IndyCar expert picks, predictions for Mid-Ohio
From Nathan Brown, IndyStar
We're in the back half of a 17-race season, and Palou and Kirkwood are the only drivers to take checkered flags.
Is anyone besides Alex Palou or Kyle Kirkwood allowed to win a race? If so, who?
Marcus Ericsson. Of all the drivers in the field sorely in need of a pick-me-up, the fact that Ericsson sits 21st in points just a single top-10 is one of the year's biggest headscratchers. And yet, he heads to a track where he's finished in the top 6 in 4 of his last 5 starts, and where he started and finished 5th a year ago. He's finished on the podium here before (2021, runner-up), and this is a track where Andretti Global has shown speed in years past.

What is something no one sees coming? Amazingly, we finally get our third winner of the year in Colton Herta. He has only done that in two of his last 10 pole starts. It will be his 10th career victory and Andretti Global's fourth of the year, its most since 2018.

Milwaukee's $269 2-Pack of M18 5Ah Batteries Is Just $105 Right Now, and Shoppers Say They 'Last a Long Time' originally appeared on Men's Journal. The end of Walmart's July Deals event is fast approaching, but there are still plenty of savings to be had on vacuum cleaners, T-shirts, PS5s, and a ton of other products. And while it's not the sexiest deal, getting a pair of power tool batteries for just over $50 apiece is a can't-miss for anyone who hates sitting around, and if your tool set is made by Milwaukee, you're in luck. A two-pack of Milwaukee M18 Lithium-Ion High-Output 5Ah Batteries is just $105, over 60% off its normal $269 price. They're authentic OEM batteries that are compatible with over 250 Milwaukee tools, and they've received 80 five-star ratings. Reviewers confirm that they're 'legit' and that they 'charge fast' and 'last a long time.' Compared to the non-extended capacity batteries, these offer 20% more power and 2.5 times the total runtime. They feature Milwaukee's Redlink intelligence that ensures peak performance (no power fading when they get low) and prevents overload while charging or in use. The battery has a rugged housing that protects against vibration, impact, and moisture. There's also an integrated thermal management system that minimizes heat buildup and an onboard fuel gauge that makes it easy to check your battery's status. One reviewer called these batteries a 'quality Milwaukee product' and added that they offer 'more power and capacity than my older batteries.' Overall, they're a 'great purchase' at a 'great price.''The batteries are new and they are awesome,' another shopper wrote. 'They run all day and recharge quickly,' and they 'definitely recommend these' to anyone who needs to power Milwaukee tools. A two-pack of Milwaukee M18 Lithium-Ion High-Output 5Ah Batteries is the kind of thing you'll be happy to have and even happier to have snagged at such a steep discount. Of course, the low price will make this a popular buy, so we'd recommend grabbing them ASAP as supplies may not last until July 13, the last day of this sale. Alabama football 2025 season preview, predictions: Kam Dewberry

When it comes to instant impact transfer portal additions this season, there are likely few that stick out more for the Alabama Crimson Tide than offensive lineman Kam Dewberry. Tasked with replacing one of the greatest offensive guards in Alabama football history in Tyler Booker, Dewberry is a player that the Crimson Tide landed in the NCAA transfer portal this offseason, coming to Tuscaloosa after multiple seasons within the SEC at Texas A&M. Advertisement With this move across the conference, Dewberry is now expected to step in immediately to fill a major hole along the Crimson Tide's offensive front, bringing experience and proven production in hopes to help replace Booker. Here is a look at everything you need to know about Alabama's newest offensive lineman, Kam Dewberry. Kam Dewberry player information Position: Offensive Line Jersey Number: No. 71 Height: 6'4 Weight: 345 Class: Senior Hometown: Humble, Texas High School: Atascocita Kam Dewberry career stats Nov 11, 2023; College Station, Texas, USA; Texas A&M Aggies offensive lineman Kam Dewberry (75) celebrates with quarterback Jaylen Henderson (16) after a touchdown during the first quarter against the Mississippi State Bulldogs at Kyle Field. Mandatory Credit: Maria Lysaker-USA TODAY Sports Coming to Alabama from Texas A&M, Dewberry was a multi-year starter in College Station who had made an impact since his freshman season back in 2022. Across the past three seasons, Dewberry has appeared in 32 games at the collegiate level, and was a 2022 Freshman All-America selection. Advertisement Kam Dewberry 2024 stats Last season, Dewberry saw action in 12 games for the Aggies, 10 of which came along the offensive line. A majority of Dewberry's appearances a year ago came at left guard. Kam Dewberry recruiting ranking Coming out of high school, Dewberry was considered as the nation's No. 64 overall prospect in the 2022 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. A four-star recruit, Dewberry was also ranked as the No. 3 interior offensive lineman in the class, as well as the No. 10 overall player in the state of Texas where he attended Atascocita High School. Advertisement Prior to arriving at Alabama, Dewberry was ranked by 247Sports as the No. 219 overall player in the transfer portal this past offseason. Dewberry was also considered a three-star prospect in the portal, and committed to Alabama back in Dec. 2024. Kam Dewberry 2025 season outlook As we enter fall camp, Dewberry is likely the favorite to takeover as Alabama's starting left guard for the departed Tyler Booker. However, that starting spot one could argue is not exactly a given entering the fall, as Dewberry will still have to go win the job in camp over others such as Geno VanDeMark. Regardless as to whether that happens or not, it still feels likely the Texas A&M transfer will see a significant amount of action this upcoming season, starting at some point at left guard. Advertisement As to when that could happen, do not be surprised if Dewberry is a starter from day one at Alabama, and for the Texas A&M transfer to be a key member of the Crimson Tide's offensive front throughout the fall.
