Hollyoaks 'quietly recast character' as they return after 3 years
Hollyoaks appears to have recast a fan favourite character, who is due to return to the beloved Channel 4 soap.
After three years, character Faith Hudson is set to return, if social media clues are anything to go by.
Faith, who is the daughter of Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart), first appeared on screen in 2020. She was later played by two twins named Elsie and Lyla, and was last seen in 2022.
However, it's now been reported that producers have chosen child star Lottie Tatton to take over the role.
Faith has been absent from Hollyoaks in recent years, and was staying with her uncle Denis (Joe Tracini) in New Zealand.
However, Denis has been killed off screen, so Faith will be returning to reunite with her mum.
Lottie's new role has been revealed on the Facebook page for The Drama Mob, an acting school run by fellow soap star Tina O'Brien, who is best known as Sarah Platt in Coronation Street.
The page announced: 'A huge well done to our fabulous Lottie who has just made her debut on Hollyoaks playing Faith Hudson!
'Lottie has been part of the Drama Mob family since she was born - her mum is one of our amazing teachers Jenna!
'We're so proud of her and know she's going to absolutely smash it! Well done Lottie!'
Fans rushed to share their support, with one writing: 'Love this. Well done Lottie, you little star.'
Another said: 'Well done wee madam, you done superb.'
A Hollyoaks fan page on Instagram also shared: 'Lottie Tatton has joined the cast playing Faith Hudson, the daughter of Liberty Savage and Brody Hudson. The last time we saw Faith she was just 2 years old, now at 5 years old what will Faith get up too?'
'My face lit up when i seen her im excited to see how she blossoms liberties character is just amazing,' one follower replied.
Another said: 'I've been wondering where she's been and noticed the recent at nursery comment which I guess was leading up to her debut.'
This comes as a dramatic storyline involving Faith's mum Liberty has been exposed.
According to Metro, her affair with Jez Blake (Jeremy Sheffield) is due to cause a stir, having already caused some controversial moments.
Earlier this year, Liberty dressed up as her dead mum (Jez's ex) to try and get him to fall for her, with her plan working, though Jez continued planning his wedding to John Paul McQueen (James Sutton).
As if there weren't enough secrets, lies and deception so far, the Hollyoaks' summer trailer revealed Jez having been a serial killer for years and finally being caught - but will he get what he deserves?

Diversity star makes unlikely cameo in Bonnie Blue's new Channel 4 documentary
One Diversity star made a quick cameo in Bonnie Blue's new Channel 4 documentary in the form of a throwback photo Diversity star Ashley Banjo made an unlikely appearance in Channel 4's new documentary about adult film star Bonnie Blue's life. The adult star became one of the most controversial figures on the internet after encouraging "barely legal" teens to sleep with her in X-rated content she films and profits from, and her content continues to become more and more extreme. A new Channel 4 documentary, titled "1,000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story", was recently released and has exposed the often lonely reality of earning millions of pounds while being ostracised. During the documentary, dancer Ashley appeared in a form of a photo where he was seen with his arm around a younger Bonnie. The photo appeared while the porn star's mum discussed her passion for dance when she was younger. Ashley's name wasn't mentioned in the segment but the picture was clearly showed her past love of dance. It comes after one Mirror writer claimed 'the new Bonnie Blue documentary may be the worst thing I've ever seen on Channel 4'. Her mum also reminisced about the time Bonnie and her then dance partner won a runners-up trophy in a dancing competition. During the documentary, viewers hear from Bonnie's ex-husband Oliver Davidson for the first time. She revealed it was actually Oliver, or Ollie as he's known to Tia, who encouraged her to move into sex work. "I met Ollie when I was like 14, 15," she explains in the show. "We got married really young. Pretty, quite intimate wedding, nothing crazy, nothing over the top. Then we relocated to Australia shortly afterwards. "Ollie was beyond supportive, he gave me the confidence to do OnlyFans. And it wasn't because he wanted to pimp me out, he just wanted me to be happy and have control of my life. And obviously the money was good as well." Her ex gushed about Bonnie's sex stunts with the public and even said he's proud of her and her work. He said: "She really connects with the fans. "Most people, if they do porn, they seem out of reach. You're never going to meet them. You're never going to be able to film with them. "Whereas Bonnie puts a location online, and then obviously her fans can actually film with her. It's like a defining moment in porn, where she's completely changed the game." In a recent interview, Bonnie explained why things didn't work between the couple. She told the Daily Mail that they broke up some time before she moved back to the UK from Australia in 2024, and that Ollie returned before her. Bonnie also discussed her fears after admitting she last went out by herself six months ago as it is "not that safe". 'I get 100s of death threats a day, so it is not that safe when I walk around," she said. "I say, 'It is going to happen at some point, someone will come and give me stick' and fair play to her, at least they are getting up off their sofa. My worst one is acid, if someone did acid, and I could see some spiteful girl doing that.'

Actress is a dead ringer for Rita Ora after makeover can you guess who it is?
An actress looked a dead ringer for Rita Ora after a recent makeover as she posed for a photoshoot on Thursday. Modelling her own line of clothing on the streets of Manchester, she wore a cream blazer with a daring plunge neckline. She teamed the piece with matching shorts and added a pair of stiletto heels to complete her outfit. Mirroring Rita, she accessorised with some tinted, oversized, square sunglasses. Known for her role in a popular soap, this actress has also starred on a number of reality TV shows and competitions. Can you guess who it is? It's Chelsee Healy! The Hollyoaks actress, who plays Goldie McQueen on the Channel 4 soap, has also starred on Waterloo Road. Earlier this year, she competed on Dancing On Ice but became the first celebrity to be eliminated from the programme after being voted off in a skate-off against Comedian Josh Jones. Just four days before she was eliminated from the show, Eddie Rainford, the father of her daughter pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug between November 2022 and September 2023. In June, Chelsee watched on at Manchester Crown Court as he was warned he's facing jail for his role in a 'wholesale' drug-dealing operation. She had attempted to keep his full identity hidden on social media, only referring to her now ex-partner - who is dad of her 15-month-old daughter Cookie - as Eddie. The actress even hinted at a troubling time away from the cameras during her exit from Dancing On Ice, remarking: 'There has been a lot going on with me that I have been struggling with.' A source told The Sun: 'What Chelsee was desperately coping with while on the show was that her partner, the father of her youngest daughter, was in court for drug-dealing and has been sent to prison on remand.' While a separate insider informed the publication that the soap star was no longer in a relationship with Eddie. In March last year, Chelsee dropped a huge hint that they had secretly got married. The Hollyoaks star made reference to having a 'husband' as she shared a snap of a meal that had been cooked for her. She shared the picture of the plate of food and wrote: 'Sticky chilli steak coconut rice home made by the husband.' The actress - who plays Goldie McQueen on the Channel 4 soap - made no further elaboration of her comment. Chelsee's ex-partner was pictured for the first time after her co-star shared a snap - after she had previously kept the identity of her man under wraps. However, her Hollyoaks co-star Richard Blackwood gave the game away as he shared a series of snaps from Chelsee's baby shower - with one of them including Chelsea cuddling up to Eddie. Weeks before she'd given birth, Chelsee shared a picture of herself with Eddie, but she was posed in front of him, shielding his identity. Chelsee has since happily shown Eddie's face on her social media, with a snap on her Instagram showing herself and Eddie in matching cream outfits while holding their baby daughter Cookie - whom they welcomed in December 2023. Speaking about her decision not to publicly disclose the baby's father in summer she told Closer Magazine: 'This is the most supportive relationship I've ever been in. 'My friends and family love him, and he's the first bloke I've introduced Coco to, which says a lot. 'I knew he was The One within three to four months. I've kissed a few frogs, but he's definitely marriage material.' She added: 'In some past relationships I've never felt safe, they felt toxic and a little bit abusive, but with him it's completely different. I just want someone who brings me peace and is drama-free and this feels right. He's six years younger but has a mature head on his shoulders.' Chelsee also has an older daughter Coco, seven, from her relationship with ex Jack Malloy.

'Worst show on TV' is ending and its biggest critics are full of regret
And Just Like That… Sex and The City fans will no longer be tormented by its divisive revival. Creator Michael Patrick King has confirmed that And Just Like That, which has regularly been branded 'the worst show on TV',is coming to an end after its third and current season. In a statement shared on Instagram, King wrote: 'And just like that… the ongoing storytelling of the Sex and the City universe is coming to an end. 'While I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That… season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop. 'Along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys and Sarah Aubrey, we decided to end the popular series this year with a two-part finale and extended the original series order from 10 episodes to 12. 'SJP and I held off announcing the news until now because we didn't want the word 'final' to overshadow the fun of watching the season. 'It's with great gratitude we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years.' Despite the relentless backlash and calls for it to be over, viewers who have spent three seasons 'hate-watching' are still absolutely crushed. And Just Like That hater Tom Zohar wrote on X: 'PLEASE I DIDN'T MEAN ALL THE THINGS I SAID ABOUT YOU I LOVE YOU PLEASE DON'T LEAVE.' Another fan who loved to hate-watch, Felipe, tweeted: 'conflicted because the show is objectively terrible but i'd still watch 10 seasons of it.' Pop Culture Instagram account Deuxmoi commented: 'See what happens when you complain!!!!!' Others said they 'felt sick' and were 'devastated' but there was also a large sector of the And Just Like That audience who breathed a sigh of relief. Sex and The City was an instant movement when it launched in 1998, making Carrie Bradshaw (Parker), Miranda Hobbes, (Cynthia Nixon), Charlotte Yorke (Kristin Davis) and Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) four of the most loved women of the decade. Their influence has hardly faltered almost 30 years later. In 2021 the girls were back – well, without Samantha due to Cattrall's fall out with the rest of the cast – in And Just Like That, the reboot so many longed for but never thought would happen. The excitement was unrivalled but soon fizzled out when Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte were criticised for being unrecognisable to the women fans adored and watching Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez) felt like a punishment when we'd all been so patient. The latest series was praised for getting back on track but it also came with bizarre misfires. In one episode, Lisa Todd Wexley's (Nicole Ari Parker) dad died from a stroke. Fans noted that she claimed he'd already died back in season one. Producers did explain the issue, insisting the father mentioned in season one was her stepfather but fans weren't satisfied with the response. Parker shared a series of iconic Carrie moments and said the columnist with the wardrobe worth millions 'dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all.' Davis, who starred as Charlotte for 27 years, wrote: 'I am profoundly sad. I love our whole beautiful cast and crew. 400 artisans working so hard on our show with deep love. 'And to our loyal fans, we love you forever and ever.' And Just Like That is available to stream on NOW. Got a story?
