Next quarterback up here, Drake May, 112th overall selection, qb 16, um, Josh, what did you think of Drake May's rookie season and how are we feeling heading into this year?
I love him, he can do no wrong, he's perfect.
Uh, Drake May is just freaking sweet.
We talk about how Caleb Williams, the situation piled on top of also his bad plays.
Drake May could have easily been in the same exact boat, and yet Drake May put the team on his back and like lifted everyone around him to the degree that all these bad football players could be lifted.
Sorry if I offend people for calling NFL players bad, but in comparison to other, you know, players at those spots.
Uh, he was with a bunch of nobodies.
And yet Drake May was still electric.
He still held onto the football as long as possible to give his players actual chances to get open down the field, and he is already one of the most mobile, athletic scrambling quarterbacks in the league.
I think he was what?
Either #2 or #3 in yards per game when it came came to running the football.
And Matt, that was without a single designed run last season.
So I just can't wait for Josh McDaniels to add that into his bag.
What Josh McDaniels did with Cam Newton during, you know, that final season basically in the league that he had as a full-time starter, and, uh, just build an offense around the strengths of what Drake May brings because, uh, I, I am obsessed with Drake May as a prospect in the league.
I'm also very excited about Drake May.
He's a great pick at QB 16, even if he doesn't take a leap.
Again, I think the rushing ability for May is still very understated, will make him a great fantasy quarterback.

Tom Brady powdered my ass on Patriots sideline: ‘It was embarrassing'
Mark this as yet another example of Tom Brady's hatred for sweaty centers. During an appearance on the 'Games with Names' podcast with Julian Edelman, former Patriots lineman Ted Karras recalled a wild story of a time Brady dried off his behind during a game. 'Tom takes all the centers to the side. If you're going to play center at any point, even just an undrafted guy, he'll teach you how to fold [your towel] and put it into your ass,' Karras said. '… I was on Tom's team and apparently too wet for him. He literally pulls me off to the sideline, screams in my face that I'm a sweaty pig. 3 Former Patriots center had a hilarious story about Tom Brady's hatred for wet centers on Julian Edelman's 'Games with Names' podcast. Games with Names podcast/X 'And then pulls my pants out and powders my ass with baby powder in front of everyone.' Karras admitted he had no choice but to listen to his Hall of Fame quarterback. 'I was kind of embarrassed. I mean, all the fans were looking, like 15,000 people at Gillette Stadium. But I would always just do whatever he said,' Karras said. Karras is far from the first ball snapper to dish on Brady's troubles with wet backsides when trying to throw the ball downfield. 3 New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (12) points to Benjamin Watson (84) after a play during the first half of an NFL football game against the New York Jets, Monday, Oct. 21, 2019, in East Rutherford, N.J. AP In 2019, Dan Connolly, who played center with Brady in New England for six seasons, told The Athletic that the quarterback stuck a towel down his pants after wiping the sweat wasn't working. 'He literally stood behind me, took his hand, and stuck the towel down my pants,' Connolly told the outlet. 'I walked around that game, feeling like I was carrying a loaded diaper the entire time. It was the most uncomfortable thing, but he was so crazy about not getting his hands wet that he would stuff s— down our pants.' 3 New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady under center in the 2nd quarter against the Jets in 2019. Charles Wenzelberg/New York Post That preference carried over to Tampa Bay and immediately became apparent during his first team workout with the Buccaneers when center Ryan Jensen posted on social media about Brady's pet peeve. ''First you fold the towel once, then over its self again. Put it down your crack and douse in baby powder. No more ass sweat.' –@TomBrady #sweatmetigation101,' Jensen tweeted in May 2020.

Patriots reveal 2025 game dates for alternate uniforms
The New England Patriots announced when fans can expect to see them wearing their popular throwback uniforms. On social media, the Patriots revealed that they'll be wearing the red "Pat Patriot" throwbacks for their Week 3 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers and their Week 10 game against the New York Giants during the 2025 season. The Pat Patriot uniforms served as the team's primary uniforms from 1960-1992. To this very day, some still consider the red jerseys the best look for the Patriots. So it's no surprise to see fans excited when the team can dig them out of the closet for games. The Patriots are looking to have a bounce-back year after finishing with a 4-13 record in their last two seasons. Even with an easier schedule on paper, they'll have their work cut out for them in turning things around in a tough AFC East division. Here's to hoping the throwbacks take the team back to the time when they dominated the rest of the NFL. They'll need every win they can get to compete this season.
