Son of Sardaar 2, co-written by Jagdeep Singh Sidhu-Mohit Jain and directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, marks the third release of Ajay Devgn this year after Azaad and Raid 2. While Azaad was a box office debacle, Raid 2 couldn't revive the magic of the 2018 film Raid. Apart from Ajay Devgn, the film stars actors Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, late Mukul Dev, Vindu Dara Singh, Mrunal Thakur, Deepak Dobriyal and Chunky Panday, among others.
So far, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior stands at the highest-grossing film of Ajay Devgn with a collection of Rs 277.75 crore. The list is followed by Singham Again (Rs 247.86 crore) and Drishyam 2 (Rs 239.67 crore).
