Below Deck Mediterranean is a reality show that premiered on Bravo TV on May 2016 as a spin-off of the network's larger Below Deck franchise. The original Below Deck series premiered on July 2013 and both it and its Mediterranean spin-off have been going strong since.

Anyone who's been closely following Gael and Nathan would already be aware the couple was expecting, as Gael had first revealed her pregnancy in a March 30 Instagram post with the caption 'Yep, you saw that right… now go ahead and speculate.'
Gael and Nathan would subsequently give an interview to People Magazine about their impending parenthood. Gael said that she felt excited, and a little scared, but also overwhelmingly happy.
She spoke of her body feeling bloated, and how it seemed to expand every second, and also got into discussing the cravings she'd developed for oysters. She made it clear, however, that she was immensely grateful, all things considered.
Gael and Nathan's followers have been overjoyed to hear of the baby's birth, with fans calling it 'the cutest below deck story ever' and lamenting that Bravo TV doesn't do more cast reunions.
