Sun-seekers gearing up for their next sunshine-filled escape are raving about a "spacious" suitcase that's not only stylish but can also help dodge those dreaded airline baggage fees.
The Flight Knight Cabin Case is flying off the virtual shelves at Next, quickly becoming a best-seller – and with 17 colours to match every travel vibe.
At a reasonable £50 this savvy suitcase is built for smooth sailing (or gliding) through the airport. Wrapped in a sleek, waterproof, and scratch-resistant hard shell it's ready to guard your getaway gear with ease.
Inside the fully lined interior comes equipped with clever pockets and handy straps, keeping everything from flip-flops to travel documents perfectly in place.
Available at an ever-so-slightly reduced price point of £49.99 on Amazon and through Debenhams, this carry-on luggage measures 56 x 45 x 25cm, which is the absolute limit for easyJet's Large Cabin Bag allocation, making it the prime choice for jet-setters battling the complimentary luggage limits.
Heading with a different airline? Have no fear, the case also complies with Jet2 and British Airways' no-cost carry-on allowance of 56 x 45 x 25cm.
However, Ryanair flyers should to be aware that it surpasses the Priority Cabin Baggage's upper limit of 55 x 40 x 20cm, reports Chronicle Live.
While it is just as pricey, £49 will get your hands on a smaller 55x40x20cm variant, if that's your preferred size. Fortunately, there's a Ryanair Priority-compliant version of the suitcase with the requisite dimensions available for £50 at Next, and it's currently on offer for just £42.49 on Amazon.
With various sizes designed to meet the requirements of all major airlines, this Flight Knight suitcase collection boasts an impressive average score of 4.3 out of five stars on Amazon, based on a multitude of customer reviews.
A satisfied customer who purchased the easyJet Large Cabin Bag size shared: "This suitcase was able to be brought on to my easyJet flight without issue and is very sturdy and easy to manoeuvre. I'd highly recommend to anybody in the market for one!"
Another happy traveller added: "When the case first arrived I thought it was too big for a cabin bag. But sure enough, it went in the overhead locker. Got so much stuff in it, no need for hold luggage and hence didn't need to queue for my case at baggage reclaim. Had a great weekend!"
And yet another reviewer expressed their satisfaction: "Great case, nice and light, easy to glide around and perfect size. Used for a week away in Cyprus with compression bags and had plenty of clothes plus room for sandals and flip flops in the zip up compartment."
Some shoppers have cited concerns over its durability. A number of customers reported issues with the wheels on their luggage failing during travel, with one stating: "The wheels don't spin easily nor roll easily, making it very difficult to manoeuvre or pull along."
A dissatisfied customer critiqued: "The quality unfortunately is not as robust or rigid as other brands."

Various leading luggage manufacturers have crafted cabin bags tailored to fit Ryanair's hand luggage allowance rules. Alternative selections feature products such as the Metz Underseat Cabin Backpack, which can be picked up from Mountain Warehouse at the discounted price of £25, down from £30.
In addition, major savings can be found with the Aerolite Cabin Size Backpack at a mere £23.99, reduced by 61% from the original £54.99, and the Tripp Affinity Flight Bag, currently on offer for £18 instead of the regular £40.

Skechers launches £45 trainers with hidden compartment for Apple AirTags

Skechers, a trainer brand renowned for its comfort and support, has taken a leap forward with a new children's shoe designed to house an Apple AirTag. This feature allows parents to track their child's movements, marking a significant departure from the brand's usual slip-on trainers or shoes with 'cloud-like' inserts. The Go Run Elevate range, starting at £45, features a concealed compartment compatible with AirTags under the inner sole. The hidden nature of the compartment may offer parents reassurance as they can monitor their child's location, whether at nursery, in the park, or during a busy day out. Prices start at £45 for toddler sizes and go up to £55 for boys' and girls' sizes. However, it is important to note that the AirTag, which is central to the shoe's design, is not included in the price. These must be purchased separately. You can buy a pack of four, reduced from £119 to £89 on Amazon. Alternatively, Currys offers a pack of four AirTags for £92, reports Nottinghamshire Live. At a first glance, the price might seem steep, but it actually breaks down to a more affordable £23 per AirTag. No other brand has launched a line of footwear specifically crafted to house a Bluetooth tracker. But the concept is gaining traction on social media, with parents threading AirTags into their children's Jordan 1 laces, now retailing at £54.99 at the Nike Store. When compared to these methods, Skechers' offering appears to be a snugger and more comfortable alternative for embedding an AirTag within footwear, complete with a cosy design. The Go Run Elevate series boasts adaptive materials and includes an instep strap for added convenience. With the design being relatively new, there aren't many comments yet, but the feedback from consumers has been largely favourable, with the handful of reviews posted so far praising the shoes' comfort and functionality. A glowing five-star review stated: "The idea of this product is awesome, and Skechers are comfortable and offer good quality for a great price. "The fact that someone gave this product a one-star rating based on a suggestion to make these for adults didn't sit well with me." Another buyer remarked on how their child found the shoe 'so comfortable to wear'. Although a majority of purchasers are supportive of the design for their kids, it's sparked some controversy and debate. On Reddit, some users have expressed reservations about the design, with one individual commenting: "This is weird since Apple doesn't recommend using AirTags to track one's kids."

Make the most of your annual leave in 2026 with method to get 63 days off

A woman has shared her top tip for getting the most out of your annual leave in 2026 - and it's perfect for those who are looking to stretch out their days off A woman has devised a brilliant strategy for those wanting to maximise their time off next year. We're all attempting to avoid burnout wherever possible and maintain our wellbeing as we reach that stage of the year where we've worked hard and are desperate for a rest. It's vital to strike the perfect balance between work obligations and much-needed downtime. ‌ Most of us are limited by a fixed number of holiday days or hours, and securing time off during busy periods can often be challenging. For those slogging away Monday to Friday, there's usually a minimum of 28 days' paid leave available each year, totalling 5.6 weeks of time to take off. Meanwhile, shift workers may receive time off in lieu if they work extra hours or weekends. ‌ It's essential workers secure approval for their planned getaways to avoid any potential fees from altering plans or cancellations. ‌ Fortunately, one woman on Instagram has shared how you can set yourself up for 63 days off work in 2026 if you have 28 days in total. If you have fewer than 28 days, the method can still help you make the most of your annual leave, though you won't achieve quite as many days off. Travel content creator Danielle, who enjoys sharing her top holiday advice from destinations to getting there and booking time off, explained in an Instagram post: "This is for my UK followers and I know 28 is a bit higher than average but hope this helps." This is how she's planning her 2026 annual leave... Annual leave to book off 2026 Book off Friday January 2 - this way you get four days off from Jan 1 to 4 as New Year's Day is a bank holiday Book off March 30 to April 3, as well as April 7 to April 10 - this way you get 16 days off between March 28 and April 13 as this is when Easter Bank Holidays fall Book off May 5 to May 10 - you will get nine days off between May 2 and May 10 because there's an early Bank Holidays Book off May 26 to May 29 - you can get another nine days off between May 23 and May 31 because of Spring Bank Holiday Book off September 1 to September 4 - you can get nine days off between August 30 and September 7 Book off December 21 to 24 and December 29 and 31 - you can get 16 days off between December 19 and January 3 Danielle advises: "The downside of this is that it's peak time to travel and can mean prices are a bit higher than usual. ‌ "However if you're looking to fit in more holidays or longer holidays, this is the way to do it! Book your flights and hotels far in advance to grab the best deals. Easy Jet has just released summer 2026 flights too." One person responded to the post, saying: "This is fab. Thanks. I get 33 days holiday plus I do a 9 day fortnight so I get 16 Fridays off." ‌ Another chimed in: "37 days plus Bank Holidays! This is still really useful. Thanks! Planning for next year now." Someone else shared their leave allowance, stating: "33 days annual leave plus 24 days flexi leave per year = 57 days leave." Another individual pointed out: "All the people complaining about the amount of days they get but they get all the bank holidays and Christmas off. Try working in healthcare, you're working them all." One more warned: "One thing to note is that flight prices absolutely surge over bank holiday weekends and weeks. So be prepared to pay way more than you usually would for your cheap holiday flights." Another agreed, adding: "This works except you're having time off around Bank Holidays and holidays so prices are doubled." Another individual highlighted: "I get 21 days but still helpful thanks. The only trouble is that we have a policy where by if two people are already off then no one else can be due to the small team. So it's unlikely 1 person would be granted the best days off a year."

Amazon expands its perishable delivery service, putting pressure on traditional grocers

Amazon is now rolling out a service where its Prime members can order their blueberries and milk at the same time as their batteries and other basic items. The online juggernaut said Wednesday that customers in more than 1,000 cities and towns now have access to fresh groceries with its free Same-Day Delivery on orders over $25 for Prime members, with plans to reach over 2,300 by the end of the year. The company said that if an order doesn't meet the minimum, members can still choose same-day delivery for a $2.99 fee. For customers without a Prime membership, the service is available with a $12.99 fee, regardless of order size. In the past, Prime subscribers' grocery orders were fulfilled through Amazon Fresh or Whole Foods. The expansion is expected to put more pressure on grocery delivery services offered by such rivals as Walmart, Instacart and Target.
