Netflix My Life With The Walter Boys announces major season 3 update
WARNING: This article contains spoilers from My Life With The Walter Boys.
My Life With The Walter Boys season two is merely weeks away, but there's already thrilling news about its third instalment.
The coming-of-age romantic drama truly set tongues wagging when it initially dropped on Netflix two years ago, with Jackie Howard (played by Nikki Rodriguez) compelled to abandon her former existence in New York following the tragic loss of her family.
She's welcomed by her mum's closest mate Katherine Walter (Sarah Rafferty) and resides with her husband and 11 children, comprising 10 boys and one girl, Parker (Alix West Lefler).
A romantic triangle swiftly developed between 15 year old Jackie and siblings Alex (Ashby Gentry) and Cole Walters (Noah LaLonde), but a steamy snog with the latter prompted her to bolt from Colorado in the concluding episode.
Whilst series two will shortly pick up from the explosive events of the inaugural season, Netflix has now delivered a crucial announcement concerning the third chapter.
It was revealed back in May that My Life With The Walter Boys would be making a comeback for series three.
Nevertheless, Netflix has subsequently announced that filming on the third season commenced today, Wednesday, August 6.
Posting on X, previously Twitter, the streaming giant shared a snap of Rodriguez, Gentry and LaLonde alongside the message: "My Life With The Walter Boys season two? August 28. Season three? Now in production."
Supporters couldn't hold back from rushing to the comments section to rejoice, with one viewer penning: "Season two dropping soon and Season 3 already in the works?"
"My Life with the Walter Boys fans are eating good! Can't wait to see where the story goes next.
"Double treat incoming!" a second declared, whilst another shared: "Season two isn't even out yet and we're already getting season three? Nice."
A wave of additional comments also poured in, featuring "Rate this", "wow" and "so excited".
Meanwhile, a viewer remarked: "Already? Don't make us wait another two years then."
Production commenced on August 6 and is understood to be set to wrap on December 1, 2025.
An official premiere date for the third series hasn't been revealed but it is anticipated to arrive sometime in 2026 so the delay will be considerably briefer this time round.
In the interim, enthusiasts have series two to look forward to but how will Jackie's romances with Alex and Cole unfold as she returns to Silver Falls?
My Life With The Walter Boys series two launches on Thursday, August 28, on Netflix.

Iconic Netflix actress looks unrecognisable as she shares throwback snap - but can YOU guess who it is?
An iconic Netflix actress was unrecognisable as she shared a very sweet throwback picture. The Hollywood star , 53, sported a dark blonde bob when pictured as a child in her hometown Barranquilla, Colombia. She captioned the post simply: '#tbt Barranquilla.' These days the power player sports luxuriously glossy long brunette curls and is one of the most highly paid stars on TV. Can you guess who it is? That's right, it's Sofia Vergara. The heart-melting picture comes after the Colombian-American siren revealed she had a second operation on her knee which she had worked on for the first time last year. 'It's done! Round 2 ❤️❤️#knee,' wrote the brunette as she was seen in a gown while in a hospital bed with a patch and brace on her leg. In August 2024, the Modern Family star shared a look at the long scar on her knee after undergoing 'major' surgery. She had on a strapless white dress with her knee propped up as she thanked her 'handsome' doctor boyfriend Dr. Justin Saliman for helping her out; they have since split. 'If u ever get a mayor (sic) knee surgery make sure u Get a handsome doctor who will sleep with u that night!!!!' she wrote in an Instagram story with a picture of her boyfriend standing by her bed. It's unclear how the Netflix star hurt her knee. Meanwhile, Sofiaa finalized her divorce from ex-husband Joe Manganiello, 47, earlier this month. Court papers obtained by Page Six, indicate the dissolution of the Vergara-Manganiello marriage was made in accordance with the pre-nuptial agreement the couple made prior to their November 2015 marriage. The documents indicated he received all of his 'earnings and accumulations' from the date of their separation, July 2, 2023 in addition to his clothing, jewelry and 'miscellaneous personal effects.' The pair noted they never had 'any community property' between them. Sofia's settlement was similar, providing her with her own belonging, jewelry and earnings since the separation. The original reason for the divorce was 'irreconcilable differences' but Vergara later revealed in an interview with El País the fracture was over whether or not to have children. 'My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids and I didn't want to be an old mom.' She explained to the outlet, 'I feel it's not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that's not for me anymore. I'm almost in menopause; it's the natural way of things,' she stated. Earlier this month Sofia turned 53. The femme fatale was on vacation at Nammos in Europe with her pals when she celebrated another trip around the sun. She posed in a white bikini as she dug into a colorful cake while surrounded by bouquets of flowers. The post saw the two of them together as he wrote 'happy birthday' over the snapshot. Sofia is single after splitting with Dr Justin Saliman after her Joe Manganiello divorce. Last month Sofia gave an insight into what she's looking for in her next relationship, saying she wants her next boyfriend to be as rich as she is. She admitted that she needs 'fun in [her] life' - but she isn't interested in dating someone who isn't financially independent. Asked what she is looking for in her next relationship, Sofia said on the Today show: 'I want to say the basic stuff, like health and somebody that loves me. And somebody tall, handsome.' 'I want somebody that has as much money as me or more, because if not, it's a nightmare. They end up resenting you.' The Hollywood star - who was married to actor Joe between 2015 and 2024 - shared: 'I've been single now for a year and a half, and I kind of panicked once I got divorced. I was like, "I'm 52, what's gonna happen? Where am I going to find [someone]?"'

Woman takes video of Magaluf party strip in 2025 and reality is devastating
An eye-opening video shows the sad reality of the once-bustling Magaluf strip – as a local questions whether it has 'changed forever'. So would you still visit? Magaluf, once synonymous with sun-soaked fun, beach frolics, and raucous nightlife, has seen its allure wane lately. And a stark video exposes the sad state of this once-thriving Majorcan hotspot. At the start of the season, the sight of vacant sun loungers was telling. What's more, pub landlords confessed to adjusting opening hours in response to the changing tourist demographic. This downturn in visitor numbers is attributed to stringent measures against disorderly holidaymakers. The notorious Punta Ballena strip came under fire when former Majorca official Jose Ramon Bauza denounced it as "500 metres of shame". Bauza's scathing critique followed an incident where a young woman was duped into performing indecent acts for what she believed was a complimentary holiday, only to be rewarded with a cocktail mockingly named 'Holiday'. Additionally, hefty fines up to £50,000 were imposed for perilous balcony-jumping antics. Then, in a bid to curb 'drunken tourism', strict alcohol rules were enacted. All-inclusive resorts scaled back their free-flowing booze, street drinking incurred fines of £1,300, and late night closures of off-licences were enforced. These regulatory shifts appear to have deterred tourists, leading to one holidaymaker showing the current sombre scene in Magaluf this summer. In a video shared on TikTok earlier this week, the question was posed: "Has Magaluf Strip changed forever in 2025? Not what I expected in August 2025." Alex, a British woman who has been working in the travel industry for over two decades and residing in Majorca since 2005, expressed her surprise. The YouTuber, who has nearly 50,000 subscribers, confesses she's "absolutely passionate about promoting the island positively". However, she was taken aback during a recent visit to Magaluf. She ventured into the lively area around 11pm, revealing how eerily quiet it was as she strolled down the strip. The road, typically bustling with taxis, seemed deserted for most of the night. Alex remarked: "I thought it would be a lot busier than this, I am quite surprised to see Magaluf like this. It looks more like April... I can't believe it. It's not looking very busy at all. Despite the presence of numerous security guards outside bars, Alex noted they were "not needed really". She pondered: "Is this the way Magaluf is going?" The Majorca resident speculated that Palma Nova could potentially become "the new Magaluf", having noticed increased activity in this area. However, she admitted it "still [isn't] the crowds expected in August". On YouTube, viewers voiced their opinions about the transformation of the popular party destination. One reminisced: "Back in the day, you wouldn't be able to move in Magaluf in the peak summer months." Another lamented: "Dead atmosphere, it's a bit sad. It's got an end of season feel about it. I remember going more than twenty years ago in August and the streets and bars were all packed." One person expressed their concern: "Feel very sad to see the bars empty like that. If this continues a lot of bars will close the doors this season and not reopen next year." A former rep reminisced: "I repped there in 2008 for Thomas Cook in the hotel which used to be Majorca beach now Meliá south beach, we used to take 500 people onto the strip on bar crawl once a week, it used to be rammed." Some have even admitted to abandoning Majorca for other destinations that offer better value for money and a warmer welcome to tourists. An individual revealed their travel plans: "I'm going to Rhodes next Saturday. It costs less than half of what I'd have to pay in Majorca. And they welcome tourists."

The One Show's Alex Jones confesses parents 'critique' show after every episode
The One Show host has admitted that her parents call her after every episode to give their feedback of her presenting skills or her outfit of choice Alex Jones' parents ring her after each episode of The One Show to critique her performance. Despite the 48-year-old star having chalked up 15 years of experience fronting the BBC One magazine programme, her mum Mary and dad Alun always find a fault - be it Alex needing more makeup or the colour of their daughter's dresses not suiting her. She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Every night. And they won't always have a comment on the show. I mean, Dad, to be fair, doesn't get a word in because there's always Mum, but she'll say things like, 'Yeah, I just thought you needed a bit more blusher tonight.' Thank you for that. "Or she'll say, 'That colour is not very you.' And I'm like, 'OK, well, three million people were watching, so that's good!' But actually, it's so lovely that they care." It comes after a Strictly Come Dancing star pulls out of show as he makes career announcement. Despite Mary and Alun being "picky" about how Alex performed in each episode of The One Show, they more often than not praise their daughter. The TV presenter added: "Sometimes you can feel when it's been a really good show, and nine times out of 10, they reflect that. "They go, 'Oh, that was a good show, wasn't it?'" Alex joked that she knows if a show went well if her parents say an episode was "good". The star continued: "But they're very picky, so if we get a 'that was a good show' from Mary and Alun, we know we're doing something right." And Alex's dad was thrilled that she and her former The One Show co-host Chris Evans, 59, interviewed The Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger, 82, Keith Richards, 81, the late Charlie Watts, and Ronnie Wood, 78, for a special episode in November 2012. She recalled: "I remember way back in the early days, Mum and Dad had rung one night, as they do every night after the show, and they went, 'What are you doing tomorrow then?' "I said, 'Well, the show's a bit different tomorrow. I think we're going to do a special on The Rolling Stones.' "I didn't know... I mean, I knew their names, I knew there were four of them. "My dad nearly collapsed. He was like, 'Sorry, what?' Put her on loudspeaker, Mary. What's she saying?'" Alex joined The One Show in 2010 and co-hosted alongside Jason Manford, 44. She then went on to present the programme with Matt Baker, 47, from 2010 until 2020, and Jermaine Jenas, 42, from 2020 until 2024. Alex now fronts The One Show with Roman Kemp, 32, Vernon Kay, 51, JB Gill, 38, Clara Amfo, 41, and Lauren Laverne, 47.
