Broncos host TE Evan Engram on free agent visit
The Denver Broncos are bringing in tight end Evan Engram for a free agent visit, ESPN's Adam Schefter first reported on Monday morning.
The Jacksonville Jaguars recently released Engram with a failed physical designation, so it's no surprise that the Broncos want to host him in person before offering a potential contract. Engram underwent shoulder surgery, but KUSA-TV's Mike Klis tweeted the tight end "should check out fine."
If he's truly healthy, Engram could be a candidate to sign with Denver, giving the team a much-needed weapon for young quarterback Bo Nix. Tight end is among the team's biggest positions of need this offseason (it's No. 1 on our list), and Engram also made our list of dream free agent targets for the Broncos.
Engram (6-3, 240 pounds) had a breakout season two years ago when he hauled in 114 receptions for 963 yards and four touchdowns. He was hindered by a hamstring injury and a torn labrum last fall, totaling 47 catches for 365 yards and one score in nine games.

McDuffie posted 59 total tackles with 45 solo and six for loss with half a sack and four QB hits across 16 games. He added a pair of interceptions, 13 passes defended and a forced fumble. If the Chiefs are going to bounce back from a disappointing end to the 2024 campaign, then it will be partly due to the play of their "defensive triplets." The first public glimpse of Lil Wayne's upcoming Tha Carter VI album will be heard on ESPN. 'The Days,' a collaboration between the iconic rapper (and May Rolling Stone cover star) and U2's Bono, is the theme song of the NBA Finals' promotional ad for the first day of the championship series between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers. The network has previously played his 'I Am Not a Human Being,' 'Uproar,' and 'Glory' tracks in the playoffs.
