Demi Lovato Marries Jordan 'Jutes' Lutes in Romantic Ceremony

Yara Sameh
Demi Lovato and her partner, Jordan "Jutes" Lutes tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in California on Sunday.
For her walk down the aisle, Lovato donned a custom "pearl white" Vivenne Westwood gown with a corset bodice and a cathedral-style tulle veil. "I have been a fan of Vivienne Westwood's designs for a long time,' she told
Vogue
.
'When I was thinking about [what dress style I wanted], I often found myself coming back to Vivienne's designs — specifically how the silhouettes really complement the curves in your body, and her use of corsets,' she added.
Lovato, who collaborated with the Westwood team on the design, gushed, 'I love everything about the dress."
As for the reception, she wore into a second Westwood look, an ivory silk satin column dress with a draped corset top, per Vogue. The design featured broken pearls trailing from the neckline.
"It's a one-of-a-kind piece that makes me feel so special," the singer said.
According to the outlet, the newlyweds hosted a rehearsal dinner on the eve of their wedding. After a run-through of their ceremony, overseen by celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss, the group enjoyed an intimate meal.
Ahead of their wedding, Lovato expressed her excitement to marry Jutes via a sweet post on
Instagram
on February 14.
"Jordan, I cannot WAIT to marry you!! The past 3 years have been the best 3 years of my life and I have you to thank for that," she wrote alongside sweet photos of them posing together next to a vintage Porsche. "I'm obsessed with your heart, your love and your light. I can't wait to grow old with you and start a family together 🥹🥹 Happy Valentine's Day to the love of my life. I love you honey!!!".
Lovato and Jutes met during a writing session for Lovato's album "Holy Fvck" and went public with their romance in August 2022.
Jutes popped the question in a 'personal and intimate proposal' in Los Angeles on December 16, 2023.
"You know, I've waited my whole life for him," Lovato told
PEOPLE
in September 2024. "It's very grounding to have a partner that is so supportive, so loving, so caring. It's very easy to stay centered with him because I love him so much and he treats me so amazing."
However, the couple didn't rush tying the knot. Jutes revealed to the
outlet
in October 2024 that they didn't want to worry about wedding planning.
"We're not trying to stress ourselves out,' he said. 'I feel like a lot of weddings can be stressful and very quick, and so we're on it, but we're also taking our time, and we're also just enjoying being engaged.'
"We're not trying to skip engagement to get right to wedding," he added. "We're just basking in it and soaking it up. We'll be married forever. We just want to enjoy every step."
During a September 2023 appearance on the
PodcastOne
podcast LadyGang, Lovato opened up about her first interaction with Jutes while they worked on her eighth studio album.
"I texted my friends and was like, 'Oh my God, the hottest guy just walked in. I am so nervous. I don't know what to do with myself,' " she said.
The singer noted that it took 'a couple months' for them to become romantically involved.
Their collaboration resulted in Jutes co-writing Lovato's tracks "Substance," "Happy Ending," and "City of Angels."
In August 2023, he gushed about the singer's talents and their romance in an
Instagram
tribute written in honor of Lovato's birthday.
'Your heart has changed lives all over the planet… especially some dude from a farm in canada who wound up in your session over a year ago,' Jutes wrote. 'I didn't know the perfect person existed until i met u. but now that i do, i'm gunna spend the rest of my life protecting u and doing whatever i can to squeeze another smile n belly laugh outta u. i couldn't be more proud to call u my baby.'
Lovato got candid about what makes their relationship work during an appearance on SiriusXM's
The Howard Stern Show
in September 2023.
'He has the best personality. We laugh nonstop,' she said. 'There's this partnership there that is just so magnetic, and the way that we laugh together — it's just nonstop. So I think if you can find someone that makes you feel safe, that you're so attracted to, that you laugh with constantly, that's the formula of a really great relationship.'

Sanaa's Kitchen Is Feeding Amsterdam a Taste of Egypt

Sanaa's Kitchen Is Feeding Amsterdam a Taste of Egypt In a cosy corner of Amsterdam, where the canals reflect the hustle of a city that's never quite as calm as it looks, Hader Serour is cooking up more than just food. At 28, this Egyptian-born chef has left behind a career in civil engineering to build something entirely different—a kitchen full of stories, flavours, and memories. Her brand, Sanaa's Kitchen, named after her mother, isn't just a place to eat—it's a place to feel. A modern take on Egyptian cuisine that's as rich and complex as the country itself. Hader's journey, however, didn't start in the kitchen. Born in Egypt, she moved to Ireland at age 10, before settling in the Netherlands, where she continued to build a life that seemed as secure as it was structured. With a stable career ahead of her, she might have continued down a predictable civil engineering path. But the world had other plans for her. 'It was like I was missing something,' Hader tells SceneEats. 'Engineering was logical, it made sense. But food? Food was where my heart was. The way it connects people, tells stories, makes you feel… that's what I wanted.' That longing first took shape in her early 20s. Sparked by her friends' love for her mum's cooking, she started a humble Instagram page for her mother's home-cooked Egyptian meals. At the time, she was studying in Ireland, toting tupperwares of koshary and kunafa to university lectures. Hader saw firsthand how diaspora kids—herself included—craved the flavours of home whilst internally struggling with identity and shame. And so, what began as a social media side project soon became a lifeline for homesick Egyptians, a digital bridge between Ireland and Cairo. And it all started during a soul-searching trip to Zanzibar. Sitting with friends on a sun-bleached beach, the group began mapping out their futures. 'We were all asking: What do you really want to do?' For Hader, the answer had been simmering for years. 'I realised I'd been dreaming of sharing the meals I grew up with—not just the flavours online, but the way Egyptians gather in real life. The chaos of a family table, everyone talking over each other, reaching for the same dish.' That conversation cracked something open. Returning to Amsterdam, she resurrected her grandfather's ta'ameya recipe. Then, she rebranded her mother's Instagram experiment, turning it into a canvas for her own culinary voice. Early pop-ups became experiments in intimacy: strangers bonding over fried eggplant and pickled onions. At first, the logistics were anything but glamorous. A young woman cycling across Amsterdam, hauling frozen falafel mix in Uber rides, and hauling bags full of bold spices like za'atar and sumac to create her sandwiches. But then, her pop-ups quickly evolved into something more intimate. What started as small gatherings soon blossomed into a series of breakfasts that reimagined the flavours of Egyptian mornings—ful medames, gargir, and sobya—each dish serving as a connection to a faraway home. But, running a kitchen as a young Egyptian woman in Europe hasn't been without its challenges. 'Some people just see me as the 'foreign falafel girl,'' she smirks. 'Let them.' Sanaa's Kitchen definitely serves up more than just falafel. From the rich, garlicky molokhia to the perfectly spiced bamiya, Hader's menu is a love letter to Egypt—without the cliché. 'So many places play on the 'exotic' factor,' she laughs, 'but that's not what I'm about. I want people to see Egypt as it is today: diverse, vibrant, and real.' Her secret ingredient? 'Passion. Every dish is made with care, and people feel that.' But perhaps the real magic lies in the foundation laid by her mother, Sanaa, whose recipes—and tough-love kitchen sessions ('You're doing it wrong!')—have helped shape the woman Hader is today. When it comes to her future, Hader's vision is as fluid as her cooking style. 'The world's my oyster,' she grins. 'I want to let opportunities come naturally.' For now, she's focused on her residency, where she's introducing Dutch diners to Egyptian comfort food like koshari and tawa-grilled meats. Later on, there could be a food truck. Or a cookbook. Or perhaps even a culinary workshop where she teaches people how to make falafel with the kind of love only someone who's cooked it thousands of times can understand. Hader's story is more than just about food. It's about identity, resilience, and community. She uses her platform for activism, like during the 2023 Palestine crisis when she hosted fundraisers. She uses it to connect with people by bringing them closer to Egypt. She uses it to build a home that's not bound by geography, but by love, flavour, and community. So, if you happen to find yourself in Amsterdam, craving a taste of Egypt that feels like a warm embrace from your teta, Sanaa's Kitchen is where you'll find it.

When Natural Becomes the New Luxury

Pasant Elzaitony In a world dominated by filters and retouched images — where faces have become increasingly similar and trends often blur individuality — a new wave of beauty has emerged. One that redefines attractiveness from the inside out. It's called natural beauty — a movement that embraces authenticity, uniqueness, and simplicity over artificial perfection. In 2025, the beauty scene is witnessing a powerful comeback of what experts now call "clean, effortless beauty." Perfectly sculpted eyebrows and heavy contouring are giving way to naturally full brows, a fresh, glowing complexion, and skincare that celebrates what's real — not masked. Real Role Models… and Their Natural Recipes Yasmine Sabri – Nature-Inspired Radiance The Egyptian actress is an advocate of natural beauty, often posting unfiltered, makeup-free photos on Instagram. Her favorite skincare secrets include: Hydrating Face Mask: 1 tsp raw honey 5 drops argan oil 1 tsp mashed avocado Mix and apply to the face for 15 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water. Hair Repair Mask: 2 tbsp coconut oil 1 egg yolk 1 tsp honey Apply to clean hair, leave for 1 hour, and wash thoroughly with shampoo. Zeinab Fayyad – Lebanese Traditions, Naturally Daughter of singer Haifa Wehbe, Zeinab has become a natural beauty icon across social platforms, promoting heritage-inspired routines: Pure Rose Water Toner: Spray fresh rose water on clean skin daily to tone and refresh. DIY Body Scrub: 3 tbsp brown sugar 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp lemon juice Gently scrub once a week for silky-smooth skin. Laila Abdallah – Embracing Her Real Skin The Kuwaiti actress takes pride in her freckles and promotes a makeup-minimal look. She recommends: Brightening Face Mask: 1 tbsp yogurt 1 tbsp cornstarch ½ tsp honey Leave on for 20 minutes, then rinse with cool water. Soothing Night Serum: 1 tsp sweet almond oil 2 drops lavender essential oil Massage into the face before bed. Alicia Keys – A Global Symbol of Bare-Faced Beauty The Grammy-winning singer famously quit makeup years ago. Her beauty routine is focused on nourishment: Charcoal Detox Mask: ½ tsp activated charcoal 1 tsp aloe vera gel 2–3 drops tea tree oil Apply once a week to deeply cleanse the skin. Morning Glow Elixir (her daily ritual): 1 cup warm water 1 tsp raw honey Juice of ½ lemon 1 slice fresh ginger Drink first thing in the morning for skin that glows from within. More Than a Trend… A Shift in Consciousness This movement isn't just about aesthetics — it's a cultural awakening. It's about choosing health over illusion, confidence over conformity, and celebrating what makes each face unique. Stylists and makeup artists are now embracing a 'barely-there' look: minimal products, natural textures, and letting the skin breathe. Air-dried hair, soft brows, and dew-kissed cheeks have replaced harsh lines and full-coverage foundations. In an age of noise and digital perfection, women are returning to their mirrors with a smile… Because they've discovered that the most beautiful thing they wear — is what nature gave them. read more 15 Ludicrous Cosplay Costumes That Will Blow You Away Watch... Elle and Dakota Fanning to Star in "The Nightingale" Film Adaptation, Sets 2027 Release Date

Yara Sameh TriStar has set a new February 12, 2027 release date for "The Nightingale," its highly anticipated feature adaptation of Kristin Hannah's global bestselling work of historical fiction. Gestating for some time, the project has regained traction for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic, enlisting "To Leslie" helmer Michael Morris to direct. Dakota and Elle Fanning are still set to star and produce, starring together on film for the first time, having first attached to the project in 2019. Dana Stevens (The Woman King) penned the script, and Elizabeth Cantillon will produce for The Cantillon Company, alongside the Fannings and Brittany Kahan Ward for Lewellen Pictures, and Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine. Nicole Brown and Shary Shirazi are overseeing for TriStar Pictures. Sources attributed the February 12, 2027 date to the fact that it's a huge event weekend, with the double holiday of Valentine's Day that Sunday and President's Day on Monday. Sunday, February 14 is also Super Bowl Sunday, which presents an opportunity to counterprogram with a film that already has a substantial built-in fanbase. "The Nightingale" will also be the first big female-skewing title of the year as the schedule currently stands. Selling more than 11 million copies worldwide since its 2015 debut after being translated into 45 languages, "The Nightingale" tells the story of two sisters who dare to embark on separate, dangerous paths during World War II in the fight for survival, love and freedom in German-occupied, war-torn France. The book hit No. 1 on the New York Times Best Sellers list and has spent a combined 165 weeks on the list across formats, also dominating NPR's fiction chart for 45 weeks and being named a Reese's Book Club Pick. In March 2025, a special 10th Anniversary Edition got to No. 2 on the NYT hardcover list, and already this year, the book has sold a million copies. "The Nightingale" has had a decently long journey to the screen, beginning with TriStar's move to lock down film rights in 2015, with Ann Peacock coming on to write and Cantillon to produce. (The latter has been with the project ever since.) Writer-director Michelle MacLaren and co-writer John Sayles attached to a later iteration, with the Fannings initially coming on to star in a version helmed by Mélanie Laurent from Stevens' script. Just when it looked like the project would get off the ground, the pandemic resulted in numerous delays, with Laurent stepping back to attend to other projects in the interim. A two-time Emmy nominee known for his directing on series like Better Call Saul, "13 Reasons Why" and "Kingdom", Morris directed Andrea Riseborough to her first Oscar nomination with his feature directorial debut, the indie drama "To Leslie". His follow-up project on the feature side was "Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy", which enjoyed acclaim as well as international box office success, surpassing $100M globally while premiering on Peacock only in the U.S. Dakota Fanning will next be seen starring opposite Sarah Snook in Peacock's upcoming series "All Her Fault". Elle Fanning, meanwhile, is next set to appear in dual roles in Dan Trachtenberg's "Predator: Badlands", out November 7, and in a starring role alongside Renate Reinsve and Stellan Skarsgard in Joachim Trier's "Sentimental Value", the winner of Cannes' "Grand Prix", which is out in limited release via Neon on the same day. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Sports Get to Know 2025 WWE Evolution Results News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence" News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks
