confessed to The Sun that they want their two teenage daughters, Princess and Heidi (pictured with her mother Kerry) to be a competitor on the dating reality show Love Island Kerry also hit back at 'nepo baby' accusations as she insisted their children would only be able to thrive in the industry if they had the talent as well. 'Everyone talks about nepotism right, but everyone has a contact for somebody, I can open a door for you, whether you get through that door and you stay through it, that's on your own f*cking merit,' she said. 'You don't see Brooklyn Beckham playing f*cking football, because he's sh*t - this is our family business, this is what we do as a family.' Love Island is a UK dating competition where a group of singles live together in a luxury villa and try to form romantic connections in a bid to win a £50,000 cash prize. It would not be Princess' first foray into reality TV as she has teamed up with ITV to release her fly-on-the-wall series, The Princess Diaries. Princess is also said to already have a net worth of £500,000 and starred on the cover of OK! Magazine for her 18th birthday as she follows in her mum's showbiz footsteps. While this is a substantial amount of money, this is just 10 per cent of what Princess's ratings can secure as she has vowed to become a 'millionaire by the age of 20' For a single sponsorship brand deal video, the blonde beauty can be anywhere between £2,540 to £3,810. Meanwhile, Heidi, who boasts 18,000 followers on Instagram, has reportedly just 'done her first solo shoot', according to her mother Kerry. Heidi is currently a brand ambassador for In Print We Trust, and she offers fans discounts for using her code as she has proven herself to be the budding influencer. And it is not just TV appearances and brand deals that Heidi can capitalise off, as her TikTok and Instagram accounts have amassed over 20,000 followers. With her 18,000 Instagram followers, she is estimated to earn anywhere between £160 to £245 for each sponsorship brand deal video. Heidi has been trying to break onto the showbusiness scene for many years as she appeared on The Voice Kids in 2020. Having confessed previously that 'she knows she will be famous in the future', the brunette beauty has also teased that she has considered going on Love Island when she is older enough. And there is more to come for the star as a source told the Sun last year that she had 'already secured some incredible opportunities, including a casting in for a lead role in a Pinocchio feature film'. Heidi appears to be taking inspiration of success from family friend Princess as the Katona and Price families have been spending more time with one another over recent years.
