BREAKING NEWS Arrest made in murder of American Idol executive and her husband at LA mansion as chilling new details emerge
Police arrested 22-year-old Raymond Boodarian on Tuesday following the grisly discovery of award winning music supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband Thomas Deluca, both 70, on Monday afternoon.
Boodarian is not believed to have had any relationship with his alleged victims.
Police allege he was burglarizing the home on July 10 when the couple unexpectedly arrived home.
CCTV footage allegedly shows Boodarian entering the home about 30 minutes before the couple got home. He did not force entry, and instead found an open way to get inside.
He allegedly shot them both dead during a struggle when they caught him in the act. Police believe it was an isolated event, and that Boodarian acted alone.
Two calls were made to the LAPD about a possible burglary on the day of the couple's deaths, but when officers responded they were unable to get inside because the home is 'highly fortified', ABC reported.
They saw no visible signs of forced entry and a helicopter which flew overhead did not alert officers to any dangers, so they left the scene.
They returned to the six-bedroom four days later at 2.30pm following a call for a welfare check, shattering a back window to gain access to the home.
When they entered, they discovered Kaye and Deluca both shot in the head.
Authorities witnessed blood at the front entrance of the couple's home before breaking through a window to enter the property, a source told TMZ.
According to neighbors, a person, who may have been armed, was spotted hopping a fence on the tree-lined street in the ritzy California neighborhood.
Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department were called to the six-bedroom home (pictured) for a welfare check, but when they entered, they discovered Kaye and Deluca's lifeless bodies

After hearing of the tragic deaths, American Idol issued a statement, calling Kaye 'a cornerstone of the Idol family.'
'We are devastated to hear of Robin and her dear husband, Tom's, passing,' a spokesperson told Daily Mail.
'Robin has been a cornerstone of the Idol family since 2009 and was truly loved and respected by all who came in contact with her.
'Robin will remain in our hearts forever and we share our deepest sympathy with her family and friends during this difficult time.'
Kaye worked as the music supervisor for singing competition American Idol for the last 15 seasons, or nearly 300 episodes, per her IMDB page.
Over the years, she won several Guild of Music Supervisors Awards for her work on the show.
She also worked for other well-known shows, including Lip Sync Battle, Hollywood Game Night, and Worn Stories.
Kaye also worked for the NAACP Image Awards, The Singing Bee, Miss USA, Miss Universe, American Inventor, The Dance Scene, Dance Your A** Off, Your Chance to Dance and Adventures of Power and Crashed.
During the 7th Annual Guild of Music Supervisors Awards in Hollywood in 2017, Kaye spoke about her career path, which she said was often unappreciated.
'It's one of those parts of the business that people don't even know it exists,' Kaye said.
'It's a very important part of films and TV. Pretty much everything in the entertainment industry has music in it and people just think that it's there.'
Her husband was a musician who last released an album called Street Rock in 2022.
His first 'acclaimed cult favorite debut' album. 'Down To The Wire,' was released by Epic Records in 1986, Deluca's website detailed.
Deluca penned songs for popular hit makers, including Kid Rock, the band Molly Hatchet and Meredith Brooks.
The couple purchased the home in January 2023, according to public records.
It was previously owned by late rapper Juice WRLD who died in 2019 from an overdose, neighbors told KTLA.
The home was also used a rental property before being sold to the couple, neighbors said.

Migrant, 26, 'forced himself onto suicidal mother and kissed her on the lips when she refused to go back to his asylum hotel with him'
A migrant forced a kiss on a suicidal mother's mouth after she refused to go back with him to his asylum hotel. Zayed Alanzi, 26, stalked the woman before he grabbed her by the cheeks, kissed her and shoved his tongue inside. She fought him off and then distracted him to stop the predator potentially targeting a teenage girl nearby before police arrived. She said he 'would not take no for an answer', according to The Sun. 'He asked me to go up a road. I said "No. I'm going that way" and that's when the police turned up.' 'I told him I wanted to be left alone on numerous occasions.' The married man was staying at the Royal Hotel in Hull, claimed the woman consented to the kiss. However the victim insisted he was a stranger. Alanzi claimed in his evidence that he was just trying to help the mother during the early hours of April 28. The sex attacker was jailed for a year last week - but could serve half his sentence as it is said officials may have him deported. He has also been ordered to pay £187 and was put on the sex offender register. It comes as violent protests erupted outside an asylum hotel last week following the arrest of an Ethiopian resident accused of sexually assaulting schoolgirls. Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu, 38, was charged with a number of sexual offences. He was arrested by officers on July 8 after reports of a man acting inappropriately towards a number of people. Kebatu appeared at Colchester Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 10, and denied all offences. He was charged with three counts of sexual assault, as well as one count of inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity and one count of harassment without violence.

Dog the Bounty Hunter's grandson, 13, shot and killed by his own dad in family tragedy
DOG the Bounty Hunter's 13-year-old step-grandson has been shot dead by his own dad. The reality star's step-son shot and killed Dog's step-grandson - in what is believed to have been a tragic accident, TMZ reported. 6 6 6 6 Dog, whose real name is Duane Chapman, is married to Francie, whose son Gregory Zecca, 38, reportedly killed his teenage son Anthony at their apartment in Naples, Florida. The freak accident occurred on Saturday night. Dog, 78, is not directly related to Zecca or his tragic teenage son - since he was born during Francie's previous marriage. Police confirmed that they responded to a call about a shooting at around 8pm local time. No arrests have been made yet in what they described as an "isolated incident". An investigation into the circumstances of the horrific accident is still ongoing. A spokesperson for Dog and Francie told TMZ: "We are grieving as a family over this incomprehensible tragic accident and would ask for continued prayers as we grieve the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony." Dog and his wife married in 2021 after each of their partners passed away. They said they bonded over their shared grief during their relationship. Zecca reportedly works with Dog on his bounty hunting team alongside Dog's daughter, Lyssa. Dog's step-son was also a gun enthusiast - and has previously shared photos of him "getting some range tine in" with his son and their rifle back in 2021. Reality personality Dog is a renowned bounty hunter and former bail bondsman. In a 2010 interview with The Guardian, Chapman revealed the hidden meaning behind his name. Chapman told the media outlet: "When I was in a motorcycle gang I was made sergeant of arms. "He's the smallest guy with the biggest mouth who starts all the fights. "The club president called me 'God spelled backwards' because I spoke about God and I was man's best friend. "In the bounty hunter world it turned into 'this dog can hunt'." Chapman rose to fame as a bounty hunter in 2003, after his successful capture of Max Factor heir Andrew Luster in Mexico. He went on to catch more than 10,000 fugitives according to an interview published in The New York Times back in January of 2020. This is not the first time the bounty hunter has been plagued by a freak tragedy. The night before his wedding with former partner Beth in 2006, Dog received the horrific news that his daughter Barbara, 23, had been killed in a car accident while in a stolen SUV in Alaska. 6 .

Shock moment cop smashes man's car window and punches him in the head after stopping him for ‘not having headlights on'
THIS is the shocking moment a cop smashes a man's car window before hitting him in the head after stopping him for not having his headlights on. Footage appears to capture the aggressive traffic stop by Jacksonville Sheriff's officers - and has since gone viral on social media. 5 5 5 The horror incident was posted to Instagram by @904will, who wrote in the caption that he was pulled over in February over his car's headlights - despite there being "no rain, smoke or fog". Footage shows the driver sat in his car as he questions a cop - who is out of shot - on why he was pulled over for not having his headlights on. The driver is heard saying: "There's no rain." A cop responds: "It doesn't matter - you're still required to have headlights on." The driver then asks to see the law, before the officer says they'll show it to him once he agrees to step out of the car. He then asks for "a supervisor" - but, as written in the post's caption, "things escalated quickly". The cop stood behind the driver is then captured on footage shockingly shattering the window with two hits using his fist. He then swaps hands and gives a final punch to the window, with the driver covered in glass with a shocked, scared expression. The cop is heard shouting: "Exit the vehicle now." He then proceeds to disturbingly hit the driver in the head, repeating for him to exit the vehicle. Moment riot cops smash shield into man's face and 'knock his teeth out' in clash after migrant 'sexually assaulted' girl The driver is then asked to show his hands, which he does willingly as cops then open his door and rip him out of the car. He then appears to get punched in the head by the same cop and slammed on the ground. The apparent victim in the horrific encounter said in the caption of the video that he suffered "a chipped tooth and nine plus stitches in my lips". He also said he endured "a concussion and short term memory loss" - adding how "very hard" it was on his mental health. The caption reads: "I'm not mentally healed from this but I had to get the word out eventually." Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters said on Sunday that an internal investigation has been launched. The statement said in part: "We are aware of a video circulating on social media showing a traffic stop represented to be from February 19, 2025. "We have launched an internal investigation into it and the circumstances surrounding this incident. "We hold our officers to the highest standards and are committed to thoroughly determining exactly what occurred". 5
