
'Green Bones' gets a whopping 10 nominations at the FAMAS Awards
Among them are Best Picture, Best Director (Zig Dulay), Best Actor (Dennis Trillo), and Best Supporting Actor (Ruru Madrid) and Best Supporting Actress (Alessandra De Rossi).
The GMA Pictures entry to the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival, "Green Bones" has already won several awards including Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor at the MMFF and Best Cinematography and Best Screenplay at the EDDYS.
"Balota" received four nominations including Best Picture, Best Actress Marian Rivera), and Best Supporting Actor (Will Ashley). The film previously earned for Marian Rivera her very first acting award, a Best Actress trophy she shared with Gabby Padilla at Cinemalaya 2024.
Meanwhile, 2024's blockbuster hit "Hello Love Again," which became the first Filipino film to surpass P1 billion in gross sales, received five nominations including Best Actor (Alden Richards) and Best Actress (Kathryn Bernardo).
The awarding ceremony takes place on August 22 at the Manila Hotel.
