Chiefs DL Felix Anudike-Uzomah officially changed his jersey number for 2025 season
This week, the Kansas City Chiefs released the jersey numbers for their rookie class from the 2025 NFL draft.
Though there weren't any major surprises in the highly anticipated reveal, some eagle-eyed Chiefs fans noticed that third-round pick Ashton Gillotte had been assigned No. 97, which defensive lineman Felix Anudike-Uzomah had previously worn.
In a post to Instagram shortly after the announcement, Anudike-Uzomah confirmed that he is set to don the No. 91 jersey next season, marking a return to the number he wore as a collegian during his time with the Kansas State Wildcats.

In years past, defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi wore the No. 91 jersey, but the number became available when the former Florida State Seminole signed with the New York Jets in free agency.
Both Gillotte and Anudike-Uzomah will be counted on to help lead Kansas City's revamped pass-rush in 2025, and both young linemen are heading into the offseason ready to help the Chiefs get back to the Super Bowl, regardless of which jersey number they wear.
