Boots reduces 'glorious' £94 designer perfume that 'smells mysterious' to £33
Shoppers have been praising an online deal that has massively discounted a perfume that usually costs close to £100. People claim it gets "so many compliments" when worn, and some think it smells far more expensive than the 'bargain' it is.
Calvin Klein Euphoria for Women is normally worth £94 for a 100ml bottle. But as part of a major discount, shoppers can pick up the same-sized bottle at Boots for just £33 - a saving of more than £60.
It is described as a bottle of "sensual femininity" by Boots. The store added: "Drawing inspiration from the delicate curves of an orchid in bloom, this floral fragrance is a nod to this feminine flower and is housed in a silver metal and purple glass bottle."
The health and beauty shop lists the main ingredient as a "captivating essence of black orchid" along with the delicately soft petals of lotus blossom and violet. These floral scents are balanced with fruity tones that mix pomegranate and persimmon for "a juicy allure", while a cream accord and mahogany provide a "velvety richness that lingers on the skin".
There are plenty of perfume deals on at the moment if shoppers want to treat themselves or grab a gift for someone special. Superdrug's current promotion features Ghost Orb of Night, dropped from £44 to £36, while The Perfume Shop offers the coveted Gucci Rush at an impressively reduced price of £34.99, down from £79.
But, it's the Calvin Klein offer at Boots which has shoppers excited to buy. One said: "Calvin Klein's Euphoria is my favourite perfume. I have never smelt a perfume that smells so amazing and stays put for the day! I can spray loads, and it doesn't smell overpowering. I'd definitely recommend it to any ladies out there looking for a new perfume to try. It's definitely value for money!"
Another added: "My fiancé bought this for me, and it's fab. I know perfumes can vary in smell and how long they last from person to person, but I struggle to find a long-lasting fragrance, and this one is great. So many people have complimented me on it!"
A third shared: "This glorious perfume has a long-lasting scent. I am often asked what I am wearing as it is so refreshing and light. It is a fabulous new find for me." And, one more called it an "elegant" bottle perfume that "smells like it shoudl cost much more".
However, not all shoppers were thrilled. One claimed: "I am a bit disappointed with the longevity of the scent. It doesn't last very long on the body or clothes, which makes it a bit inconvenient."
Another added: "I understand that everybody has personal preference for fragrances but I dislike it so much. It is way too sweet and every single time I tried to use it ended up in a migraine!" And, one more critic said: "What has happened to this Euphoria perfume? It has no lasting scent. It used to be an intense perfume with a lovely lasting smell - now it smells cheap!"
But, the majority of reviews were positive. Another said: "A mature scent. It lasts a long time and the packaging is very classy! I use it for formal occasions or for occasions that I want to smell more mysterious." One more put: "Can't resist it's aroma.. People can detect you even before you enter the area."

Sydney Sweeney causes wild jump in struggling retailer's stock price after surprise announcement
Sydney Sweeney is giving American Eagle new star power — and its stock price a major jolt. The Hollywood A-lister, who made her name in Euphoria, White Lotus and Anyone But You, is the face of the denim brand's fall campaign. News of the collaboration sent American Eagle's ailing stock up more than five percent Thursday morning, even though the stock is still down 45 percent over the past year. It is usually the investments from titans like Warren Buffet that move stocks that much. Some analysts say the spike puts American Eagle in line to join other 'meme stocks' — companies whose prices are driven more by online hype than fundamentals. The trend took off during the pandemic as bored workers stuck at home plotted on social media to push up prices of struggling stocks like GameStop and AMC in a bid to spite hedge funds that had better the would fall more. Eventually, those stocks collapsed as their businesses couldn't support the social media-fueled hype. The meme stock craze returned this week. Kohl's saw its stock surge 40 percent in one day after a frenzy of share buying. 'Once a stock falls under the 'meme' category, the price movements can be violent and volatile, so it's certainly not for everyone,' Bret Kenwell, a US investment analyst at eToro, previously told 'Chasing can result in being burned.' However, American Eagle will be hoping that retaining the Anyone But You bombshell is enough to revive its bottom line. 'With Sydney Sweeney front and center, she brings the allure,' president Jennifer Foyle said. 'We add the flawless wardrobe for the winning combo of ease, attitude and a little mischief.' Sweeney's campaign will focus on American Eagle's most famous product, its denim jeans. 'I have great jeans…now you can too,' wrote Sweeney on Instagram as she debuted one of the commercials. Sweeney — who has previously partnered with brands such as Dr. Squatch, Baskin-Robbins and Jimmy Choo — has also designed her own American Eagle jeans with a butterfly design. The collaboration sent American Eagle's stock up more than five percent on Thursday morning Sweeney, pictured in hit film Anyone But You, also designed her own jeans for the campaign The company's stock price is still down 45 percent over the last year All net proceeds from the jeans will benefit Crisis Text Line. Meanwhile, Sweeney is preparing to launch her own lingerie brand — with some very powerful backers. The venture has backing from Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos and his new wife, Lauren Sanchez, who have invested in new brand. A source told Us Weekly that her new lingerie line is launching 'very soon.' 'This has been a huge project for her and something she's been working on for the last year,' the source added.

Olivia Attwood's go-to SPF 50 face sunscreen that's 'so good under make-up' now on sale
Love Island's Olivia Attwood recently shared an Instagram video in which she professed her love for this new sunscreen, and fans have been quick to agree Not every celebrity endorsement is worth your money, but this particular recommendation is genuinely brilliant, particularly for the summer months. Ex-Love Island star Olivia Attwood recently shared a sponsored Instagram clip expressing her adoration for La Roche-Posay's newest facial sunscreen, Anthelios UVAir Daily Invisible Fluid SPF50+, and followers have been swift to confirm it's amongst the finest face SPFs available. This ultra-light, oil-controlling variant of La Roche-Posay's bestselling Anthelios UVMUNE 400 Ultra-Light Invisible Fluid SPF50+ makes UVAir essential for summer – and throughout the year – if you despise the sensation of heavy, greasy sun lotions on your skin. Anthelios UVAir typically retails for £25 at major stockists like Boots and Cult Beauty, though it's currently available for £20 at Lookfantastic and Sephora. " It's the best," several users commented beneath Olivia's initial post, with the star recently highlighting this follow-up message from an admirer: "I cannot thank you enough for your recommendation of the La Roche-Posay Factor 50+. Just spent a week in Portugal and it's the first time in 47 years that I haven't burnt my face at all! And only after one application a day!" Naturally, if you're planning to spend a significant amount of time in the sun, it's crucial to reapply your SPF regularly throughout the day – one application isn't enough. If you're wearing make-up, an over-the-top mist like Garnier Ambre Solaire Over Makeup Super UV Face Mist SPF50+, currently reduced from £13 to £8.67 at Boots, or Naked Sundays SPF50+ Hydrating Glow Mist, presently priced at £16.20, could be ideal, reports OK!. Lookfantastic customers have also been praising UVAir's benefits, with one stating, "I could not wait to try this and I haven't been disappointed, the texture is amazing and is so good for under make-up." "This SPF50 is magic!" another concurred. "SPFs generally tend to make skin oily even when they promise not to - not this one however! Super lightweight, non-greasy formula." "So pleased I tried this," reads a third five-star review. "It's everything they say. Such a unique texture, totally non greasy. Sits well under make-up. No pilling or white cast. Velvety and perfect." Indeed, the only gripe some shoppers had was that it contains fragrance – something not everyone appreciates in a skincare product. "It's really nice and absorbs into the skin well. It is also lightweight. But the fragrance is a little strong," one person noted on the Boots website. If you're after a completely fragrance-free face SPF, you might prefer CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF50, currently £12.37, or Dr Sam's Flawless Daily Sunscreen SPF 50, priced at £31.
