Cruz Beckham shares cryptic message about 'telling the truth' amid family feud

Metroa day ago

Cruz Beckham has seemingly made it clear what his views are on the alleged Beckham family feud.
The famous fam has been engulfed by feud rumours since eldest child Brooklyn Beckham, 26, wed Nicola Peltz, 30, in 2022.
As of late, things have appeared pretty rosy, with the actress joining her in-laws at events and frequently appearing on their social media pages.
However, when Brooklyn and Nicola were a no-show at David Beckham's 50th birthday bash, the whispers began once more.
A few days ago, Brooklyn appeared to make somewhat of a dig at his parents, posting a video of himself and Nicola on Instagram with a caption vowing to always 'choose [her]'.
Now, Cruz has shared a rather cryptic message about 'telling the truth' as speculation continues to fly surrounding the nature of the rift.
He wrote on his Instagram Story: 'It takes 43 muscles in your face to frown, and 17 to smile. Be kind and tell the truth.'
It comes a few days after another message dedicated to his mum, dad, and siblings.
The 20-year-old shared a photo of himself alongside David and Victoria, plus Brooklyn, 22-year-old brother Romeo, and 13-year-old Harper.
In what fans believe was a display of whose side he's on, he added in the caption: 'I love my family, I love you guys more than anything, mum & dad you gave us life and cared for us no matter what, I cannot tell you how blessed we all are to have you in our lives x.'
The photo he shared was taken last September when Cruz and his family went to support Victoria at her Paris Fashion Week show.
His telling post followed Brooklyn uploaded a video of himself and Nicola riding a motorbike, presumably somewhere close to their home in southern California. https://www.instagram.com/p/DKD00xGp2dP
The clip shows them cruising around as Nicola holds onto Brooklyn with her arms around his waist.
He said in the caption: 'My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you're the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby.'
It's safe to say the reactions in the comments were mixed, as @malilycandyworld wrote: 'Wishing you both a life time of happiness!!!'
'He's not saying anything disrespectful to his parents in this post. Why shouldn't he live his wife? Why shouldn't she be first? If he can't even say this freely then WTF??', defended @begod008.
However, @jacq.anne1 said: 'Don't forget your beautiful parents who will always love you unconditionally'.
Others said they felt 'disappointed' by Brooklyn's apparent attempt to distance himself from his parents.
It was previously claimed that Brooklyn also felt 'disappointed in himself' for missing his dad's 50th, where the likes of Tom Cruise and Gordon Ramsay joined the football legend for lavish celebrations.
A source also told Metro that Spice Girls icon Victoria, 51, is hoping Brooklyn will 'come around' amid their alleged feud, as she has found the fallout 'devastating.'
'Victoria hates to think about her family being so divided, especially with it involving one of her children. Brooklyn's absence at David's 50th birthday party was noticeable, and she desperately wished he would have been there,' said the insider.
'She's hoping Brooklyn will come around and see things for what they are. They've always been a close-knit family, and seeing how things are now has been devastating for Victoria and David.'
Similarly, while the cause of the drama remains unknown, David is also said to be 'desperate to make amends' with his son, especially after falling out with his own father, Ted, in 2005. More Trending
It's been said that Brooklyn and Nicola have since grown close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, even accepting a dinner invite from the Sussexes, where they bonded over 'toxic' family experiences.
'Harry and Meghan were very empathetic and very kind to them both,' an insider told The Sun.
It's said that 'Harry was fully aware of the situation and offered Brooklyn his unwavering support as someone who has been through similar.'

Nicola Peltz's pals break silence for first time over Brooklyn Beckham claims

Nicola Peltz's pals address claims that she is "isolating" Brooklyn Beckham in new defence - as sources close to the Beckham family speak of their continued upset as the feud rumbles on Brooklyn Beckham's Instagram video last week in which he said he would 'always choose' his wife must have hurt his parents amid their well-publicised family feud. But other recent social media posts have allegedly proved just, if not more, painful to David and Victoria as the falling out shows no sign of abating. ‌ A picture uploaded to Instagram three days ago shows Brooklyn sipping a pint in a pub, with bottles of his own-brand hot sauce on the table in front of him. ‌ Innocuous enough to outsiders – but friends of the Beckhams recognised the distinctive light fittings and stark green walls in the background. One pal says: 'The picture was taken in London's Wigmore pub, which is part of the Langham Hotel where the Beckhams have sometimes stayed. 'The fact that Brooklyn appeared to be in the country and failed to see any of his family was heartbreaking. And not only that, but here he was posting about it.' Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, had flown to London for a joint photoshoot with Italian luxury fashion brand Moncler, which took place less than two miles from the Beckham family home in Holland Park. ‌ Dad David, 50, was not far away – he was pictured with the King at the Chelsea Flower show that day – just three miles from the Wigmore. A pal reveals: 'Brooklyn had kept the visit quiet from not only his mum and dad but his siblings and extended family. It was terribly sad that he had flown thousands of miles to London and hadn't engaged at all. It would have been very easy to meet up.' ‌ Another Instagram post, made on May 16, showed Brooklyn with Nicola's late grandmother to mark the anniversary of her death. He captioned it: 'I miss you and will love you forever.' A friend said: 'Brooklyn's heart is of course in the right place…but it hasn't gone unnoticed how all the while he is posting about Nicola's family he is silent about his own, including his own grandfather whose birthday it was last week.' ‌ To acquaintances of the family, the blame for what they believe are 'performative' social media posts lies with heiress Nicola. They list concerns that she is somehow orchestrating her husband's social media activity, which they claim is out of character, and that she is responsible for 'isolating' Brooklyn from his friends and family. A pal says: 'She is creating conflict where there is none and divides are springing up left, right and centre.' ‌ But a source close to the couple has hit back at suggestions Nicola is 'controlling' her husband – and insists Brooklyn is very much his own man. They reveal: 'She is not isolating him at all. He is free to do what he wants and he loves his wife and they are happy together. They are each other's family.' Brooklyn captioned last weekend's motorbike video, shot in Beverly Hills: 'My whole world. I will love you forever. I always choose you baby.' ‌ The source insists this was 'completely misinterpreted' as being a dig at his own family. The source adds: 'It's a real shame that what Brooklyn did – which was a statement of love for his wife – is being portrayed as something that it's not. 'He loves his wife and everyone should be proud: his parents, his family friends. He stands by his wife and that's a normal thing to be a loving and supportive husband.' ‌ Asked if there was any desire for reconciliation on Brooklyn's side, the source said it was impossible given the highly charged atmosphere. Sources close to Nicola have previously insisted that as 'an outsider coming into the Beckham family, she has helped Brooklyn see the emotional abuse and toxic behaviour within'. ‌ The claims – described as 'patently untrue and ludicrous' by friends of David and Victoria – were the 'nail in the coffin' of any future relationship, according to insiders. Despite this, sources close to Nicola claim she doesn't want any fighting and is upset by the feud being played out publicly. Her friends say she tried to integrate. 'Nicola was working hard to have a healthy relationship,' says one. Pals of the Beckhams dispute this, with one saying: 'It's hard to find a way back after absurd allegations of emotional abuse.' ‌ Despite Nicola's pals claiming she doesn't want a battle, in other facets of her life she is known to fight. Last week it emerged she had hired high-powered celebrity attorney 'Mad Dog' Marty Singer, who has represented stars such as Michael Jackson and Kim Kardashian. Nicola is suing a dog groomer she alleges is responsible for the death of her chihuahua Nala and French bulldog Frankie. ‌ It comes after previous legal battles with her wedding planners. A source said: 'Nicola's family haven't become billionaires by being shy and retiring... it's in their nature to fight for what they believe is right.' As for the feud with her in-laws, many wonder how it will ever resolve. Some say a big sign will be if Brooklyn acknowledges his sister Harper's 14th birthday next month – he did not publicly mark Victoria's 51st nor David's 50th this year. ‌ Brooklyn and Nicola have posted pictures of themselves with Harper, and he is thought to be very fond of his youngest sibling. A pal says: 'Brooklyn isn't talking to his mum and dad, as well as Romeo, because he disapproves of his girlfriend. 'But in that case this 'feud' should start and end with them… 'The fact he has distanced himself from the whole, extended family is what makes this so sad. Perhaps Harper's birthday – and an acknowledgement of it – will be the first steps towards a peace deal.' Watch this space next month – but at this rate peace looks a long way off.

Dani Dyer and Jarrod Bowen look smitten as first wedding photos released

Dani Dyer and Jarrod Bowen have released an official wedding photo after they married today. Footballer Jarrod, 28, married TV star Dani in a fairytale day for the couple. They posted the first photo as a man and a wife on Instagram. Ahead of the wedding, Dani's father had given a glowing review of his new son-in-law-to-be. In the lead up to the big day, actor Danny told the Mirror: 'I have met every single boyfriend that has walked through my door - and then she brings home the West Ham captain. 'I have gone from the lying scum, and I hate them, to a man who I would not mind to tonguing myself. A strong man. If he lent in I would put my lips on this geezer. 'He is just, as a father and joking aside, he took her on with a 14 month old son and that says a lot about a man I will tell you. He is amazing. I can't wait to give her away. What a touch. But if he was to make a move on me before… "I think I'm in love with him, slightly.' Jarrod joined West Ham in 2020 and has regularly been the best player on the pitch, including when he scored the winning goal to give West Ham their first trophy in 43 years during the 2023 Europa Conference League final, Danny added: 'Okay. He plays for West Ham. He's one of West Ham's hot ones. He's the captain of West Ham. And he's unbelievable, this guy. I mean, he comes in my house. I take his shoes off for him. 'And I give him the remote control. And I say, 'Mate, this is your house now'. But he's an incredible person. I just want someone to love my daughters the way I do. "I want them to worship them and look after them. Let me tell you that. I love him.' Dani and Jarrod married this weekend after high profile hen and stag parties. Dani headed to Ibiza whilst Jarrod has been to Vegas. Dani's trip included a boozy brunch, a boat trip and a raucous night in the lavish nightclub Ushuaia.

Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn's Lizzy Greene now unrecognizable a decade after the Nickelodeon show premiered

Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn actress Lizzy Greene is now unrecognizable over a decade after she began starring in the beloved Nickelodeon show. Lizzy, now 22, was skyrocketed into the spotlight when she started starring as Dawn Harper in the popular series in 2014 at only 11 years old. Her adorable personality and impressive acting skills at such a young age instantly transformed her into a massive star. But now, 11 years after she captured hearts as the eldest of the Harper quadruplets in the popular children's sitcom, Lizzy is all grown up, and boy, does she look different from her Nickelodeon days. While she famously had blonde locks in the show, Lizzy is now a brunette, rocking a much-darker hairstyle. She has since launched a booming career, landing a slew of roles in popular shows and movies, and wracking up over three million followers on Instagram. Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn followed a set of nine-year-old quadruplets who have nothing in common but are forced to work together to navigate everyday situations. In addition to Lizzy, it starred Brian Stepanek, Allison Munn, Aidan Gallagher, Casey Simpson, Mace Coronel, Gabrielle Elyse, and Kyla-Drew Simmons. Lizzy, now 22, was skyrocketed into the spotlight when she started starring as Dawn Harper in the popular series in 2014 at only 11 years old It went on for four seasons before it came to an end in 2018. The show served as Lizzy's debut role, and she has not slowed down since then. After it concluded, she was cast as Sophie Dixon on ABC's A Million Little Things for five seasons. Most recently, she starred in the new Netflix western series Ransom Canyon alongside Josh Duhamel, Minka Kelly, James Brolin, and Eoin Macken. Lizzy reflected on how much she had grown since acting in Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn as a kid to Haute Living back in April. 'Really, it's the growth between each project. I look back and think of my career in stages, and with each job I think I grow to understand and trust myself as an actor more and more,' she dished. 'Each project is nuanced in its own way, and requires work catered to each character.' She called it a 'blessing' to 'grow and learn' in a 'business where you are always working with new people in new circumstances.' 'It keeps you on your toes and always challenges your idea of "better,"' continued the former Nickelodeon star. As for how her acting has changed since her Nickelodeon days, she explained that the 'older she gets' the 'more she draws from her life for her work.' 'Everything I do in my day-to-day life becomes inspiration for something at some point,' Lizzy shared. 'So many mundane things in life can teach you. Performance can be based on, or rooted in anything, so the learning never stops. 'Drawing from real life I've found brings the most emotion behind the roles that I do – and also provides a sense of self in each part.'
