Lorraine Kelly to front brand new travel show on Channel 4

This comes after complaints and wild speculation from some fans that she barely hosts Lorraine.
Very little is known about the new travel series at the moment, but it has been suggested that Channel 4 is "delighted" to have signed her.

Discussing the new Lorraine Kelly series, a source told The Sun: "Channel 4 were delighted to have Lorraine on board.
"It was exciting for Lorraine to do something different and be on location again.
"Despite the apparent slight in the ITV daytime shake-up, Lorraine's loyal fanbase isn't to be underestimated and they will follow her wherever she goes.
"She's survived in this business a long time, and she's a master at rolling with the punches."

According to TV Zone, this comes after ITV confirmed a new studio home for popular daytime shows like This Morning, Loose Women and Lorraine.
It was announced that these would be joining ITN's headquarters and sharing a studio with a new-look ITV News.
Changes to scheduling were also confirmed, with GMB being extended by 30 minutes, running from 6am to 9:30am daily.
In the 2026 Daytime schedule, Lorraine will also run from 9:30am to 10am, on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks of the year.
Discussing the changes, Kevin Lygo, Managing Director of ITV's Media and Entertainment Division, said: 'Daytime is a really important part of what we do, and these scheduling and production changes will enable us to continue to deliver a schedule providing viewers with the news, debate and discussion they love from the presenters they know and trust as well generating savings which will allow us to reinvest across the programme budget in other genres...
'These changes also allow us to consolidate our news operations and expand our national, international and regional news output and to build upon our proud history of trusted journalism at a time when our viewers need accurate, unbiased news coverage more than ever.'
After receiving criticism from fans after hosting just 59.7% of the episodes of her popular morning show, she took to social media to explain why.
She shared: 'Initially, it was for my mum, who has been ill.
'And it sort of brings you into line with everyone else because if you look at This Morning, everybody else does four days.
'And as I'm getting older, I want to do other things, more writing, all of that. Mate, I've been doing this for 40 years, working my a*** off.'
She added: 'Maybe it just started off as a wee joke, but it's the way that everyone piles on.
'It starts off as a wee tiny thing, and it gets bigger and bigger. I find it really sad.'

James Martin considers leaving ITV show home after fears of getting 'lynched'

Celebrity chef James Martin has opened up about his love for his home county of Yorkshire, admitting he would be "lynched" if he didn't end up back there Celebrity chef James Martin has candidly expressed that he'll be "lynched" if he doesn't make his way back to Yorkshire. The 53 year old culinary star was raised on a sprawling 100-acre farm within the Castle Howard estate and cherishes his visits back home whenever possible. ‌ James currently divides his time among the Cotswolds, Manchester, and Hampshire, where he oversees his trio of restaurants. His current residence is in Hampshire, from where he broadcasts his show James Martin's Saturday Morning, filmed in a specially-constructed kitchen. ‌ His seven-bedroom Hampshire abode features an outdoor kitchen, a greenhouse, and sits on 1.5 acres of land. The bespoke outdoor cooking space includes a top-of-the-line wood-fired pizza oven, a large central island, and stylish green industrial lighting, setting the scene for the ultimate culinary experience. ‌ Segments of his ITV programme are shot within a converted garage. It's believed that the property is situated near James' eatery The Kitchen at Chewton Glen Hotel and Spa in New Milton. ‌ Despite residing in the south east, James' affection for Yorkshire remains evident. He informed his audience that he would be heading to God's Own County during the summer hiatus of his weekend show, reports Yorkshire Live. In a conversation with Food and Travel, James reminisced about his formative years: "I had an amazing childhood. We farmed 100 acres, so we learned the value of graft, but also about food. "It's an amazing lesson in life to learn at that age: to respect the people who produce food, that it's not just a given – people have to grow it, make it, produce it – and it also gives you a respect doing that as a career. I didn't enjoy school, I hated it, but I loved home life. I was always outdoorsy, mending fences, fixing tractors." ‌ He reveals the farm faced initial struggles as his father "wasn't a farmer by trade," having a background in catering instead. Nevertheless, the family persevered, eventually introducing chickens and pigs to their land. Yorkshire produce has consistently played a significant role in James' life - he even hosted a culinary tour across the county - shaping his approach to cooking. Yet, he admits it's the local folk that draw him back to his roots. He humorously notes that in London, if you strike up a conversation, "think you're going to mug them" whereas in Yorkshire, according to James, the people are "very honest and much friendlier". ‌ While he holds the Yorkshire populace in high regard, James doesn't shy away from praising the region's stunning coastline, the Yorkshire Moors, and the lush woodlands, labelling the area as "magical" and "diverse". Despite his deep affection for Yorkshire, it's somewhat unexpected that James remains settled in Hampshire, though relocating would present practical difficulties with his widespread ventures. However, James maintains that he has established a "routine" now. He reveals: "I know where I'm going on which day, every week, and the travelling isn't too bad." When probed about a potential return to his roots, James admits: "I'll get lynched if I don't end up in Yorkshire. I love Yorkshire." Catch Saturday Morning with James Martin at 9.30am on ITV One. This week's show, originally aired in 2023, features James in conversation with crooner Jack Savoretti, Midsomer Murders' Neil Dudgeon, and culinary wizards Glynn Purnell and Sabrina Gidda.

The Sun revealed last week a 37-second recording, where she plots to couple with popular Tommy Bradley as a surefire way to make the final. The pair joined Maya Jama on Love Island Aftersun tonight to address the infamous voicenote that has gone viral on social media. Lucy explained: "So obviously, like, we've probably all done it... sent voicenotes to friends and obviously I really did trust that friend and with the Tommy situation, I was obviously saying he's a very nice boy and that's why I wanted to get to know him. "I did say till the end, but it weren't the final, I meant the end... I would like to be with him in the future. "Someone with really good morals and also before going on the show, my dad did say to me he's the kind of boy he'd like me to bring home because he's very respectful." The Liverpudlian then apologised for her "rude" comments about Megan after she branded her a "f**king little slapper". Lucy continued: "Obviously to talk about Megan as well, I should never have commented on someone I'd never met before, so I do really apologise about that because I'm not that type of girl and it was very rude of me to do that as well." Tommy then tried to defend Lucy following the backlash she's since received. He told Maya: "You said as well, at the time, we're all just characters on the screen to her. "I know you were very excited to be going on one of the biggest reality show's in the country... emotions were high and you were speaking to one of your close friends. Watch Love Island Helena's fuming reaction as Harry rates ex Emma's kiss better than hers in saucy challenge "I think it's been blown out of proportion a little bit because I've said things to my friends in group chats, which if got leaked, it might have made me look like a bad person, but it's just to your mate, you never expect everyone to listen to it." Maya insisted: "That's definitely not a good friend, I hope you blocked her after that." Lucy admitted she's no longer pals with the person who leaked it. The voice note, which was revealed last Friday, said: "I've got a phone call today by the way, saying they want to fly me out on Tuesday or Monday. "So they said to me on Sunday they'll let me know for 100 percent, but looks like I'm f**king going on one of those days. So they were like, get your stuff packed basically. "I was like, I'm already packed love. They asked me for my top three boys. "I said, Tommy, I want Tommy. I feel like if I'm with Tommy I feel like I'll get all the way to the end. "Because everyone loves him. I don't know if you've been watching it but that Megan's being sent home and I'm f**king made up. "And she's being sent home because of the way she's treated Tommy. "And do you know what, I'm made up that I've been watching it because I know how to act. "Because she's being a f**king little slapper in there. "The public have voted her out. So I just need to be left a nice girl and just f**king stick with Tommy." Irish beauty Megan Forte Clarke was axed after her love triangle with Conor Phillips and Tommy led her to be voted one of the three least popular girls by the public. The contestants then chose to evict her, along with Remell Mullins as the least popular boy. After Casa Amor, Lucy walked into the main villa holding hands with smitten Tommy, who dumped Emily Moran to be with her. Emily was left shell-shocked having stayed loyal to Tommy and given a heartfelt speech in which she said she couldn't wait to see him. Tommy told the gathered Islanders how he had a better connection with Lucy; the pair had spent the past few days glued together sharing lots of kisses. Sheepish Lucy admitted it was difficult entering the villa in such a "s****y situation". When host Maya Jama told the group that Emily was dumped from the Island.
