'The Devil Wears Prada 2': Everything We Know - And All Of Anne Hathaway's Outfits So Far
Ahead, everything we know about the upcoming film so far.
Variety reports that the movie will follow Streep's character, editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly, as she 'navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing and faces off against Blunt's character, now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs.' It's not yet obvious where Hathaway's character, Andy Sachs, will fit into this story—but, rest assured, she'll be there.
The main stars will reprise their roles for the sequel, including Hathaway (Andy Sachs), Streep (Miranda Priestly), Blunt (Emily Charlton), and even Stanley Tucci (Nigel Kipling).Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman will also return as Lily and Irv Ravitz, respectively.
Newcomers will include Kenneth Branagh (as Miranda's husband), as well as Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, Conrad Ricamora, Helen J. Shen, and Caleb Hearon, per Deadline and Variety.
Colin from Accounts star Patrick Brammal will be joining as Andy's new love interest, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna, who worked on the original film, are also returning for the sequel, alongside producer Karen Rosenfelt.
As for whom else fans might like to see in the follow-up, Nicholas Galitzine, who stars alongside Hathaway in The Idea of You, recently told ELLE that he'd love to work with Streep and Blunt someday. He added that, should there ever be a sequel, he would want to be a part of it.
'Listen, if Annie's down for it, if they want to do a sequel of The Devil Wears Prada, I'll be someone,' the actor said in our 2024 Hollywood Rising issue. 'I'll be the assistant who runs and gets coffee for everyone.' There haven't been any reports of Galitzine making a cameo in the movie (yet), but a boy can dream.
According to an Entertainment Weekly exclusive, Adrian Grenier, who played Andy's boyfriend, Nate, will not be returning for the sequel.
The sequel will be released on May 1, 2026, according to Variety.
It sure has. On June 30, 2025, 20th Century Studios took to social media to announce that the sequel was officially in production.
Then, on July 21, Hathaway shared a cheeky filming update via TikTok. Posting a video of herself brushing her teeth (and wearing—what else?—a cerulean sweater), she captioned the clip, 'Heading to werk #dwp2.'
Yes! On July 21, Hathaway also shared a TikTok video of her in character wearing a Gabriela Hearst Spring-Summer 2025 colorful patchwork maxi dress.
In an Instagram post, Hathaway showed off another one of Andy's looks, a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier pinstripe suit vest and matching trousers.
Then, she was seen in a Toteme tank top, AGOLDE denim maxi skirt, and Chanel Velcro sandals.

1000-lb. Sisters star Tammy Slaton has revealed the one drink she won't be giving up despite her 500-pound weight loss: soda. The 39-year-old reality star shared a video Tuesday on TikTok about her weight loss journey, responding to someone who called her out for drinking soda in a recent post. In the comment, the TikTok user pointed out that soft drinks — which Slaton calls 'sodies' — have a lot of sugar and asked her about her current diet. Slaton responded by apologizing for her decision to drink soda. 'Everybody is different. I'm not supposed to drink the sodies as much, and that was Sprite,' she said. 'Well, sorry! So, you're right. You're right.' However, Slaton, who underwent bariatric surgery in 2022, said that she wasn't cutting soda out of her diet. Instead, she argued that she can have whatever she wants 'in moderation.' 'I drink a lot of water and I drink a lot of sodies, but I'm still three, four years post-op,' she said, referring to her weight-loss surgery. 'So everything I'm doing is not fine, but it's OK because I'm still continuing on my diet. I'm still continuing to lose weight and I'm still hitting goals.' When Slaton and her sister Amy's TLC show, 1000-lb Sisters, aired, they made their love for soda known. In an episode that aired in 2020, a dietician asked the siblings if they drink water during the day. Slaton and her sister both said no in response, noting that they mainly drank soda. Slaton then confessed that she drank about eight to 12 cans of soda a day. However, Slaton revealed in 2023 that she doesn't drink soda nearly as often. In a since-deleted TikTok, as reported by People, she said she only had two cans of soda a day or fewer. Slaton has also been open about her health journey over the years after getting bariatric surgery, which is designed to help people lose weight by altering the digestive system, in 2022. During the April season premiere of 1000-lb Sisters, she revealed that she was 'down 500 pounds.' 'When I was at my heaviest, I was 700-plus pounds. Right now, I'm weighing in at 238,' she said. Following her bariatric surgery, she underwent skin removal surgery, where over 15 pounds of excess skin were removed from her chin, arms, and lower stomach earlier this year. 'I was really nervous for the skin removal surgery because I was really just kind of afraid of how I'm gonna feel looking at myself without the belly there,' she revealed in an interview with People in June about the milestone. 'The night before my surgery, I was, like, seriously freaking terrified. I was even more nervous about having skin removal surgery than I was for the [sleeve gastrectomy] surgery because they're actually cutting the whole belly!'

After a divisive decade that saw the city fall under the spell of obnoxious influencers, an anonymous social media account administrator for a local, family-owned popcorn company has become the hero Gotham needs — delighting viewers with viral clips mocking the tiresome trend of crummy content creation. From faux-foodies to freebie-obsessed fashionistas, nobody's safe from the self-described 'de-influencer' in charge of the Daadi Snacks account, where the mystery man racks up scores of views on sarcastic send-ups of social media's worst offenders — all delivered in a dead-on rendition of the nasally, uptalky, vocally fried 'influencer voice' that's become the noxious norm. Typical methods clearly aren't for this unnamed marketing man turned app agitator — he's too busy snapping up new fans with satirical reactions aimed squarely at the hordes of entitled interlopers running amok on Big Apple streets. 'I'm literally shaking. They sent me an $80,000 car instead of a $120,000 car. I guess they do say God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers,' the popular pot-stirrer joked in his most successful video aimed at a typically tough-to-take over-sharer, with nearly 9 million views to date. 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' has managed to surprise longtime fans.
