Only 3 Broncos free agents remain unsigned
And then there were three.
The list of in-house Denver Broncos free agents who remain unsigned shrunk by one player after wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey signed with the New York Giants on Friday.
Denver's only remaining unsigned free agents now are fullback Michael Burton, backup offensive lineman Quinn Bailey and inside linebacker Zach Cunningham.
Burton, 33, has been the team's fullback for the last two years and there have been rumblings that he's expected to return for the 2025 campaign.
Bailey, 29, has been with the team since 2019 and he dressed for 25 games from 2022-2023 as a backup swing tackle/guard used as an extra blocker in jumbo formations. He also started two games as an injury fill-in. Bailey suffered a serious ankle injury last summer and he spent the 2024 season on injured reserve.
Cunningham, 30, joined the team after Alex Singleton was lost a torn ACL last season, but he seems unlikely to return after failing to make an impact at ILB in 2024.

Giants Receiver Dealing With Injury at Minicamp
Giants Receiver Dealing With Injury at Minicamp originally appeared on Athlon Sports. New York Giants receiver Jalin Hyatt is entering the third year of his career, and after his disastrous 2024 campaign, he has found himself fighting for his football life. Advertisement Hyatt's job won't get much easier with veteran boundary receiver Darius Slayton re-signed to a three-year deal and blocking him out of a starting role. But with better quarterback play from Russell Wilson (and in the future, Jaxson Dart), there stands to be more production to go around and more opportunities for everyone, including Hyatt. To his credit, Hyatt has put his discord with the coaching staff behind him and, by all accounts, was having a strong offseason program. That continued at minicamp, although his Tuesday ended early. According to Dan Duggan, the Giants receiver suffered a minor injury at minicamp. 'WR Jalin Hyatt left a drill early in practice and is getting his left leg stretched by a trainer,' Duggan posted. 'He then spoke to Daboll and appears done for the day.' Advertisement Hyatt struggled to hit the ground running as a rookie, finding 23 catches for 373 yards. In Year 2, things got worse. As his quarterbacks crumbled and the offense followed suit, Hyatt caught just eight passes for 62 yards. For now, he needs to earn Wilson's trust. The veteran spoke about his young receiver on Tuesday. 'I think that the biggest thing is just consistency that I can bring to him every day too and just making sure that I'm always giving him the extra opportunities down the field, but also not just down the field, but in any play we've got and spending extra time on the field,' Wilson told reporters. 'And he's got great work ethic, Jalin does, and I think he's got a great grit to him. I think that he wants to be great every day, and he's got all the special pieces to it all. I think what makes a great receiver is his ability to catch the ball and contest the situations. He does a great job of that, and he's got a great opportunity, in my opinion, this year to really set the tone in a great way.' Advertisement Fortunately for Hyatt, there doesn't seem to be much concern about his injury. With a break until training camp, he's set to get healthy and continue his strong offseason before attempting to redeem himself in 2025. 'I've got all the belief in Jalin and who he's going to be and what he's going to mean to us and make clutch plays for us when it really matters in great way. I'm excited for what he's going to do this year and the rest of his career,' said Wilson. Analyst tabs Tennessee Titans' Treylon Burks as a bust candidate
Analyst tabs Tennessee Titans' Treylon Burks as a bust candidate One of the best stories to come out of Phase 3 of the Tennessee Titans' OTAs was the return of wide receiver Treylon Burks to the field in a limited capacity. Burks, who is recovering from an ACL injury that cost him most of the 2024 season, was not expected back until the start of the regular season. However, he did return to the field for positional drills over the last three weeks of practice. Although he was unable to participate in team drills, this was an essential step in his recovery process. Burks' struggles in Nashville have been well documented, so it's no surprise Cody Benjamin of CBS Sports mentioned his name in his article featuring nine potential first-round busts heading into the 2025 season. After being selected No. 18 in the 2022 NFL draft, Burks has been plagued by bad luck and has not been able to live up to the expectations that were set by his selection. Treylon Burks - Tennessee Titans The minute the Tennessee Titans made Burks their first-round pick, the Arkansas product faced unfair expectations, literally entering with the selection acquired in the club's trade of star wide receiver A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles. Things have only gone downhill since then, with Burks missing a combined 25 games due to various injuries, including a torn ACL, over his first three seasons. His best bet for 2025 is quietly building chemistry with new quarterback Cam Ward as the team's No. 3 pass catcher. Why he will bust: There's hardly a role for him anymore, with Tyler Lockett added as a Calvin Ridley complement. Why he won't: Both Ridley and Lockett are over 30, and Ward could be a major upgrade distributing the rock. Our prediction: Will bust Burks faces an uphill climb heading into training camp. Not only did the Titans add significant competition to the wide receiver room, but he is still rehabbing his ACL injury and has not been cleared for team activities. A physical receiver, Burks does have a skill set that could still allow him to carve out a role if he is healthy. Unfortunately, his health and injury history have hindered his development since the Titans drafted him. Will he be on the roster at the start of the 2025 NFL season? No one can tell at this point, but Brian Callahan and the Titans' staff will give him every opportunity IF he is healthy.
