Bubba Ray Dudley Uses ‘A Bronx Tale' To Assess BJ Ray's Chances Of Winning WWE LFG

Bubba Ray Dudley, coach of WWE LFG, shared his perspective on BJ Ray's chances of winning the show, despite their tough relationship.
From the start of the show, Bubba Ray Dudley has often clashed with his student BJ Ray. However, despite the tension, Dudley chose to mentor him. Ray has also become a controversial figure, as The Undertaker and Dudley shut him down during a promo class episode.

This past weekend at WWE World, Bully Ray discussed his current relationship as teacher and student with BJ Ray. Ray referenced A Bronx Tale, sharing his personal experience, and quoted Chazz Palminteri's line about wasted talent.
'I'm going to lay out, I'm going to let LFG do the talking. Here's what I will say: You heard, you saw the clip, you listened to the clip. I put BJ over, I spoke highly of him despite him being his own worst enemy. I put him over. Whatever happens to BJ will be on BJ.'
'He is the… And she's shaking her head. Why are you shaking your head, Danny? Why are you shaking? I'm going to call you out. Why are you shaking your head? Because you agree, and I'm sure every coach agrees, and I'm sure every other BJ will succeed because of BJ, or BJ will fail because of BJ. Have you ever seen a movie called A Bronx Tale. You guys see A Bronx Tale? What does Chazz Palminteri say to a young Calogero? The saddest thing in the world is wasted talent. Especially in our business. Will BJ be wasted talent? Watch the rest of LFG.'
Just in case he's wondering… Mickey Mantle isn't going to pay your rent, either, BJ.
Bubba Ray Dudley rips WWE LFG talent for going into business for himself
On the April 13th edition of WWE LFG, an episode saw a heated moment between Bubba Ray Dudley and BJ Ray. The episode showed Bubba Ray Dudley absolutely ripping into BJ Ray for, as the Hall of Famer put it, 'putting every person in the ring in jeopardy.' He was seen stating, 'That is beyond the worst thing I've ever seen. You put everybody in jeopardy tonight.'

About the context, BJ Ray was involved in a tag team match on the latest WWE LFG. He was supposed to make the tag in the match. However, the rookie got into business for himself by not going for the tag, seemingly messing with the script and causing Bubba to absolutely lose it after the match.

Maven Says Only One Person In WWE Trusted Triple H

Maven has called out Triple H over his comments in WWE's latest documentary on Netflix. Former WWE superstar Maven Huffman has built a sizeable fanbase, thanks in part to his YouTube hustle. The former Tough Enough winner recently dropped a new video on his channel, in which he reacted to WWE: Unreal. The documentary pulls back the curtain on WWE's creative process with appearances from the likes of Triple H, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, and Rhea Ripley. At one point during the documentary, Triple H references his old beef with Punk, telling fans the issue between them stemmed from a lack of trust. However, according to Maven, there weren't a lot of names who trusted Triple H during that era—except his best friend, Shawn Michaels. 'No one trusted you, Hunter,' Maven said. 'Not a damn — Shawn trusted you, right? There's your list.' Maven recalls his WWE experience with Triple H and Shawn Michaels 'You're in a WWE locker room, and when you're walking down from catering, and you see Hunter and Vince and Shawn. You see all these guys that you watched on TV, and you see all these guys that you've idolized for years, and all of a sudden, you're not only in the same locker room as them, but hell, I'm on the show with them tonight,' Maven said. He continued, ''Well, I don't want to step on anybody's toes. I'm going to be the good little subordinate wrestler and do what I'm told. Hopefully, if I cross my fingers and I do what's right, then my time will come.' That's how 99.9% of the locker room views it. Punk said that was bullshit, and I'm gonna be as much of a star as you are without your effing help. By God, he went out and did it.' #WeWantKross keeps trending, just the way someone planned it

It appears that Karrion Kross and Scarlett's latest WWE run is over. That appearance was created yesterday (Aug. 10) when the company moved the couple to the alumni section of its website and they announced their free agency. That would usually be a pretty conclusive end of the story, or at least a key chapter in it. But as a frequent visitor of this and probably a few other wrestling websites, you know that there's been talk of Kross and WWE using his contract status as a storyline — especially since he went viral with a worked-shoot appearance on a WWE podcast over WrestleMania 41 weekend back in April. Now, even the boys and girls in the locker room are reportedly wondering if the company might be working them as they seemed to have done around R-Truth's contract expiration a couple month back. On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said: 'The belief in WWE is [Kross]'s going to be back but, you know, we'll see. They are not telling anyone anything, but everyone is pretty skeptical. 'It's like, are they working the boys on this if he comes back? You can say yes, but it's not like they're being fooled. It's not like guys are coming and going, 'Oh no, he's really gone.' No one is saying that. They're just sort of like, 'We don't know but we figure he's going to be back' and 'we kind of figure it's an angle, but we don't really know.'' But work or shoot, it's caused a lot of commotion. As there always are with crowd noise, we've seen debates about how loud or authentic the in-arena support for Kross has been. But it's even more obvious online, where #WeWantKross has been a frequent trend on a few social media platforms for months. That was certainly the case last night after Kross posted both parts of his video documentary on he & Scarlett's WWE contract saga. On X, Kross reposted this: While WWE's promotion of the new LFG episode on A&E was flooded with responses featuring the hashtag: It got to the point Bubba Ray used it to promote his own angle on LFG… There's a lot of focus on the crowd in Quebec City's reaction to the Kross drama on Monday Night Raw. But some didn't wait for tonight's show, and took the same approach to Adam Pearce's weekly Raw announcement video on Instagram: It's exactly the kind of grassroots digital campaign you want to see if you're in the Killer/Karrion Kross business, and the folks in that business have almost certainly been working to ensure it took off last night. But is that just Kevin Kesar and whoever's on his personal team? Or is that the entire WWE machine working in conjunction with the man behind the Kross character? If he really is on the open market right now, his value's never been higher. It's easy to see what Kross would want this story to be as big as possible, and his moves the last few weeks have smartly helped make the current moment as big as possible. However… with talk of cameras backstage working on future seasons of Unreal for Netflix, there's already a theory circulating that WWE is attempting to recreate R-Truth's story for the hit docuseries. That could be motive enough to re-sign Kross. Tonight's Raw may give us more of an indication, and not just because of 'We Want Kross' chants. While we wait for that — let us know what you think is going on, and who you think is responsible, in the comments below.
