How are star players from each NFC South squad predicted to perform this season? Let's check out a few player specials at DraftKings Sportsbook, as well as what to know about each player prop.
FALCONS
Drake London to score 10+ receiving TDs in the regular season (17 games): +225 (bet $10 to win $32.50 total)
Bijan Robinson to score 15+ rushing TDs and have 1,500+ rushing yards in the regular season (17 games): +500 (bet $10 to win $60 total)
Kyle Pitts to break the NFL regular-season tight end receiving yards record (1,417+): +3000 (bet $10 to win $310 total)
What to know: London set a new career high in receiving TDs last season with nine. In his first two NFL campaigns, he totaled just six combined. Robinson enters Year 3 after a significant sophomore leap — he rushed for 1,456 yards (third in the NFL) and 14 rushing TDs, 10 more scores than his rookie year. Pitts, the 2021 No. 4 overall pick, is still chasing a return to his rookie form, when he posted 1,026 receiving yards. Last season, he tallied 602 yards in 17 games.
SAINTS
Tyler Shough to break the NFL regular-season rookie passing yards record (4,375+): +3000 (bet $10 to win $310 total)
What to know: It's a crowded QB room in New Orleans. Rookie Tyler Shough is competing with Spencer Rattler and Jake Haener for the starting job. Shough, the oldest quarterback in the 2025 draft class at nearly 26 years old, posted a career-high 3,195 passing yards in his final college season at Louisville — his seventh year in college football.

What to know: Hubbard is coming off an impressive campaign, setting career highs with 1,195 rushing yards and 10 rushing TDs in 2024. McMillan, a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, played three years at Arizona and posted 1,402 receiving yards in his best collegiate season (2023). Young, meanwhile, hasn't come close to the QB rushing record — his highest total is 253 yards, which came as a rookie in 2023. He ran for 249 last season.

Cam Ward shows why the Titans took him at No. 1 overall in his preseason debut

The Tennessee Titans are the first to point out that rookie Cam Ward has room for improvement, even as the No. 1 overall draft pick provided plenty of optimism for the future. Ward didn't connect on his first two passes. Then he completed five of his next six for 67 yards and drove the Titans 65 yards on 11 plays, using up 6 minutes, 38 seconds of a 29-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 'It was a good start for him,' coach Brian Callahan said Sunday. 'Encouraging, was productive. But yeah, there's a couple of things that we're going to keep kind of grinding on I think. Still working on getting the ball out fast, still working on the timing part of it ... But overall pretty good." Ward showed the chemistry he's been building with wide receiver Calvin Ridley, connecting with the veteran three times for 50 yards. Best for the Titans is the pocket a revamped offensive line provided for the rookie. Tennessee gave up 52 sacks in 2024 — only Houston and Seattle (54), Cleveland (66) and Chicago (68) allowed more. That's why the Titans signed veteran Dan Moore Jr. to be their new left tackle, moving JC Latham over to right tackle after his rookie season. They also brought in 13-year veteran right guard Kevin Zeitler. Center Lloyd Cushenberry III is on the physically unable to perform list, and the Titans held Zeitler out of the preseason opener. But center Corey Levin and guard Andrew Rupcich both helped show how much this unit has improved working under assistant coach Bill Callahan. "Again, there's a lot of work still to be done and there's a lot of other rushers that are yet to be faced, so we'll build on a first positive first step, but definitely have a lot to keep going,' Callahan said. Injury update Callahan said running back Tyjae Spears will miss a couple of weeks with an injured ankle that had him taken by cart to the locker room during the second quarter of the preseason opener. Spears was seen by reporters with a walking boot on his right foot and using crutches after the game. Callahan said they're waiting on a final word on some things: 'But he will definitely miss some time.' Cushenberry is expected to start practicing this week. He started eight games before hurting his Achilles tendon in November. DT T'Vondre Sweat likely will need a week to recover from a tonsillectomy. Run D woes With Sweat and three-time Pro Bowl defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons both out against the Buccaneers, the Titans struggled like it was 2024 to defend the run. The Titans ranked 26th last season in allowing an average of 133.9 yards per game and gave up 178 to Tampa Bay. Three different Bucs had a long run of 12 yards or longer as Tampa Bay averaged 4.3 yards per carry. 'Not the number we're looking for, and that's got to get improved,' Callahan said. Road trip continues The Titans got to their hotel in Georgia around 4 a.m. Sunday. They practice against the Atlanta Falcons on Tuesday and Wednesday before Friday night's exhibition. ___ AP NFL:

Former Washington Football Star Shines in Steelers Debut

In his first preseason game for the Pittsburgh Steelers, former Washington linebacker Carson Bruener showed he is worthy of a roster spot. The son of ex-Steelers tight end Mark Bruener and seventh-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft led the way with 7 total tackles (5 solo) to help lift coach Mike Tomlin's team to a 31-25 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday night. Bruener, a team captain and starting linebacker for the Huskies in 2024, had a handful of tackles on special teams in his NFL debut, an area where the Steelers' legacy could make an impact as a rookie. Over his five seasons at UW, the 6-foot-1, 227-pounder proved himself capable as a special teams enforcer, earning team MVP honors for the Huskies' unit in 2023 as he waited his turn at linebacker behind a pair of veterans, Edefuan Ulofoshio and Alphonzo Tuputala. "Special teams is something I started playing at the University of Washington early in my career and is something I embrace and really fell in love with," Bruener told after being drafted in April. "It's something I have been able to do my whole career and excel at. I know that is something I am going to be able to bring to Pittsburgh for sure." Recently, the UW captain in 2024 was viewed as a potential cut candidate by Mark Kaboly, a long-time Steelers beat writer who covers the team for the Pat McAfee Show. The performance should give the rookie a boost of confidence as he continues to make a push to earn a roster spot when final cuts come down on August 26.
