SSLC results to be declared on May 9

Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty will announce the results of the SSLC examinations held in March at 3 p.m. on Friday.
Results of the THSLC, THSLC (Hearing Impaired), SSLC (Hearing Impaired), and the AHSLC examinations will also be declared at 3 p.m.
The SSLC results will be available from 4 p.m. on the Information and Public Relations department's PRD Live mobile app and on the following websites: https://pareekshabhavan.kerala.gov.in; https://kbpe.kerala.gov.in; https://results.digilocker.kerala.gov.in; https://sslcexam.kerala.gov.in; https://prd.kerala.gov.in; https;//results.kerala.gov.in; https://examresults.kerala.gov.in; https://results.kite.kerala.gov.in
The results will also be available through the Saphalam mobile app of Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE).
The SSLC (Hearing Impaired) results will be available on http://sslchiexam.kerala.gov.in; THSLC results on https://thslcexam.kerala.gov.in/thslc/index.php; THSLC (Hearing Impaired) results on http://thslchiexam,kerala.gov.in; and AHSLC results on http://ahslcexam.kerala.gov.in
As many as 4.26 lakh students appeared for the SSLC examinations in the regular category across 2,964 centres in the State, nine in Lakshadweep, and seven in the Gulf region.
The number of candidates from the Gulf region was 682 and that from Lakshadweep was 447. Eight students appeared for the examination in the old scheme.
A total of 3,057 students (2,815 boys and 242 girls) appeared for the THSLC examinations in 48 examination centres.
Sixty-five students appeared for the AHSLC examination in the only exam centre in the State.
A total of 206 students appeared for the SSLC (Hearing Impaired) examination in 29 exam centres and 12 students for the THSLC (Hearing Impaired) examination at the sole exam centre for it.

The Minister also expressed hope that this would create more joyful and colourful school memories.

Ballari: A minor girl in a village in Hagaribommanahalli taluk prevented her marriage by calling the helpline, defying her parents' decision. Midday meal beneficiary students to get 4 kg of rice for Onam

Students who are beneficiaries of the midday meal scheme will be given 4 kg of rice each for Onam, Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty has said. Nearly 24.8 lakh students from pre-primary to Class VIII will benefit. The government has given permission for the rice to be distributed from the stocks of the Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation (Supplyco). Supplyco will also transport the rice to schools. Besides the current transportation charges, an additional 50 paise a kg will be given. Directions have been given to Supplyco to lift stocks from neighbouring districts in case of shortage in a particular district.
