According to authorities, the car was flagged during a routine naka inspection. SSP Traffic Jammu City, Farooq Kaiser, stated, 'The law is the same for all. The car was found with tinted glasses beyond the permissible limit during our routine naka. The vehicle has been impounded, and appropriate action will follow.'
Traffic Police officials reiterated that road safety and visibility regulations apply uniformly, irrespective of the owner's stature.
They cautioned that vehicles featuring unauthorised alterations or excessive tints could face seizure or fines until brought into compliance.
Despite this glitch, the event organisers confirmed that Akshay Kumar's scheduled appearance went ahead without disruption and an alternate transport was arranged for the actor. The officials further urged motorists to adhere to legal tint limits, warning that strict checks and penalties would remain in place.
