Mums night out! Beatrice and Eugenie glam up to attend a restaurant opening in Mayfair

Daily Mail25-04-2025
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie turned heads as they stepped out for a fashion event in London last night.
The King 's nieces sported all black for the launch of Mr Porter Steakhouse, a new eatery by men's luxury fashion retailer, Mr Porter, situated on London's affluent Park Lane.
Princess Beatrice, 36, stunned in a casual chic ensemble consisting of a black blazer, a black a line dress and a pair of flat black Mary Jane pointed pumps.
The stylish mother-of-two and stepmother to husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi 's son from a previous relationship opted to leave the blazer open, which showcased a row of decorative gold buttons.
She accessorised the look with a tan leather clutch bag featuring both a top handle and an adjustable strap. Meanwhile her only jewellery of choice for the occasion was a pair of miniature stone encrusted hoops.
The royal's famous auburn hair was styled with loose curls and a middle part, and fell loosely around her shoulders.
Meanwhile her younger sister, Princess Eugenie, 35, looked equally chic in monochrome, albeit her look depicted a more laid back fit.
For the engagement, the fashionista, who shares two children with husband Jack Brooksbank, donned a black wool jumper, a black maxi satin skirt and a pair of chunky-heeled leather boots.
Eugenie teamed the look with a large black leather tote bag, a gold necklace and a pair of stone encrusted hoops - almost identical to those of her sister, with the items differing only in size.
The royal's nude wool coat made for the perfect dash of glamour, while its addition completed a striking colour palette also worn by that of her sister, Prince Beatrice.
The sisters appeared to have planned their looks, as they both sported all black with just a touch of nude.
And if they didn't plan to coordinate their fits, perhaps the coincidence can be put down to uncanny sister's intuition.
Eugenie and Beatrice appeared to be in high spirits as they smiled for the cameras before making their way into the establishment.
Prince Andrew 's daughters were among a list of celebrities who attended the lavish grand opening of the Mr Porter Steakhouse.
Formerly the location of the popular Trader Vic, the steakhouse describes itself as 'extravagant yet modest', and a restaurant that 'fearlessly explores the borders between dinner and sinner'.
Guests can expect to dine on premium steaks, lobster, chips and 'perfectly poured' cocktails.
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are no strangers to donning their fashionable best, as they did for the Royal Family's traditional Easter Sunday service in Windsor last week.
Princess Beatrice was seen making a striking fashion statement in a stylish gold patterned headband as she chatted with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in the grounds of St George's Chapel ahead of the seasonal service.
The princess looked stunning in the gold and black headpiece, which kept her famous auburn hair neatly pinned back for the religious service.
It also featured a black-coloured bow which was fixed towards the back of the accessory, and made for a stylish touch.
The princess teamed the striking headgear with a form-fitting forest green midi dress that cinched at the waist courtesy of a wide-set belt.
The dress was contrasted by a block of white pearl buttons placed across its front and along its sleeves.
And the royal accessorised the look with a pair of green satin Mary Jane heels and a dark blue clutch bag with a decorative jewelled handle.
She was pictured arriving at the Easter service hand in hand with her husband Edoardo, 41, who donned a suave blue linen suit and yellow tie.
Meanwhile her younger sister, Princess Eugenie, looked elegant in all white and a matching veiled headpiece.
Eugenie also opted for a bold choice for the engagement as the elaborate headgear, whose veil covered a large portion of her face, was sure to capture attention at the service.
The royal fashionista completed the ensemble with a white longline belted coat, nude suede pointed pumps and a nude tote bag.
She appeared to be in high spirits as she smiled and chatted away with her husband Jack Brooksbank, 38, and her mother Sarah, Duchess of York.
At one point before the service she was spotted entering the grounds with her uncle, Prince Edward, along with his wife, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, and their 17-year-old son, James, Earl of Wessex.
The sisters looked delighted as they were captured in various photographs with their family members.
The presence of their father, Prince Andrew, at the service also turned heads. He attended the Easter service alongside King Charles, Queen Camilla and other members of the royal family.

Princess Beatrice's heartbreaking question after Prince Andrew and Sarah's decision

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Princess Beatrice once posed a heart-wrenching question during a Royal event, shedding light on the impact of her parents' split on the young Royal. Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson tied the knot in an extravagant ceremony at Westminster Abbey in 1986, but their relationship soon faced challenges. Due to Andrew's naval career requiring him to be away at sea for extended periods, the couple reportedly spent fewer than 40 days together in their first year of wedded bliss. Over time, the distance began to wear on them, and by March 1992, the Duke and Duchess of York announced they were parting ways. Despite maintaining a friendly relationship, Sarah's Royal standing quickly dwindled. A less than flattering biography of the disgraced duke by Andrew Lownie, titled The Rise and Fall of the House of York, illustrated how stark the change was during a procession at Royal Ascot, one of the most esteemed events in the Royal calendar, reports the Mirror. Just a year prior, the Duchess had the honour of riding in a carriage alongside the Queen Mother. However, post-separation, Sarah found herself relegated to the sidelines, watching the Royal procession pass by from the roadside. Standing next to her was Princess Beatrice, who was still too young to comprehend why her mother was no longer part of the spectacle. Lownie said: "Sarah's reduced status was quickly evident. The previous Ascot, she had been riding in a carriage with the Queen Mother. Now she watched from the roadside as the Queen passed by. Beatrice cried out, 'Can we come too?' The Queen just carried on waving." (Image: UK Press via Getty Images) (Image: Getty) (Image: (Image: UK Press via Getty Images)) The biography presents a consistently damaging portrayal of Prince Andrew, with Lownie describing him as fixated on sex, a "useful idiot," and vulnerable target for Jeffrey Epstein. Two-thirds of Britons believe the Duke of York should be stripped of his remaining Royal titles, according to fresh polling data. Research conducted by YouGov revealed that 67% of the public would support removing Andrew's Duke of York title, along with his princely designation. Parliamentary legislation would be necessary to stop Andrew from continuing as the Duke of York, whilst his inherited right to be a prince, as the child of a sovereign, could be altered if Letters Patent were issued by the King. The duke ceased using his His Royal Highness style after his catastrophic Newsnight interview, though it could be withdrawn completely through Letters Patent. Andrew withdrew from public duties in 2019 following the furore surrounding his association with convicted billionaire Jeffrey Epstein. He subsequently paid millions to resolve a civil sexual assault lawsuit with Virginia Giuffre, who was trafficked by Epstein as a teenager, and whom Andrew maintained he had never encountered.

Princess Beatrice's heartbreaking question after Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson decision

Princess Beatrice's childhood was marked by heartbreak at a royal event, when she witnessed her mother, Sarah Ferguson, sidelined following her separation from Prince Andrew Princess Beatrice once asked a heartbreaking question during a royal event, revealing the impact of her parents' separation on the young princess. ‌ Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson married in a lavish ceremony at Westminster Abbey in 1986, but their relationship soon came under strain. ‌ With Andrew away at sea for long stretches due to his naval career, the couple reportedly spent less than 40 days together in their first year of marriage. ‌ Over time, the distance took its toll, and by March 1992, the Duke and Duchess of York announced their separation. Although the pair remained on friendly terms, Sarah's royal status diminished rapidly. An unflattering biography of the disgraced duke by Andrew Lownie, titled The Rise and Fall of the House of York, depicted how evident the change was during a procession at Royal Ascot, one of the most prestigious events in the royal calendar. Just a year earlier, the Duchess had enjoyed the privilege of riding in a carriage alongside the Queen Mother. After the separation, however, Sarah was forced to watch from the roadside as the royal procession passed by. Beside her stood Princess Beatrice, who was still too young to understand why her mother was no longer part of the pageantry. Lownie said: 'Sarah's reduced status was quickly evident. The previous Ascot, she had been riding in a carriage with the Queen Mother. Now she watched from the roadside as the Queen passed by. Beatrice cried out, 'Can we come too?' The Queen just carried on waving.' ‌ The biography paints a relentlessly unflattering portrait of Prince Andrew, with Lownie depicting him as sex-obsessed, a 'useful idiot,' and easy prey for Jeffrey Epstein. Two-thirds of Britons believe the Duke of York should be stripped of his remaining royal titles, according to a new poll. ‌ Research by YouGov found that 67% of the public would back the removal of Andrew's Duke of York title, as well as his princely style. Legislation would be required for Parliament to prevent Andrew continuing as the Duke of York, while his birthright to be a prince, as the son of a monarch, could be changed if a Letters Patent were issued by the King. The duke stopped using his style of His Royal Highness following his disastrous Newsnight interview, but it could be removed entirely by a Letters Patent. Andrew stepped away from public life in 2019 amid controversy over his friendship with convicted billionaire Jeffrey Epstein. He later paid millions to settle a civil sexual assault case with Virginia Giuffre, who was trafficked by Epstein as a teenager, and whom Andrew claimed never to have met.

Princess Beatrice and Eugenie facing 'horrid time' after lurid Prince Andrew claims

A royal expert has revealed how the York sisters would be 'utterly mortified' in light of the new claims against their father, and why they haven't defended his actions As a wave of new allegations against Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have come to light in an explosive new biography, their daughters have remained quiet throughout the scandal. ‌ Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice have been keeping their heads down and have made no comments since the claims made in Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York by Andrew Lownie went public. ‌ While the two women have continued their philanthropic work amid the media storm around their parents, one royal expert has claimed that the sisters would be having a 'very difficult' time with the spotlight once again on their family. It comes as Brits call for 'terrified' Prince Andrew to pay the ultimate price for scandals. ‌ In Lownie's book, he makes wild claims about Andrew and Fergie's turbulent relationship, the family's finances, how the royal family at large are struggling to cope with them, and the many affairs both the Duke and Duchess of York allegedly engaged in. According to royal expert Ingrid Seward, who has also written biographies on the royal family, she believes both York daughters will be "finding this very difficult – it's a horrid time". "I'm not surprised they haven't come out and said anything in his defence. For his girls to show their solidarity publicly wouldn't benefit them in any way," Seward said, according to the Daily Mail. Another source also suggested to the publication: 'They're keeping their distance from their dad.' ‌ Lownie has described the explosive biography as a "tale of childhood trauma, infidelity, lust, betrayal, corruption, greed, extravagance, arrogance, entitlement, establishment cover-up and hubris". The timing of the book's release conflicted with Princess Beatrice's 37th birthday, which former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said would've had a huge impact on her big day. Bond also suggested that Beatrice would feel protective over her parents, and may have had to scale down her birthday celebrations as a result of the fresh allegations. ‌ Jennie told the Mirror: 'Love is blind, they say. And, in spite of all their faults, Andrew and Fergie have retained the unconditional love and loyalty of their two daughters. This week's avalanche of lurid reports about their father, and tales of their mother's irresponsible extravagance, will have been an unwelcome 37th birthday gift for Beatrice — but her instinct will be once again to protect her parents and ignore the noise. 'By now, she has probably come to terms with the fact that Andrew should never have done the disastrous Newsnight interview which directly led to his downfall, and she should not have been with him or supported his decision to speak out.'
