Teddi Mellencamp receives 'really good' news amid cancer fight
Teddi Mellencamp's body is responding well to immunotherapy.
The 43-year-old TV star recently revealed via social media that her tumours had either shrunk or disappeared since starting her cancer treatment, and Teddi has now delivered another positive update, confirming that her immunotherapy treatment appears to be working.
During her latest appearance on 'Two Ts In a Pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge', she shared: "Last time, they had checked solely my brain, and those tumours are shrinking. And then, today I had the scan, where they checked my lungs and they are shrinking and one of them has shrunk so much you can barely even see it."
Despite this, Teddi will have to continue with immunotherapy - which uses a patient's own immune system to fight cancer - for the next two years.
She said: "So every four weeks for the next two years, I have to come in and get that done. And then every three months I get another scan and we check to make sure that everything is where it is."
Asked whether immunotherapy was controlling or curing her cancer, Teddi replied: "It's both.
"It's making sure that it's getting smaller and then let's say that it gets so small that it disappears, it's making sure that it won't form anywhere else in my body.
"I was a little bit worried about having to live on immunotherapy because you know how I am when I get super emotional on certain days. But I think that the fact that this is all moving in a smooth path forward is really good news."
Teddi recently revealed that her tumours had either "shrunk or disappeared".
The reality TV star took to social media to explain that she was "on course" to make a recovery, amid her ongoing cancer battle.
Teddi wrote on Instagram: "One update I couldn't wait to share!
"All tumors stage 4 (metastasized melanoma in my brain and lungs) shrunk or disappeared so I have 6ish more weeks of immunotherapy and doctors believe I will be healed if everything stays on course.
"Thank you to everyone who has sent their love, prayers, and positivity [heart emojis] (sic)"

While preparing her favourite super smoothie, Donovan elaborated on feeling 'fullness' for the first time thanks to her use of weight loss medication. 'I wanted to talk about some non-scale victories while being on the Juniper program,' she said. 'It's taken me many, many years to understand the satisfaction of what fullness is. 'I can't fit any more in. I physically cannot fit it into my body. 'I've always thought about food (and) how much of it I was going to eat and it occupied a lot of my time (but) now it's just eat for fuel.' Donovan's loyal fans flooded the comment section with support. 'No food noise and eating to fuel sounds amazing,' one fan wrote. 'Will definitely make it! Looks delish,' another user said. Donovan, who recently completed a national tour of Sister Act, first found fame after winning the second season of Australian Idol in 2004, aged just 16. An Inglewood-based dentist has built a unique side hustle in creating custom dental grillz, blending his professional background in clinical dentistry with his strong passion for hip-hop culture. Dr Maheer Shah, also known as Dr Grillz, said his early obsession with Grand Theft Auto set the stage for his unexpected career twist. A backstage encounter with some DJs wearing grillz inspired him to begin experimenting with making them himself. Your local paper, whenever you want it. 'They said you have to go to America to get them,' he said. 'I was like 'I'm a dentist' and then my friends were like 'you should get into grillz' and that was 10 years ago.' Dr Grillz said a lot of people dreaded going to the dentist. 'You don't really get much positive reactions but with this kind of work you build really tight bonds, you become homies,' he said. 'When you get it done they feel like a million dollars. So that just that's so fulfilling compared to pulling out wisdom teeth; no one gets excited for that.' Este Haim's boyfriend dumped her because she has diabetes. The Haim bassist - who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, where the body is unable to produce insulin correctly, when she was 14 years old - had advised her then-partner that there was a chance her future children could also develop the condition, and was stunned when his reaction was to end their relationship. In an interview with Britain's GQ magazine, Este said: "I had a guy break up with me because I said that there was a possibility that our kid would have diabetes.
