Katy Perry 's 'Lifetimes Tour' is a total embarrassment and the Internet can't stop laughing
ALBAWABA - Katy Perry's new tour launch left fans confused and disappointed.
As evidenced by viral recordings of the pop star's 2025 tour kickoff on Wednesday night, which featured a significant amount of mediocre, low-effort dancing, Katy Perry may still be adjusting to Earth's gravity after little over a week in space.
Perry's "Lifetimes Tour," which accompanied the release of her lackluster 2024 comeback album, 143, began with the performance, which was the start of a three-night engagement at Arena CDMX in Mexico City. The act is a little cerebral, with a hazy plot based on a computer game about Perry, a "half-human, half-machine," facing off against an "all-powerful AI called the Mainframe," according to fan-uploaded video of the performance.

More plot details, such as the fact that the Mainframe has stolen the world's butterflies and that dogs are turning away from humans in favor of cats, are revealed in a narrated exposition at the start of the show. However, despite all of the half-baked narrative, the stage show itself appears to have completely failed at the "cool dancing" component of any classic pop show.
"Send her back to space!"
Following Katy Perry's incredible "What was she thinking?" "Lifetimes Tour" debuted on Thursday night; many people on social media are expressing that. That cringe is real.
When Katy Perry isn't too busy being an Astronaut or solving World Hunger she's on stage sharing her talents with the entire World…. pic.twitter.com/qRL6EY5JKX

The 40-year-old's dancing skills and performance were summed up nicely by one individual who tweeted, "Maybe instead of going to space, she should have been rehearsing her fight scene moves a little more." Naturally, Perry made headlines around the country last week when she boarded Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin voyage, which was the first all-female spaceflight. A source closer to Katy told People that she should apologize after being attacked by seemingly everyone, including Wendy's, which only served to further distance her from the internet and make her a target for more trolling.
The "Fireworks" singer was ridiculed in another video that went viral right away for a set that seemed incredibly poor and cost-cutting. The video shows her running around with what appears to be a fake Star Wars lightsaber and fending off dancers dressed as ghosts. Let me tell you, it's really captivating!
So Katy Perry's team thinks @Wendys should apologize for mocking her space trip… I'm sure they'll love my response 🤠 pic.twitter.com/tvmZQlhAUj — Gunz (@TheGunzShow) April 18, 2025
Don't worry if that doesn't make sense; the crowd was also unaware of what was happening, as the former American Idol judge is still trending on social media for all the wrong reasons.
The good news for fans is that many of them might not be affected by Katy's dull and ridiculous performance since they aren't attending the events. Following the pop singer's dismal "143" album release, which did worse in cinemas than Snow White, some gigs were still almost 50% unsold recently.
I've heard pregnant hippopotamus's sing better than Katy Perry.
Maybe she should stick to being an Astronaut. pic.twitter.com/N6shcQxYdz — Concerned Citizen (@BGatesIsaPyscho) April 25, 2025
All I know is that if Wendy decides to keep corresponding with Perry, they will have a TON of stuff, so I can't wait until whoever manages their social media accounts wakes up.

Sophie Turner supports Joe Jonas' new album—even after messy divorce
ALBAWABA - Sophie Turner is showing her support for ex-husband Joe Jonas' latest musical project. On Saturday, May 24, the 29-year-old actress posted a link to Jonas' latest album, Music for People Who Believe in Love, on her Instagram Stories with the message, "Go go @joejonas." In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Jonas said that he didn't even originally plan to create the album, which was released on Friday, May 23. It is his first solo project since 2011's Fastlife. According to Jonas, 35, "We were writing for a camp for the [Jonas] Brothers." "I asked the boys for their opinion because I was drawn to this particular song. I thought, "Hey, could I just take this one and see where it might go for myself?" It had a really intimate feel. Sophia Turner's May 24 Instagram Stories post "I mean, I get it," was Nick's statement. I understand, yet I'm jealous. 'I can't really answer no, because I didn't write on it,' he recalled. According to Jonas, he and a group of writers that included Lush, Alexander 23, and Justin Trainor "just carried on and made the album in two-some weeks." He added that he nearly released his new music last fall because he was so eager to share it with the world. "I spent some time there wanting to get it out. 'Can I just leak the album or put it out?' I suppose I asked my manager over the phone at some point last year. 'I'm tired of waiting,' I thought," he remembered. But in the end, Jonas said he's glad he was "convinced not to," because the new album wouldn't have included his most recent song, "Heart by Heart." Jonas has previously acknowledged that his breakup with Turner served as a major inspiration for his new album. TORONTO, ONTARIO - SEPTEMBER 12: (L-R) Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner (/AFP) In August 2024, the musician told Billboard that writing about the relationship was both liberating and frightening at times. "I don't intend to offend anyone with this record. Putting things on blast is not my goal. The music needed to reflect both my happiness and the journey I took to get here. "I was undergoing a lot of life transitions, discovering my identity as a friend, father, and person, and navigating the scrutiny that the music business can bring." And I believe that I turned to music as a release during such a chaotic period of my life," he added. In a joint Instagram post in September 2023, the couple, who had a formal divorce in September 2024 and had two daughters, Delphine, age two, and Willa, age four, discussed their decision to split up. "We have mutually decided to end our marriage amicably after four wonderful years of marriage," they wrote. Although there are many theories as to why, this is a unanimous decision, and we genuinely hope that everyone will honor our requests for privacy for both ourselves and our kids."

Everything we know about Lauren Sánchez 's ultra-expensive Paris bachelorette party
ALBAWABA - Lauren Sanchez is about to marry Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, after spending billions of dollars traveling to and from space. However, no famous billionaire wedding would be complete without a sumptuous bachelorette trip, this time to Paris, which is expected to cost more than the majority of us will make in ten years. The action has already begun, as Sanchez and her famous friends—among them fellow "astronaut" Katy Perry—have already been seen wandering the streets of the French city and swarming into and out of eateries. Thankfully, we have pictures of the guestlist since it is absolutely something that must be seen to be believed. Sanchez and a few of her friends were seen entering the L Avenue restaurant in Paris on Friday; today, they are embarking on a Seine River cruise. Lauren Sánchez Instagram profile Singer Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian (who just testified against the crooks who bound her and stole her jewelry), Kris Jenner, and Eva Longoria, who came to the festivities straight from the Cannes Film Festival, are among her guests. October Gonzalez, the wife of Sanchez's ex-husband Tony, a football star, is also present. The two of them have a kid named Nikko. According to reports, the two are close friends and have even taken vacations together. Other attendees include Veronica Smiley Grazer, Lydia Kives, Charissa Thompson, Natasha Poonawalla, and businesswoman Elsa Collins. Lauren Sánchez Instagram profile Additionally, Sanchez has already been posting pictures from the weekend on Instagram because we live in a social media world. She posted black and white pictures of the celebrations with the caption, "Forever starts with friendship, surrounded by the women who've lifted me up, illuminated my path in dark times, and shaped my heart along the way." The festivities, which will go on for the entire weekend, began with a sumptuous supper at Lafayette's. 'We recognized many big names, including Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry,' a server from the venue told the Mail afterwards. 'They were all delightful and a pleasure to have here.' It's scheduled for next month, and since billionaires have a lot of money, there's no better way to celebrate than to rent out an entire outdoor theater in Venice. Rumor has it that Bezos' megayacht will also be involved in the wedding in some way. The pair reportedly scheduled Lady Gaga and Elton John to perform, and the 200+ guests booked out some of the city's nicest hotels. Which visitors would those be? The visitors include Ivanka Trump, Leonardo DiCaprio, Katy Perry and her fiancé Orlando Bloom, and Karlie Kloss. It appears that Donald Trump has also received an invitation.
