LA Rams schedule and opponents before, after facing the Arizona Cardinals Taking a look at the teams the Rams play before and after they face the Cardinals in 2025.
The NFL released its full 2025 regular-season schedule. We know the Arizona Cardinals' schedule.
What we don't readily know are their opponents' schedules. In particular, it is good to know the teams their opponents play before and after their game against the Cardinals.
Since the Cardinals play two games each against their NFC West opponents, let's have a look at their schedules and the teams they play the week prior and the week after.
Here is the schedule for the Los Angeles Rams.
LA Rams 2025 schedule
Cardinals-Rams games
The Cardinals' first game against the Rams comes in Week 14 at State Farm Stadium. The Rams will be coming off a normal Sunday game on the road against the Carolina Panthers in Week 13. They will have a big home game against the Detroit Lions the following week.
The Cardinals will be coming off a road game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and then will travel to Texas to play the Houston Texans the following week after the Rams.
Then the Cardinals and Rams face each other in the regular-season finale in Week 18. The Rams will have been on the road in Week 17 against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night, so they will have less rest than the Cardinals have facing the Cincinnati Bengals on the road on either Saturday or Sunday. If the Cardinals end up playing the Bengals on Saturday, they will have two days more rest than the Rams do.

Legendary Rams QB named among highest-graded players since 2000

Legendary Rams QB named among highest-graded players since 2000 The Los Angeles Rams' history over the past 25 years has been up and down. The franchise enjoyed a great start to the millennium with two consecutive playoff appearances and one Super Bowl berth before not seeing much success until Sean McVay became head coach in 2017. But over the past 25 years, one Rams quarterback made Pro Football Network's top-25 highest-graded quarterbacks list: Kurt Warner. He was a three-time Pro Bowler, two-time All-Pro and two-time MVP during his six years with the Rams after going undrafted in 1994 and playing for the AFL and NFL Europe. "Kurt Warner's career started before the QB+ era, but it includes some of the best years measured by the metric. In 2000, he led the NFL in completion percentage (67.7%), yards per completion (14.6), and net yards per pass attempt (9.03). "Warner made his mark with the St. Louis Rams during 'The Greatest Show on Turf,' one of the NFL's most explosive offenses. He later had a successful run with the Arizona Cardinals, earning a Pro Bowl nod in 2008 at age 37. Warner finished his career with 32,344 passing yards, 208 touchdowns, and a 93.7 passer rating. In 2001, he led the league with 4,830 yards and 36 TD passes. "From an advanced standpoint, Warner's numbers weren't elite but were solid — +0.13 EPA per dropback and 7.5 net yards per attempt. Those numbers, combined with his playoff success, helped earn him a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame." As PFN noted, Warner was the leader of "The Greatest Show on Turf" alongside Torry Holt, Isaac Bruce and Marshall Faulk. The group only won on Super Bowl together in 1999, but proved to be one of the most exciting teams to watch in the NFL at the turn of the century. Now, his bust sits in the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a sign of one of the greatest Rams players ever.

Peralta, Brewers hand the Cardinals their 6th straight loss with a 3-2 victory

MILWAUKEE -- Freddy Peralta struck out six over six innings of one-run ball and the Milwaukee Brewers scraped out just enough against Erick Fedde for a 3-2 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday night. After retiring the Cardinals in order through the first three innings, Peralta (6-4) gave up four hits and a walk. St. Louis has lost six straight to fall 1 1/2 games back of second-place Milwaukee and six games behind first-place Chicago in the NL Central. The Cardinals scored a run in the fifth when Alec Burleson and Nolan Arenado opened the inning with back-to-back doubles, and cut it to one run in the ninth on Victor Scott's RBI single off Trevor Megill. Fedde (3-6) also faced the minimum through three. Milwaukee's first hit came in the fourth when Sal Frelick led off with a single that hit Fedde on the left wrist. After getting checked out by the training staff, Fedde stayed in the game and William Contreras put Milwaukee on the board with an RBI double in the inning. The Brewers opened the sixth with back-to-back singles before taking the lead on Contreras' sac fly that brought Fedde's day to an end. The Brewers scored once more in the inning when Christian Yelich reached on a fielder's choice. Peralta is 4-0 with a 1.09 ERA in seven home starts this season. Milwaukee is 6-1 in those contests. Milwaukee LHP Jose Quintana (4-1, 2.86 ERA) was set to face RHP Andre Pallante (4-3, 4.75 ERA) on Saturday. ___

Oregon State opens College World Series with 4-3 walk-off win over Louisville

OMAHA, Neb. -- Aiva Arquette scored from first base on Gavin Turley's drive into the left-field corner in the bottom of the ninth inning to give Oregon State a 4-3 walk-off victory over Louisville in the College World Series on Friday night. The Cardinals had tied it with two runs in the top half before Oregon State recorded its fourth walk-off win of the season and second in four games. The No. 8 national seed Beavers (48-14-1), back in Omaha for the first time since they won the national title in 2018, will play Coastal Carolina on Sunday after the Cardinals (40-22) meet Arizona in an elimination game. Arquette, a projected first-round pick in the MLB amateur draft next month, was having a rough night in the field before delivering his third base hit of the game with one out in the ninth. Turley then sent the first pitch from Jake Schweitzer (4-2) on a line into the corner. Left fielder Zion Rose tried to cut the ball off but couldn't come up with it, allowing Arquette to be waved home. 'It was cool because it's the same thing every at-bat for us — go up and compete and hit the ball hard,' Turley said. 'Knowing we had the top of the lineup up, I knew we had a chance to do something dangerous.' Turley was drenched with a bucket of sports drink during the on-field celebration. In the Beavers' super regional opener last week, Turley scored the winning run on AJ Singer's walk-off single in a 5-4, 10-inning win over Florida State. Louisville was left to regroup. 'They took advantage of an unfortunate situation for us, just a little hiccup here or there and you get walked off in the ninth,' Cardinals coach Dan McDonnell said. 'Must have been a great game for everybody to watch and enjoy. A lot of good baseball. We came up on the short end.' The Cardinals, who trailed 3-1, stranded runners at third base in the sixth and seventh innings and couldn't score after getting their leadoff man on base in the eighth. They broke through to tie it in the ninth against Kellan Oakes (5-0). Rose tripled to left when the ball got past Turley and rolled to the wall and Tague Davis followed with an RBI single. Alex Alicea reached on shortstop Arquette's throwing error and ended up on third when catcher Wilson Weber lost his grip on the ball as he tried to get Alicea at second. Kamau Neighbors drove in Alicea for the tying run with his liner to center before Oakes got a strikeout and groundout to end the inning. Oregon State starter Dax Whitney was nearly untouchable the first two times through Louisville's order. He mixed mid-90 mph fastballs with knee-buckling curveballs and changeups to strike out eight of the first 11 batters he faced, and the only hits against him through five innings were a couple balls poked through the infield. The 6-foot-5 right-hander from Blackfoot, Idaho, finished with nine strikeouts and left with one out in the sixth and two runners on base. Louisville starter Patrick Forbes matched zeroes with Whitney through three innings, fanning five of the first nine he faced. He finished with 10 strikeouts and was replaced by Justin West with bases loaded in the sixth after he issued his only walk. West ended the inning with two strikeouts, but not before Canon Reeder made it 3-1 when Alicea couldn't pick up his sharply hit grounder. Oregon State traditionally has not done things the easy way in the CWS. The Beavers lost their openers in five of their previous seven appearances. In 2018, when they won their third national championship, they had to win six elimination games. This year, the Beavers won four win-or-go-home games in regionals and another in the super regionals. Avoiding the loser's bracket is a welcome change. 'It definitely is nice to not have to go through that from the get-go,' catcher Wilson Weber said.
