Law Roach Gives Update on Zendaya and Tom Holland's Wedding
Before you do too much rejoicing, however, you should know that the update is...that there is no update. 'The process hasn't even started yet,' Law told E! News when asked about the wedding. 'Zendaya is working on so many movies. She's now filming the next iteration of Dune, so she's away doing that. It's so many movies, so we have time. We have a lot of time.'
Given Law's wedding update, it sounds like Zendaya and Tom are either planning a long engagement, keeping their wedding plans super under wraps, or getting married soon and using Law to keep the press away—three entirely plausible options. And to be fair to the couple, if there's one thing that we know for sure, it's that they are both booked and busy.
As Law mentioned, Zendaya is currently in Europe filming Dune: Part Three, and in the coming year she'll be promoting Shrek 5, Euphoria season 3, and The Odyssey, in which Tom also stars. And on top of that, they'll both be back on set together to film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, currently in pre-production.
Okay, so no big wedding anytime soon. But what about the dress? Asked what kind of bride Zendaya might be, Law responded, 'a secret bride.' Clearly, Z's longtime stylist knows how to keep a secret, so don't expect any wedding details from him. He did, however, gush over the couple.
'I'm really excited because I know that they really love each other and they have for a really long time,' he told E! News. 'The fact that the world has been able to share in that love story, I think it's really beautiful.'

Jason Momoa shaves off beard for the first time in 6 years ahead of ‘Dune' return: ‘I hate it'
King clean-cut. 'Aquaman' star Jason Momoa, 45, flaunted a clean-shaven look for the first time in six years as he prepares for his next role. 'God damn it, I hate it,' Momoa quipped in an Instagram reel posted on Wednesday. 4 Jason Momoa shaved off his signature beard. Jason Momoa/Instagram The 'Game of Thrones' actor transformed his entire look as a 'kick-off' to reprise his role as Duncan Idaho in 'Dune Messiah,' which was announced as the third and final film in the eight-time Oscar-winning sci-fi series. 'Only for you, Denis,' the actor said, referring to Denis Villeneuve, the director of 'Dune: Part One' and 'Dune: Part Two.' The Hawaii native played Duncan Idaho in the 2021 film, but he did not appear in the 2024 sequel because his character died in the first film. However, he confirmed that he's 'making a comeback' in the third film when his character is resurrected as a clone, according to an interview on the 'Today' show in March 2025. The Hollywood hunk filmed himself shaving off his iconic facial hair in the clip, which also served as a promotion for his reusable bottled water company, Mananalu. 4 'God damn it, I hate it,' Momoa quipped in an Instagram reel. Jason Momoa/Instagram 'I think it's been about six years, maybe a little bit more, since I did 'Dune,'' Momoa said. 'What was really special about that is that's when I started launching Mananalu. At the time, we were one of the first ones to release the aluminum bottle.' The 'Justice League' actor prompted his company's partnership with Boomerang Water, which aimed to reuse water bottles to get 'rid of single-use plastic. For our children and for our planet.' Momoa's son, Nakoa-Wolf Momoa, will be part of the highly anticipated third installment of the 'Dune' trilogy, according to Deadline. 4 Momoa attended the world premiere of the Apple TV+ series 'Chief of War' on July 18. Apple TV+ via Getty Images Nakoa-Wolf was cast to play Leto II, the twin son of Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya's characters Paul Atreides and Chani. The A-lister's son will star alongside 'Silo' actress Ida Brooke, who will portray the other twin, Ghanima. The 'Minecraft Movie' actor shares two teenage kids, Nakoa-Wolf and daughter Lola Iolani, with his ex-wife, 'The Cosby Show' actress Lisa Bonet. The couple's divorce was finalized in June 2024, seven years after they got married. 4 Momoa starred as Arthur in 'Aquaman' and 'Aquaman 2.' Getty Images Momoa isn't the only person getting a new look for the movie. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Chalamet closely shaved the nape of his neck before an outing with girlfriend Kylie Jenner in St. Tropez on July 7. The 'Call Me by Your Name' actor wore a green bandana over a navy Nike hat, so fans couldn't get a full look at how much hair had been buzzed away. 'Dune Messiah' is scheduled to be released in December 2026.

Jason Momoa shaves for first time in 6 years ahead of 'Dune 3' return: 'Only for you, Denis'
"I hate it," the actor admits of his clean-shaven look. Jason Momoa is switching back into Dune mode. The Aquaman actor, who's known for his bushy beard, shared a video of himself buzzing off his facial hair, as he prepares to film the third installment of the franchise. As fans of the sci-fi movies know, Momoa looks quite different with a clean-shaven face. He, for one, is not a fan. "Goddammit it, I hate it!" Momoa said in his social media message. "It has been about six years — maybe a little bit more — since I did Dune." Momoa referenced his Oscar-nominated director, Denis Villeneuve, when he quipped, "Only for you, Denis!" Momoa played Duncan Idaho in 2021's Dune, in which he costarred with an A-list cast that included Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Oscar Isaac, Javier Bardem, and Josh Brolin. He revealed in March that he would reprise the role in next year's Dune 3, despite the fact that his character was killed in the previous film. "If you didn't read the books, it's not my fault," he joked during an appearance on Today, referencing author Frank Herbert's novels on which the movies are based. In his post, Momoa also mentioned a development at his company Mananalu, which he founded in 2019 to "rid the world of single-use plastic bottles" in order to protect the planet. A subject Momoa, a native of Hawaii, is very passionate about. In December 2019, he called out fellow actor Chris Pratt who appeared to hold a single-use plastic water bottle in an ad for Amazon. Both voiced characters in The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, which was released that month. "Bro I love u but wtf on the water bottle," Momoa wrote on social media. "No single use plastic. Come on." Pratt responded positively. "Aquaman! You're completely right," Pratt responded. "Dammit. I always carry my big gallon size reusable water jug around with me too. I even had it that day!!! ... If I remember correctly somebody threw that plastic bottle to me in the photo shoot cause I didn't know what to do with my hands! I never know what to do with my hands! So uncomfortable. For real tho. Love you too buddy. My bad. I don't want your home of Atlantis covered in plastic. Hear that kids? Reduce. Reuse. Recycle." After that, Momoa apologized and promised to send the Guardians of the Galaxy actor a case of his water. "BRO you know my children and I are madly in love with you and I love everything you do," he wrote. "I'm sorry this was received so badly today I didn't mean for that to happen … I'm just very passionate about this single-use plastic epidemic. The plastic water bottles have to stop I hope u make a reusable water bottle for Amazon so we all can purchase. You're an inspiration to many I'm one of them." Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' movie under fire for filming on 'occupied' Indigenous land
Director Christopher Nolan's upcoming movie "The Odyssey" is already facing backlash for allegedly filming on indigenous land under "military occupation" in the Western Sahara. After the picture wrapped up shooting in the area last week, the Sahrawi Government expressed "deep concern and strong indignation" that the "Oppenheimer" director's follow-up project was filming in the city of Dakhla, a location it claims is currently under "illegal military occupation by the Kingdom of Morocco." "The Ministry firmly expresses its strong condemnation and unequivocal rejection of the decision to select an occupied territory as the location for a major international film production, without any form of consultation or coordination with the legitimate representative of the Sahrawi people, internationally recognized as the Polisario Front," its statement read. The statement continued, "This act constitutes a dangerous form of cultural normalization with the occupation, and an unethical exploitation of art and cinema to whitewash the image of a colonial situation that is still imposed by force and met daily with the steadfast resistance of a people struggling for freedom and dignity." James Cameron Slams 'Oppenheimer' Avoiding Aftermath Of Atomic Bombings On Japan As 'Moral Cop-out' The Western Sahara International Film Festival (FiSahara) similarly put out a statement urging Nolan and Universal Pictures to "stop filming in Dakhla and stand in solidarity with the Sahrawi people who have been under military occupation for 50 years and who are routinely imprisoned and tortured for their peaceful struggle for self-determination." Read On The Fox News App "By filming part of 'The Odyssey' in an occupied territory classified as a 'journalistic desert' by Reporters Without Borders, Nolan and his team, perhaps unknowingly and unintentionally, are contributing to Morocco's repression of the Sahrawi people and to the Moroccan regime's efforts to normalize its occupation of Western Sahara," María Carrión, the festival's executive director, said. Actor Javier Bardem, who has appeared in FiSahara before, shared the festival's statement on his Instagram account last week. "For 50 years, Morocco has occupied Western Sahara, expelling the Sahrawi people from their cities. Dakhla is one of them, converted by the Moroccan occupiers into a tourist destination and now a film set, always with the aim of erasing the Sahrawi identity of the city. Another illegal occupation, another repression against a people, the Sahrawi, unjustly plundered with the approval of Western governments, including the Spanish. #FreeSaharaNow," Bardem wrote. Meanwhile, Reda Benjelloun of the Moroccan Cinematographic Center, a public administrative film agency in Morocco, called the film "extremely important" as the first major Hollywood project to shoot in the area. 'Oppenheimer' Director Christopher Nolan Says Ai In Film Carries 'Responsibilities' Like Atomic Bomb Creation "Dakhla will indeed offer extraordinary opportunities in the future to foreign productions which will find human resources there as well as a geography very different from other regions of Morocco," Benjelloun said in an interview. "Today, Morocco's strength lies in being very responsive to demand and also having very efficient local executive production companies that do a great job." Fox News Digital reached out to Universal Pictures and a representative for Nolan for comment. "The Odyssey" spent at least four days filming in the area which has been classified as a "non-self-governing territory" by the United Nations. Seventy percent of the land is currently controlled by Morocco, though Morocco has proposed a plan to give the country autonomy under Moroccan sovereignty. President Donald Trump recognized Morocco's claim to the land and endorsed its plan in a statement during his first term in 2020. "The Odyssey" is set to be released on July 17, 2026, and adapts Homer's ancient Greek epic poem of the same name. It has also filmed in Morocco, Greece, Italy, Scotland and Iceland and is expected to continue filming in Ireland and the article source: Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' movie under fire for filming on 'occupied' Indigenous land Solve the daily Crossword
