The fan reportedly fell from a balcony at Wembley, plunging to his death on the concrete below. The identity of the man is yet to emerge. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police officers on duty at the stadium responded at around 22:19pm, towards the end of the gig when it was still 'busy', police said. 'We believe it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident, or may knowingly or unknowingly have caught it on mobile phone video footage,' the Met said.

Fans' horrified reactions
Oasis fans took to Facebook after the gig. The parent of one gig-goer said her teenage son "saw him falling" but was too far away to see him land. They added: "He asked me this morning to check for news about him, and there was nothing all morning so we hoped he was fine - so so sad to read the update this afternoon."

Another woman said the man fell into their block and described what happened 'awful'. She said her friend's daughter tried to help by performing CPR "until the paramedics arrived".
Claire Collier wrote: "It happened about [five] mins before the end of the gig, it was awful... thinking of his family and friends and everyone that witnessed it."
Fellow attendee Vincent Muylle said the atmosphere around him inside the gig was "euphoric" until the "very shocking" fall. "He fell, right in front of us," he said. Petrina Whiley said: "I think we are all in a state of shock at what happened last night."

What have Oasis said
Oasis said they were 'shocked and saddened' by the news. The band said in a statement: 'We are shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of a fan at the show last night. Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved.'
Oasis dedicated Live Forever to 'all the people who can't be here tonight' during their Wembley gig on Sunday. The touching moment came as the Manchester band brought to a close their first run of five gigs at the venue as part of their Live 25 tour.
Addressing fans on Sunday night, singer Liam Gallagher said: 'This one's for all the people who can't be here tonight, but who are here if you know what I mean, and aren't they looking lovely. Live Forever.'

Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey granted conditional bail

The Ghanaian midfielder, 32, has been charged with five counts of rape against two women, as well as a charge of sexual assault against a third woman. The alleged offences took place between 2021 and 2022, when he was an Arsenal player. Partey stood with his arms behind his back in the dock at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, wearing a black zip-neck jumper. His bail conditions include that he cannot contact any of the three women and must notify police of any permanent changes of address or international travel. It comes amid reports that Partey is set to join Spanish club Villarreal. As bail conditions were discussed in court, Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring said: 'I understand he's no longer employed in this country and playing in Spain now.' Partey is due to appear at the Old Bailey on September 2. He was charged four days after leaving Arsenal when his contract expired at the end of June. The Metropolitan Police said it first received reports of an allegation of rape in February 2022. Partey's lawyer Jenny Wiltshire previously said he 'denies all the charges against him', adding he welcomed 'the opportunity to finally clear his name'.

A murder investigation has been launched after a 45-year-old man was shot dead in London. A busy road in Hackney was shut to cars and pedestrians sometime between midnight and 1am this morning. The closure is in place from Amhurst Road to Kynaston Avenue, affecting traffic heading towards Dalston and Finsbury Park. Officers are currently stationed in the area outside Sainsbury's and Stoke Newington Methodist Church. Traffic is currently light but there is a slight build-up on Rectory Road which runs adjacent to the High Street. The 67, 76, 149, 243 and 276 buses are currently under diversion. The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service are yet to confirm the nature of this incident, but MyLondon has contacted them for more information.
